House vacation rentals in St. Ignace

House was as described and the host put lots of thought into the little things. Very well stocked and very clean. Beds were comfortable. Centrally located for day trips. Sandy beach very close. Had a great time and would stay here again.

This place is amazing! Truly peaceful setting. It was perfect sitting in the hot tub and listening to the waves from the lake. The sauna was hot and easy to use. It's a short walk down to the lake and the view is breath taking. The house had everything we needed. The downstairs bed was very comfortable and nice linens. Kelly recommended several local restaurants that were good. We also went to Michael's Steakhouse in Indian River and the food there was amazing! Kelly was a great resource and helped make our trip perfect! We will definitely stay here again.

What an amazing place Justin and Wendy have. Justin was a fantastic host very through with all instructions and information regarding the home. We had 5 adults and the 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms worked out great. I cannot say enough great things about this home. We went to Mackinaw Island but stayed in St Ignace. We stayed May21-23rd . The check in and check out went great. We even went to Kewadin Casino and won some money. All in all fantastic time with family at a fantastic place. The Saunna works well. If you have a pet with you the small fenced yard is great. But if you pet is small, beware of gaps at the gate and by house. Escape artist dogs should stay on a leash. The enclosed porch is very cosy. Over all a very nice space.

It is the perfect vacation place. This place has direct lake access with scenic peaceful surroundings. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cherished each moment we spent. Barbara's place feels like home with thoughtful attention to details. Especially if you are traveling with a big group or kids, she has provided enough toys and supplies like kitchen/bath towel, coffee etc. Highly recommended Just one thing to mention, the King bed is on a lofted bedroom which does not have four wall enclosure like regular rooms. I think this is a Michigan architecture style and looking carefully at the pictures you can easily figure it out. So something to be careful about for a big group

Eight of us (4 siblings and spouses) spent three nights here. We had a great view of the bridge and a very peaceful location. Host did a great job, house was very well stocked and extremely clean. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed Dawn’s place for our short stay. The house was comfortable and clean. The house is located in the woods along a private drive and has a wonderful large fenced back yard and outside deck area. This was the perfect place to hang out with our dog. Dawn was a great host. Great stay.

Great place to stay. We made a weekend trip to visit Mackinac Island, which was less than 20 minutes away. The place was in perfect order with lots of different games to play. You can tell they put lots of thought into renting their space because it feels just like home. They even left a bottle of wine, all the ingredients to make smores, and two bags of popcorn for us to use. Definitely a great host!

We had to cancel our trip last minute due to health concerns and heavy smoke from Canada. Jake was very responsive to messages and understanding of our health concerns. They were supportive and very professional in all communication and I hope to visit their listing later in the year. I have never had to cancel a reservation and deeply appreciate their understanding and respectful communication during our decision.

Great host and place! Awesome location and great recommendations from the host guide, also dog friendly was a bonus being able to walk our dog around the town!

This place was so nice and relaxing! One thing that we were happy about is that they welcomed dogs! We have 2, 9 month old mini poodles and this was their first adventure so having a host that accepts pets was #1 on our list. This place is way better than the pictures! We felt right at home and we loved watching the boats go by on the river! The beds were so comfy and made for an even better relaxing time. I highly recommend this place. It is very private and quiet! We saw lots of different types of birds, including a couple eagles. We knew a beaver was close by but never got to see him, only his handy work. I wish we could have stayed longer and hope to be back in the future! Thank you Donald, we soooo enjoyed your place!

I've been coming to Howard's cabin with friends for 5 years now. The place is always great and Howard is very helpful! We hope to be back again next year!

Terry and her ckeanung crewndo an amazing jib, the home is always spotless. They are very responsive to any communication. The beds are comfy and you may gain a few pounds because of all the treats.

We LOVED this place and will return! We came during Thanksgiving week and it snowed that night and it was wonderful waking up seeing snow on the ground and on the lake. It was beautiful sipping coffee looking out the window. Our dog Luna loved it too and the snow! Patrick, the host, thought of everything you could need. We loved the book they put together telling us all the things we could do. It was like a road map to Atlanta. They responded to any of our needs quickly. We will come back again in the summer to take advantage of the boats to fish!

Makayla’s place is gorgeous and she’s a wonderful host. The place could have had less (cute) decorations for those traveling with young kids. We hid most of them but missed one or two that eventually became casualties of the 3 year old. But Makayla handled it with grace. And was so kind in her exchanges going so far as to mail back the toddler’s favorite PJs and stuffy.

The place was very clean and surrounded by beautiful nature. We will definitely come back again!

This has been my favorite Air BNB to stay. Everything was exactly as portrayed in photos. Very clean, beds cozy, check-in/out smooth, & we were able to use the pool & jacuzzi!

Check in was easy. Quick responses. Location was private and felt at home. My family and I enjoyed the outdoor sitting area and hot tub. Unfortunately the waterpark was closed. But everything else was great. Thank you.

I'm not at all surprised that we were pleased with our stay; what surprised me was how much I agreed with the other fantastic reviews! Bill's experience in hospitality and excellent taste, attention to detail, and kindness pair wonderfully with the gorgeous location to create a truly phenomenal stay. We've had many great stays elsewhere, but this is as close as I've ever come to a friend tossing me the keys to their lake house for the weekend. The house is very well outfitted and cared for, with a top- notch kitchen and many thoughtful touches. Bill even took us on a boat ride around the lake during our stay! We've already reserved another stay. There is definitely a reason it is booked through the end of summer!! Highly recommend staying here and renting with Bill.

Sam and Lynn were very responsive and welcoming hosts. They provided us with snacks and some complimentary items in the fridge! The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. It was a very homey stay, I would definitely come back!
