Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Springfield

This was our second stay and again it was a very pleasant experience. Mornings are beautiful as the sun lights up farm and the hillside. The sounds of the animals are soothing to the soul. We hope to stay again on our next visit.

It was wonderful. It was spotless and spacious. Just enough but not too much! I loved that they had extra toiletries in case you forgot to travel with yours! I would highly recommend it!

My family and I were in town to attend our daughter’s graduation from Amherst College. Sandra’s home is located approximately 20 minutes from BDL and 45 minutes from the college. The location and distance from both worked well for us. Sandra was responsive and accommodating. The home is incredibly cozy, clean, roomy, and beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay even though we weren’t able to spend too much time there due to our hectic schedule. We were a tad concerned about potential noise due to the proximity of the train/tracks, but it wasn’t too disruptive. Also, the stairs that lead to the upstairs bedroom are a little steep, which may be useful information for some visitors. Overall, we would definitely stay there again and recommend it to other travelers!

Bryan and June’s place is peaceful and cozy, and the location by the river is spectacular. The kitchen was really comfortable, clean and usable with lots of cookware and nice quality dishes to eat off of; we easefully made multiple meals together and really enjoyed doing it - which isn’t always the case with Airbnbs. Both bedrooms are lovely, so if you’re in a group that needs both bedrooms, this is a rare find where EVERYONE gets “the nice room.” A rare find!! The beds are comfy and on the softer side, and should work great for 99% of people (they were just fine for my spouse and for our friend who traveled with us). IF you are someone who needs an especially firm and supportive bed due to back issues (my situation, sigh), they may not work for you. I’m only sharing that for anyone else in my very specific position, since I also rely on reviews for info like this!

Host went out of their way to make our stay special. We were down there for UConn graduation it was close to the school but far enough away to not be in all the traffic of graduation. Would highly recommended to other UConn parents and anyone visiting the area for school tours etc

Mamma’s Place superseded our expectations and experience of an Airbnb stay. Thank you so much Jacolyn for your accommodations and thoughtfulness , your home is extremely beautiful, clean and cozy . We had a blast !

Excellent layout, especially as we were travelling with dogs. The yard is securely fenced (check the gates!) and is accessible from the kitchen. Bedrooms comfortable and spacious. Quiet, interesting residential area; good for walks.

This is a very pretty, well decorated and organized home. Kitchen has everything from high quality plates to new nonstick cooking pots. It also has nice water boiler, we drink tea and hot water all the time, so it was a huge help. Huge master bedroom. You can also comfortably work in one of the many rooms. There is a really nice breakfast place near by, Crepes Tea House, a must try. Host is very nice and responses very quickly.

This will forever be my 'Goldilocks' airbnb! Everything was just right. Loved it and Donna! Lovely backyard for my dogs, even a small fenced area to let off steam. Inside looked exactly like the pics and so clean. It was very convenient to Three County Fair which was my daily destination. I wish I had reason to return!!! '

Our stay was wonderful!! There is not a tv in the studio which we LOVED! Everything was clean and bright and airy. Very peaceful. We stayed for a short trip for a wedding in town and it was an 8 min drive to downtown area which had so much to do! Would definitely stay again if we visit the area.

The location is terrific, easy from the airport and close to many other attractions. The facilities were well taken care of, very clean and stocked with all you could need.

This is one of the best places I've stayed in a long time. Idyllic, pastoral... it was perfect. Just wish we could have spent longer there! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped, and it's hard to argue with a host who keeps the second "B" in "BnB"! there were fresh eggs and milk and pancake mix provided. Our five year old liked watching the chickens and feeding them our food leftovers, and there's a great play area (unfortunately the weather didn't give us much of a chance to use it). We can't wait to find a time to come back! The only tricky bit is not getting confused by the driveway - the host's directions are PERFECT but it takes a sec to realize that you turn in and squiggle between other properties and only then you'll see things you recognize from the photos.

This was a delightful stay, and I wish we hadn't had so many family obligations so we could have enjoyed the place better. I so wanted to take time to relax on the beautiful and inviting back patio and just explore the property. I love historic places. We will definitely stay again next time we have family events in the area. Carol reached out to us and made us feel very welcome. We knew we had help if we needed something, but we didn't experience any issues at all, so didn't need to reach out. Great host for sure!!!

This place was so cute! It was clean, nicely decorated, and well-stocked with kitchen equipment, with a chalkboard that had clear wifi instructions and recommendations of places to eat nearby. Check-in was easy with the keypad lock. The fresh eggs on the counter were a nice touch and my toddler got a kick out of seeing the rooster in the morning. We'd love to come back!

Virginia's place feels like home. We loved the comfy feel and decor. The beds were super comfortable, kitchen well stocked, it had everything we needed. I took a run in the morning and loved the neighborhood, it had a great vibe. And of course we stopped by the pie shop.

The listing is as described and pictures are accurate. There's street parking, the location is on the second floor. It's easy to get inside though the steps up are narrow and may be an issue for some. Some rooms are in need of touch ups or fixes--bathroom doesn't lock, one door needs to be shoved to be closed, some of the blinds should be replaced. That said, it's a good location that's worth the price. The kitchen is well stocked and Moyah is helpful before and during the stay. I'd stay here again.

We loved our stay at Obi’s apartment in Hartford. It was spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. Street parking was easy. Obi is a great host! We’d love to stay here again the next time we’re in the area.

We had a fantastic experience! The home is in the perfect walkable location to all of the shops and restaurants in mystic. The home is clean, looks just like the photos, and the owner is extremely detailed with arrival information. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot. We will definitely stay here again!

I am very familiar with the villas there so the layout is very similar to the one my parents bought. I think it was very nice to have the keypad to get in and out and everything was clean and it was very easy communicating with Kim.

Muna was incredible start to finish with my stay. Helpful, communicative and accommodating. Place was perfectly as described. Genuinely recommend a stay at her place!

Great apartment! Furniture is comfy. Kitchen is fully stocked. Neighborhood is peaceful. During my stay the cutting boards were stored between the microwave and wall (took me a day to find them)

This is a wonderful property that is close to everything we like to do! Krista is a wonderful host and I’m always excited if her place is available.

We had a great time and the property was immaculate! The hosts came by with extra towels quickly upon request and it was a holiday. Recommended!

We stayed in town for an event at Mohegan Sun. The flexible check in was helpful as we got in late at night. The place was clean and welcoming.
