Vacation rentals with lake access in Spring Lake

This house is BEAUTIFUL! We stayed for a long weekend when my daughter was graduating form Hope College. It was the perfect house for several family members to stay and connect - and yet there were lots of space for people to get some "alone time" if needed. It's right near (not on) the water, bike and running trails nearby - close to the beach... and qucik 10 minutes drive to downtown Holland. The hosts were excellent - great communication, clear instructions - I highly recommend this place as a TOP NOTCH place to stay with family!

Beautiful cottage directly on the lake that was perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed our days on the shaded porch. Our family loved the kayaks and fishing. We arrived late and the lights were left on for our convenience. We will definitely be back!!

We enjoyed our weekend at Segrid's home. The beach was so nice and close for walks and the sound of the waves on our fall retreat was an added, peaceful, bonus!

This is a great place! Beautiful lake views and so many amenities. Kathy has gone above and beyond and thought of every little detail and the small things which matter! A welcome box of snacks, plenty of K cups for coffee. The place is immaculate and I would definitely recommend!! Thank you Kathy!

Island View Cottage was just perfect for our family. Our grandchildren (8 and 10 yr olds) just got out of school for summer vacation. We wanted to treat them and spend some quality time together. The lake was the center of their activities, just steps off the deck to the dock with a sandy beach, clear water and plenty of shallow area to swim and play in. There was no lacking of activities to keep them entertained. Lots of beach toys, kids fishing gear, kayaks and paddle boats were provided. The kids had a great time catching fish off the dock. After a full day in the water, family board games were provided for evening entertainment or sitting around the fire 🔥 pit roasting marshmallows. The host lives nearby and was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. When we got to the last day no one wanted to leave. Many great memories were made.

Lake Hess was perfect for a weekend getaway. The cottage was cozy and had great space for yard games. Justin was a great and responsive host!

This was an awesome spot. Would love to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake.

Our family just returned from what can only be described as our best vacation yet, all thanks to the incredible AirB&B we had the pleasure of staying in! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home and comfortable. What truly set this property apart was its perfect integration with nature. The house offered an amazing balance of forest tranquility and beach access. We spent our mornings enjoying coffee amidst the peaceful rustling of leaves and the scent of pine, often spotting local wildlife. In the afternoons, it was an easy stroll to the beach, where we built sandcastles, splashed in the waves, and collected seashells. Having both environments so readily available was an absolute dream for every member of our family. Beyond the fantastic location, the house itself was wonderfully appointed – cozy, clean, and truly a place where we could relax and unwind. And the hosts? Absolutely amazing! They were incredibly welcoming!! We can’t recommend this place enough!!!!

Excellent location. Unit is small and bathroom/toilet is a tight fit. Very clean on arrival and furnishings are nice.

Craig and Starrlynn are outstanding hosts! This is a gorgeous property and a well-done major reno. The new decor is modern, cohesive and elegant. I’m so happy we were able to stay here and can’t wait to return! Thank you Craig and Starrlynn!

This was by far the nicest Air B&B we’ve ever stayed in! Great value, very clean, nice amenities and a very comfortable bed. We’ll definitely return when we’re in the area visiting family. Thanks for providing us with a great place to stay. The pontoon rental next door was also a hit with our granddaughters!

My wife and I stayed in Grand Haven for a weekend. This place was a great deal for the location. Just a few blocks from downtown. We also were very thankful at how clean the place was. We would definitely stay here again!

If you're looking for a great spot to land, right on the water, and near some great bites and excellent things to do...book NOW! Austin is an excellent host. This unique AirBnb is situated in the renovated living quarters of the innkeeper at the Weathervane Inn. It's off to the side and feels private, and you have your own private exterior entrance. There is a door that enters into the Inn (tucked away behind the inn front desk). This came in clutch when I forgot my toothpaste and was able to pop over to the Inn and ask for some. Guests here can also enjoy the complementary continental breakfast! The road in front of the Inn is fairly busy, but not overwhelmingly so. The area is very walkable, and we took our dogs and family to both Montague and White Hall by foot. So fun! Lots of great little restaurants and spots (definitely drop into the Book Nook and Java shop). We drove to Silverlake on one of the days (30 minutes away). BEAUTIFUL state park and dunes.

Joshua was an excellent host. He was very proactive with communication, provided clear instructions, and was always responsive. The location of this Airbnb is perfectly in the heart of Saugatuck so everything is close by and easily walkable. We loved this stay for a quick summer weekend getaway.

We absolutely loved the location of this adorable cottage right in town and so walkable to everywhere in Saugatuck. The views were great and the chairs on the patio looking out on the water were so relaxing. The bed was comfy and it had everything we needed. I also loved that they had cable, so we could relax for a bit before bed and not have to try to remember passwords to log into our streaming platforms.

We had a wonderful stay at Lynn’s place. It was a beautiful lake setting with fabulous sunset views! It was very peaceful and walkable. She had everything you would need for a stay. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed s’mores on the back deck by the lake. The country drive there was also neat with many beautiful farm lands. We would definitely stay again!

The views of Lake Michigan from the cottage and from the various decks were amazing. Watched the sunset every night and had the bonus of watching the moon rise and set as well. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a much needed peaceful and relaxing stay!

We loved our stay at the cute cabin! It was just as pictured, was very clean, & had everything we could have needed. When we checked in, there were fresh eggs & local hard cider in the fridge. There were also plenty of movies, games, books, & kids toys stocked around the cabin. The outdoor amenities made this a super fun stay! There is a bar/seating area, a kids playhouse, a lake with a paddleboat and life vests, a ping pong table, a volleyball net, & even a hiking trail! The trail was very fun to explore, & we saw turkeys & a deer on the path. They also have chickens & a very friendly cat on the property. Anne was very accommodating. She provided us with bikes & helmets & offered us a later check-out time. She gave very clear instructions on how to find the property. We met her in-person (she lives on the property) & she was super friendly. The cabin is walking distance from downtown Douglas, a few restaurants, a grocery store, the Dunes Resort, & the Root Beer Barrel.

The property had the lakeshore charm with an absolutely beautiful view! The beach was unbeatable, with soft sand and gorgeous sunsets. The cottage was clean and quaint, perfect for 3 or 4 people, and served our needs well. The cottages are a tad close together, which could potentially be loud if they are all full, but we had no problems with neighbors, noise, or traffic. We'd definitely stay here again to enjoy the beach in the summer.

We used the home for an annual ladies only get away, it was relaxing, beautiful, very clean and had everything we needed including a beautiful hot tub, our host was very responsive to messages, I would recommend it to anyone and will consider it again for a relaxing getaway.

David's place was pristine and the setting was picturesque! The view from the living room was spectacular and the beach was incredible! The kitchen was well equipped and I honestly have no complaints. A few additional details that might be noteworthy to some: - phone was in SOS mode, but the wifi had great coverage and was speedy - as expected, lots of stairs to the beach, I believe it was around 75 steps - the beach had almost no rocks, it was nearly all sand. So if you're looking for a good rock hunting beach, you'll have to go up north to Summit Park, just south of Ludington (~25 min drive, but it was a beautiful drive!)

This cute house was the perfect location for a quick weekend getaway. It was walking distance to the lake and only a 15 minute drive to downtown Holland. The host was also very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend this Airbnb for a trip to Holland!
