The Forge cottage is set on our working sheep farm, on the Durham Northumberland border. A Nice little 1 bedroom apartment located in the historic Quayside area of Newcastle. Set in a period building with easy access to the city centre, many bars, restaurants and theatres. Very easy walking distance to the Sage and ten minutes walk to Central Station. For Parking The nearest multi-storey Is 5 mins away on Dean Street NE1 1PG It’s 2.10 an hour between 8am and 7pm and free over night. Sometimes in the summer the famous Tyne Bridge Kittiwake’s can be a little noisy.

We're only a couple of miles from the C2C cycle route, with easy access to lots of other cycle routes & walks.

The Oaks

The Oaks is attached to our home. It has its own private entrance from the outside and internal doors are locked. It is an ensuite room set out like a hotel room. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS OUR FAMILY HOME AND IS NOT SUITED FOR A ROMANTIC/ PASSIONATE NIGHT AWAY BUT FOR GUESTS WANTING A PEACEFUL GETAWAY.. Wooden stairs lead up to this first floor bedroom that has its own decked area with outside furniture to enjoy the fantastic views.
