Vacation rentals with lake access in Stellenbosch

We stayed for a month with the family to explore the surrounds over Christmas. It’s such a beautiful place, both Lois-Mari and Willie were great hosts! Their dogs were amazing and so great with our kids - who loved having them around. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to get back! Thanks guys!

We had an incredible stay at Villa Sunset Beach! From the moment we arrived, Barbara was the perfect host—so friendly and welcoming, always available to ensure we had everything we needed. The villa itself was stunning, with breathtaking beach views that were perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Our family had an amazing time, enjoying the serene atmosphere and the convenience of being so close to the beach. It was the perfect getaway for us to recharge and have fun together. I have stayed at this villa previously and it is fantastic with all of the required for a great holiday with children. The location is also brilliant - close to the dam, on the golf course and there is a swimming pool and tennis court on the estate. The estate is also secured and monitored 24/7.

We had a great stay! Great house with everything you need in a lovely and safe neighborhood! We enjoyed sunsets at the lake 2 mins walking, the pool and terrace, amazing vinyards in Wellington…and much more. Elena was very friendly, always available. We felt at home!

Fairly small house, but quaint and ideal for our family of 4. Very close to the main street with all the action, so ideally located. Situated in a secure estate giving another level of safety. Candace was a great host. There were some noisy geese (migratory) that had conversations through the night, but on the other hand, they did give a true feel of nature :-)

Joan is a great host! I absolutely loved staying in her beautiful apartment. The location is perfect and the apartment is stunning. She has gone out of her way to provide guests with everything they need for a comfortable stay. I can’t wait to go back!

Chandre is a fantastic host! Her Airbnb is cozy, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need. The decor is stunning, and the furniture and cutlery are of excellent quality. I’ll definitely be back for another stay!

To Kayla We had a lovely stay. Our host, Kayla was very friendly and help full. We went to Cape Town for a family funeral and was so surprised finding a beautiful sympathy card and flowers to encourage us. That was so thoughtful. We appreciated it very much. We will recommend this place to friends and family. Lovely views from the balcony and lots of restaurants to visit within walking distance. Safe and secure environment even the security team was friendly and helpful. The place has beautiful decor. Will definitely stay there again. Thanks Julian & Siblings

We had a wonderful stay, it was indeed cozy. Beautiful view, the apartment is very resourceful which almost felt like an extra treat 🤭 Chanél is very responsive which feels super supportive if one is uncertain about anything.

We had a wonderful two night stay at Adri’s place. The location was beautiful and the space suited to a group travelling together. The kids loved having access to the club pools for swims. We did have difficulty checking in and locating the place as it was listed as Val de Vie but was on Pearly Valley Golf Estate. The estate has complex check in procedures for security but once you have gone through this then it becomes easier. Adri was always very responsive and assisted us when needed. The only thing that would make this place better is that the kitchen could be better stocked. Thanks for a great stay!

We had such a lovey stay at Shane's farm. The location was perfect - down a beautiful quiet farm road, and close to top wine farms such as Rust en Vrede and Uva Mira. Also very easy to make a trip into Stellenbosch village. The home was cosy and authentic, with lovely fire places for cold nights. We enjoyed experiencing farm life, with sheep, turkeys and donkeys passing by, and Shane and her husband were very kind in involving my son in the feeding of the animals. We will definitely return.

Lovely and peaceful with interior space even better than in the photographs. The unit had everything we needed and communication was clear an quick. Good location close to town but away from the crowds. As is clear from the pictures these unites are side-by-side, but they are still very private. (I guess you could have bad luck and a noisy neighbour.) Would definitely recommend.

Franschhoek Farm Cottage was heaven on earth. Perfect place to chill and great location for visiting the wine estates around. The attention to details will make you feel right at home. The view point it’s must to visit! I will definitely recommend. Thanks again for everything.

This place is simply sublime. I wish I owned it. To say that it's well equipped is an understatement, it has all the things one needs e.g. including a egg poacher pan. The surroundings are so beautiful and we were lucky to see the pear trees were in bloom. The only criticism is that the farm activity (tractor) was going on until about 9 pm on the Friday, but it was peacful the rest of the weekend.

We really enjoyed staying at Lisa’s cottage. It is very spacious and homely. It is secluded and peaceful, but the lovely Postcards cafe is a short stroll away. Postcards cafe serves lovely food in a stunning setting. The Cottage is a short drive away from walking in the mountains, but also a short drive to the many wonderful wine estates that the Winelands have to offer. Lisa responded very quickly to messages.
