Donna was honestly the best host I’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. She was thoughtful, kind, responsive, and seems like a very nice person. They had even snacks and food available for us. All of the personal touches really made you feel welcome and at home- like you were staying with a friend- not just renting out a cold stranger’s house. The space was clean and quiet. It was a wonderful experience for us. We will visit again when we can!

Jim was a wonderful host - accommodating, responsive, and welcoming. His home was clean, comfortable, and complete with all the advertised amenities. The property is well kept and is very close to nice beaches and a short walk to several restaurants.

This place exceeded our expectations- the listing photos do not do the views justice. Everything else was just as advertised and met or exceeded all of our needs. The entire place was spotless upon arrival, plenty of towels and kitchen wares. Easy simple requests from host for check-out too! This was a long girls weekend with my two adult daughters and we loved it so much we barely left. Our original plan was to fill the weekend with wineries, restaurants and maybe some shopping or sightseeing of the area, we planned a pretty full weekend. However, we loved the views and tranquility of the place so much we BARELY left the house. Over the weekend, we only hit a few wineries, (with great recommendations from the host by the way) then we door-dashed every meal in so we could enjoy the back patio area and the beauty and peace of the beach and views. You won’t be sorry if you book this property. Such an amazing little place, you’ll never want to leave.

The stay was absolutely perfect! Gabrielle was responsive, kind and clear in her communications. The space was accurately described and had a very warm and cozy feeling inside and outside. The deck on the bay was an amazing bonus. A fabulous way to begin and end the day with sunrise and sunset. I hope to be able to return one more time this season and absolutely for next!

Nice cottage on water, scenic channel in back, large tides, beach atmosphere, totally good. Fairfield is a nice town 10 mins drive. friendly neighbours. Cool place, Not far from NYC. Thank you Nadia.

The home was very neat and cozy. We got to use the kayak provided on the pond nearby. It was a lot of fun. The overall stay was great!

We absolutely loved our stay! Ivan was very accommodating and the location is absolutely beautiful. Would definitely stay again if we are ever back in CT.

Dawn’s place was great. The lake views were amazing. Although we did not use, but paddle-boards and kayaks were also available at the property. Bedrooms were cozy and the kitchen was very clean, it was compact but had all the amenities we needed and more. Would highly recommend.

This was great for our family! It is hard to travel with 3 dogs, but ours felt right at home. The cabin makes you feel like your miles from civilization yet you are 5 minutes from the high way. For us it was ideally located between family, and our dogs acclimated like they were in there own home. The kitchen was well equipped even though we did not make use of any thing other than the coffee maker, the toaster, and the fridge. The lake is beautiful, the area was quiet, and the neighbors were all friendly and quick to give a wave. We would stay here again if we are up in this area.

This is our second time staying at this AirBnB, we can’t say enough about the owners. They are loving and extremely accommodating. We were attending my mother-in-laws funeral and they went above and beyond and event left us a sweet card and a box of chocolate. Few people in this world are so considerate, this meant a lot to us. We will be back to visit Cheryl and Christine.

Kimberly’s home is absolutely beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice. The large windows and skylights and surrounding wooded area give it a peaceful indoor/outdoor feel. We loved watching a family of deer (including two adorable fawns) running through the yard throughout the day. This was quite the novelty for us since we were visiting from nyc. The kitchen is VERY well equipped and intelligently designed. Kimberly clearly loves to cook and was generous in allowing us to use her personal cookware and spices. Her bathrooms are beautiful and tranquil as well. The living areas and outdoor seating are very comfortable and we enjoyed spending time and relaxing there. We visited for a week with our 15 month old son and he had a blast jumping with us on Kimberly’s trampoline and throwing balls around in her basement (she has a basketball hoop/balls and ping pong table but he hasn’t yet mastered those sports in his young life). Beyond the actual home itself, Kimberly was a fantastic host. She was easily reachable through text throughout our stay in case we had any questions or issues. She also went out of her way to provide us with suggestions and kid friendly ideas for the area. She even left a toy drum from when her kids were younger out for our son to play with. We are very glad to have found this home and had Kimberly as our host.

Ksenia and Nicolas were wonderful hosts and their home was exactly what we were looking for - a beautifully designed open space with a private backyard and large pool. It's also close to local beaches and restaurants, which was a plus. We hope to visit again soon.

This place is a hidden gem. So close to the beach, easy to get to and full of charm. We really enjoyed our stay and the location. It's small in places, but well-organized and every inch of space is thoughtfully used. You can tell they care a lot about this place and are looking to do more with it.
