The pictures do not do justice! This place is beautiful on the inside and out. Brenda had everything we needed to have a peaceful/relaxing weekend. Every detail was perfect and she was very responsive if we needed her. My fur baby was welcomed with open arms. We will definitely be coming back!

Kathy did an amazing job renovating this property, and we really appreciated all of her personal and special touches, such as the handmade pottery dishes in the kitchen and decorative touches around the house. We are a very crafty family and really appreciated her artistry. It was a very comfortable stay all around, the beds were super comfortable, towels fluffy, and every kitchen amenity we could possibly need was provided. The view from the house is amazing, and it’s a great location on the lake, just a short drive from Montague. We had only wished there was a fire pit next to the house, and not just down at the lake as there were several people in our party who are not able to travel up and down the stairs due to knee issues. Also, if you are a light sleeper I would recommend the upstairs bedrooms, you can hear every footstep upstairs from the basement bedrooms. All in all, Cathy is an excellent host, the house very comfortable and convenient, and we absolutely recommend.

Beautiful lakefront property, plenty of room for a family, nice accommodations and amenities, plus a very friendly, proactive Host. We would love to take advantage of all the opportunities the Gun Lake community provides during the summer months and would definitely return here to stay.

We stayed here with our two dogs and had the best time. The cottage is so cute and clean. It was the perfect size for us. The back yard and deck are great. We saw so many deer! We grilled out every night. The private beach is only a short walk away and we went there a couple times a day. The beach really made the trip for us. It is so perfect and we will definitely be back!

Host was very responsive. The space was really big and the master bed was comfortable. The second bedroom was attached through a shared sitting room. For a Winter stay it was warm and could only imagone how much fun this stay would be in the Summer.

I’ve rented a number of places in this area and Riverdance was very special! The home was clean and well appointed with all you need. Location awesome - everything we like to do (downtown Douglas, downtown Saugatuck, Oval Beach and hiking trails) was 10 mins or less alway. Kitchen well appointed. The star was the pool and we enjoyed it so much! A pool with no fencing between the pool and the river - that is rare and GOLD! Todd was great to deal with and very responsive. Great property, great stay!

I stayed here with my two toddlers (1 and 3), my husband, and my parents. We loved it!! There was a ton of room for us all and Julie has thought of everything - pool floats, k cups, extra toothbrush and mouthwash (for the men in your life that forget), games and toys for kids! The house was extremely clean which is especially nice if you have a crawler still. We want to come back next summer!

Jonah’s place was absolutely perfect for our large group! So many bathrooms, bedrooms, and spaces for everyone to spread out and enjoy the home. We spent most of our time around the gorgeous pool, but the golf simulator was a big hit as well. The beach is well maintained and was perfect for the kids to enjoy during the day, and had a great bonfire space with spare camp chairs for everyone to borrow in the evenings. The kitchen is large with 2 refrigerators and stocked well with almost any cooking necessity you could need. We had one small issue with a breaker tripping, Jonah was incredibly responsive and sent someone out to check it out and fix it within the hour. We will definitely be coming back!

We loved everything about this home - it’s truly a little slice of heaven. The walk down to the private beach was a breeze and the views are unreal from sunrise to sunset. The house itself is huge and well appointed and has plenty of space for group dinners and game nights. Additionally, the host was responsive and very accommodating. We would stay again and again!

This lake house Airbnb is amazing! There’s everything you could need inside and out! Jenny is super friendly and always replied quickly to any communications. The view is breathtaking and it’s so peaceful there. The house is super cozy and comfortable. My group loved everything about it. This house was just as great as the pictures. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the deck and taking in the lake views all day long. The neighborhood is very private and quiet. Also the kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed. As we were traveling with 2 children under the age of 2, we enjoyed having the baby equipment available. The baby gates were very necessary with all the stairs. Jamie was very responsive and easy to work with. You will not be disappointed in this rental.

We got together for a mini family reunion and had a great time at Sound of the Waves. We were right on Lake Michigan with the beach down the stairs, games for the little one at the house, and bookstores, cafes, and fresh food nearby. It was a wonderful relaxing 4 days and Sarah was super helpful with directions (which I failed to follow) and local recommendations. We would highly recommend and would happily return!

We had an unforgettable stay at this incredible waterfront home just a short drive from Muskegon and Lewis Adventure Farm & Zoo! The location is ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet close enough to great family attractions. The kids had a blast at the farm, and we loved coming back to our private lakeside retreat each evening. The house itself is spacious, spotless, and perfectly set up for families. There was more than enough room for everyone to spread out and relax. The amenities were a huge bonus—soaking in the hot tub under the stars, paddling around the lake in the kayaks, and unwinding in the sauna made every day feel like a true vacation. Our hosts were incredibly thoughtful and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth, comfortable stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful, activity-packed getaway that's great for kids and adults alike, this place is a gem. We’re already looking forward to booking again!
