House vacation rentals in Spianate

A truly wonderful place to stay. The only sounds you’ll hear is the singing of the birds. Extremely clean and stocked with everything you will need. The property is beautiful and the pool is a fantastic way to end your day of exploring. We highly recommend. We know you won’t be disappointed.

This 500 year old house is ideally situated in Tuscany and the Chianti region. It is a perfect place for day trips to other towns, for wine, tasting excursions, and for visiting Florence. The idyllic setting gives you a sense of country life in Italy, and the views from the patio and house are stunning. There are spectacular wineries within 5 to 10 minutes of the house. We found the house very comfortable and enjoyed our stay very very much. Rose and Pier couldn’t have been more helpful in planning our stay and excursions. We found through them fabulous restaurants, and wineries that we would not have discovered on our own. They were also incredibly responsive when we had questions. Our only confusion about the house was that the listing showed three bathrooms, but one was in the laundry room in a separate building . Just something to know. Thank you to Rose for a lovely vacation ! It was the perfect place to explore Tuscany from!

Beautiful place. Clotilde is friendly and helpful. Tranquil large garden and fantastic pool. Great for kids, our one year old loved running around in the grass. Excellent kitchen for cooking at home. Location is very convenient to Lucca and some charming small towns. The Esselunga in Pescia (10 min drive) is one of the best supermarkets I’ve ever seen.

Beautiful property perfect for two families with children. Positive first: Huge clean pool, about 50 sq meters (approximately), depth about 1.2 m. Plenty of space in the house and in front. A great gazebo that protects you from the sun by the pool. The house has everything you need, equipped kitchen, washing machine, dryer, etc. There was no kettle. After I asked the owner if there was a kettle somewhere, it was bought and delivered to our house the next day, so great! You can see that the owner cares about his guests.🙂 Air conditioning in each room works great Baby items: crib, changing table, baby bath Cons - the location of the house does not allow for much walking because it is far from the village - Altopascio ok 3-3.5km, and there is almost no sidewalk, I did not dare to go anywhere with a stroller (but it is also a plus because the yard is full of privacy, actually no neighbors) - the house was cleaned for our arrival, but the floor in the living room was only vacuumed, not washed

We had a wonderful stay overall with Roberto. Really responsive communication and a beautiful villa actually quite a bit bigger than how it looked in the photos. Pros - property gardens and surrounds were perfectly kept and air con works well (not always the case in Italy!) Location was perfect for us as we are very familiar with the area, but close to main walls of Lucca. Only small cons I can think of is - extremely low shower pressure (not uncommon for Italian properties) and maybe having one room for twin beds would be really helpful as we travelled with children. But otherwise amazing stay and great host

Great apartment hosted on a beautiful site with lovely gardens. Peaceful and quiet with a stunning view from the swimming pool area. The apartment had everything we needed and was very clean and homely. Good location to explore the surrounding towns and villages. Very pleasant and helpful host. It was a perfect break for a family with a 7 year old. Would highly recommend.

Bianca is one of the best hosts I ever encountered. She is very friendly, welcoming and social. She is very passionate about her house and guests. She treated us like friends and I think we already became friends for life. Her house is very special, magical, clean and beautiful. Its very spacious felt right at home and had everything we needed. Its private and peaceful yet walking distance from Grassina town down the hill, around 10 minutes walk. The town has everything you need from restaurants to bars, Farmacia, little boutique shops and beauty salons. The location is perfect and outside the city but only 20-30 minutes from Florence. I am defiantly coming back to this place.

We were there from May 31 to June 13, 2025. A great stay in a beautiful authentic house, with a pool in the spacious garden. Car was inside the lockable gate. That's nice. Stefania is a friendly and cordial host. She responds very quickly when you send a message. Thank you for that. There is nothing to complain about for us, highly recommended! Maddie and Peter

Our stay was simply fantastic! The place was beautifully located, very neat and tastefully decorated. The large pool in particular was a highlight – ideal for relaxing and refreshing on warm days. The surroundings were quiet and offered magnificent views of the Tuscan countryside. Cristina was a fantastic host – warm, helpful and always available. We felt comfortable from the first moment.

My husband and I had the great pleasure of spending 8 days at this beautiful Airbnb. Truly, this is the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in, and we travel a lot! With big intentions to explore the Tuscan area we essentially did nothing and stayed put. Why? It's just that beautiful. The view is spectacular, and the accommodations are very comfortable. The hosts have provided everything you need for a deep relaxing holiday. Of course if you choose to explore, there is much to see and do in the local area. We rented the house with a larger group of friends and were really very enthusiastic. The house has a beautiful location in great nature! There is nothing to complain about with the amenities. Overall a great vacation in a great house!

Giuliana's days and nights were simply fantastic! We visited Pisa and Florence from the property - everything was easy to reach! We would recommend Guiliana and visit her again and again. She is so accommodating and simply a good-hearted person!

Andrea en Simone, Are very welcoming, the location is a smal walk but with good directions easy to find. Palaia and the accommodation has amazed us, with a amazing home away from home. Great facilities, terrace, jacuzzi, pool, and not to forget amazing views. As a base to explore there is alot of interesting places to go to witin a hour drive. big cities, smaller towns, wineries, and with a tiny bit extra travelling time the sea. This house is the perfect place for two families traveling together. It’s incredibly cozy, thoughtfully designed, and fully equipped with amenities that let you truly enjoy the beauty of the Tuscan countryside. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The hosts went above and beyond — welcoming us with fresh fruit, traditional sweets, bottled water, coffee, milk, and a selection of Tuscan wines, which we truly appreciated. They also provided high-quality Italian hygiene products, which added a thoughtful and luxurious touch to our stay. One of the highlights for us was the host’s responsiveness. Communication was always fast, helpful, and friendly — a detail that made a big difference. We didn’t get a chance to use the private pool due to our tight schedule, but the property still gave us a real sense of independence, comfort, and safety. I 100% recommend this property. Beautiful property with warm, welcoming hosts. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and everything is tastefully decorated The kitchen is fully equipped, perfect for cooking meals at home. The pool was a great temperature, immaculately clean, and came with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The entire setting is peaceful and relaxing, yet only a 35-minute drive to Siena and 50 minutes to Florence. We especially loved watching the sunset at the nearby five-star Belmond hotel. We went for drinks at 7pm, enjoyed live music, and were surrounded by the heavenly scent of jasmine. There is no air conditioning but the fans were absolutely fine! Another highlight was La Speranza, a gorgeous deli serving excellent coffee, pastries, cheese, and wine. They kindly spoke English when we got stuck and made us feel so welcome.

We spent 6 days in a cozy place, tastefully decorated. Allessandra and Égizia were very welcoming and very concerned about our well-being. If we return to this area, we'll be sure to get back in touch. Good compromise for visiting Florence. Beautiful Pistoia region.

I would give 10 stars if possible! What a wonderful Airbnb - one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful and clean house, and so peaceful with breathtaking views and in a fantastic village with lots of walking as well as a sweet little restaurant and a handy shop which was open from early until late. A very easy drive to Lucca and lots of other sweet villages in the hills. We also did a fantastic hike right from the front door. The kitchen and bathroom were very thoughtfully equipped and the BBQ was an excellent bonus. Elisa and Roberto were so lovely and helpful. I would recommend this to anyone - and may even return myself one day so I can sit on that beautiful terrace and take in those views again.
