The Urban Barn! private parking

Our place is a 10 minute drive to I-35/Ames. Restaurants & a park are within walking distance. This studio is a flat above a detached garage and has a lovely, rustic charm and is separate from the main house. The living room has a pull-out couch, increasing guest size from 4 up to 6. The space includes a mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, smart TV, Wi-Fi, dining area and an outdoor grill. This is not handicap accessible as it requires going up one flight of stairs. Quiet & peaceful neighborhood!

came in town for a funeral and never felt more at home while traveling. I thought it would be weird starting at a working ranch where employees are there working but it wasn't in the slightest. we are planning on coming back for 4th of July weekend. wonderful host. if you stay here and have problems, I can promise you that it's you cause everyone we interacted with was really friendly. thank you so much Deborah.

Stievenson Farm is definitely a place I would be listing again when I need another break from the city. This was by far the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed!!! Well worth the privacy and fun things to do! Pete was an absolute great host and was responsive to all questions and concerns! Beautiful space and plenty to do for our entire group including a super fun playroom for the children :) 5/5 from myself and my family!

We had a great time staying at Darcy's place! It's a nice older house in a very cozy neighborhood with quiet neighbors and peaceful surroundings. It was perfect as a pet friendly option while in town with my dog for my brothers wedding. The complimentary coffee saved me multiple mornings! I really appreciated that touch. Darcy is an excellent communicator and was a great host. Props to Darcy's husband for his drywall patch job too, it really was a 'very decent' job Darcy! Wouldn't have even noticed he'd had to do work if you hadn't given a heads-up! Would definitely stay again when visiting Ames in the future.
