Calm and traditional farm house flat near highway

Our farm house ("Vierkanthof") is surrounded by fields, meadows and woods. The quaint apartment is absolutely quiet, yet very central (10 minutes to Wels and Grieskirchen, 25 to Linz, 1 hour to Salzburg, 2 hours to Vienna, 5 minutes to the next motorway drive and to Bad Schallerbach). Within walking distance there is the possibility to feed our sheep and chickens.

We had a fantastic stay at Christina’s place. It was an easy walk or ride on the hotel shuttle from the parking area and we were given very clear instructions for check in. Christina was a very responsive host. The apartment was so cute and comfortable and the view was even better than in photos. We loved our visit to the Hallstatt area and would not hesitate to stay at Christina’s place if we returned. Thank you!!

What can I say that others haven’t? Elisabeth gave us a wonderful and amazing, caring and nurturing experience. Her home truly is characterised by her children from their creative art and vibe. Columbo provided incredible dinners from his background being Italian and not to mention Elisabeth’s own home made Apple strudel which she makes from her own garden apple tree. Fresh eggs in the morning from her chickens. Our dogs certainly were entertained chasing each other around the chicken coop. Our trip was especially characterised by there being the biggest snow fall in Wels in years! A truly memorable experience and weekend away. We cannot thank her enough and truly look forward to seeing her again in the near future!

The stay for the 4 days was very pleasant. Christine has lovingly furnished the apartment. A very modern kitchen with all the appliances is well equipped. The conservatory with the fireplace is fantastic. Thank you for inviting me to the thermal bath, I enjoyed the evening very much. I'll be back with you on the next business trip in 2026. The stay was an absolute dream! The cottage was very tasteful and cozy - the view was magnificent. We felt very comfortable and welcome right from the beginning. Veronika gave us good recommendations and was very kind. Our highlight: the fine guitar sounds we were able to listen to in the morning. We will be happy to come back :)
