Enjoy your stay in this simple flat in an old house between Hieflau at the Enns river and Eisenerz, the medieval mining town for iron. Listen to the rushing Alpine river Erzbach; climb some peaks in the surrounding Alps or swim in the lake Leopoldsteinersee in a 10km bike ride on a cycle path. Update June 2025: works started to build a water power station on the river below the house. As a result there might be noise between 6:30am and 4pm on weekdays while the river bank is not accessible.

Vacation home: Great location, plenty of space and large garden

Experience special moments in this unique place to stay. Our vacation home is in a quiet location but is still very easily accessible because there is a very good road connection and direct connection to the bike path. Hiking trails into the forest also start right by the house. The house is very spacious and very close to nature inside and out. The spacious garden and terrace area offers tranquility, space and a good view of the adjacent meadows, forests and the farm.

Two fun-loving pensioners rent their cozy home for guests: The lower floor of our two-family house in a rural setting is completely at your disposal. Beautiful garden terrace and garden to chill after … a hike on the Zirbitzkogel … a bike ride on the Mur Cycling Path … an exciting day at the RED BULL Ring (FORMULA 1, MOTO GP, DTM) …or as a relaxing stopover on the way home from the south. Our yurt is hidden at the edge of the forest, offering a place of peace and seclusion. To the south, our summer pastures stretch out, where cows graze and trout leap in the ponds. To the west, our operational building, constructed in 1878, rises up with its historic cider press and adjoining horse stables. The secluded location, combined with our equine-assisted offerings, is perfect for a relaxing retreat in nature, romantic getaways, or extended hikes.

Fall asleep with the murmur of the passing river, sunbathe on our wooden terrace right on the riverbank and take a dip in the outdoor viking tub in all seasons. Equipped for indoor and outdoor cooking, our charming house is hospitable to small and big humans alike, including a modular sauna, private beach and an outdoor cinema!

Here you can relax in the best way possible! The standard occupancy is 5 beds. However, if necessary, two additional emergency beds can be added.
