Highland Cabin in the heart of Cairngorms

AnneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The chalet was absolutely spotless and everything as new. It was extremely comfortable and so well equipped with everything you need and much more. The quality of the crockery and glassware and utensils was of a very high standard which makes self catering a wee bit more special!. Lovely quiet site within walking distance of hotel and restaurants. Furniture on decking just lovely and a barbecue a bonus.Unfortunately it was a bit of a wet weekend so didnt get used.Bedding spotless and again good quality. Wi fi more rapid than at home! An excellent place to stay. Safe decking for dogs and nice area just across from park where the dogs could get a wee run in the woods. Plenty boardgames etc for children( and adults) to play. Host Zoe was an excellent corresponder though we had no reason to contact her once there. Photos do not do the chalet justice. It was just a perfect break in lovely surroundings inside and outside chalet.

Highland Cottage

MikeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely fantastic, we immediately felt relaxed the minute we walked through the door, and after a 14 hour journey that's exactly what we needed, the cottage is tucked away so no unwanted traffic buzzing around, so cozy and comfortable, it was like home from home, we had everything we needed. The local shops are just a few minutes walk from the property, the Co-op can cater for full shop if needed, and the bakery and butchers shops were brilliant with amazing produce, everyone was so friendly and helpful happy to chat. The area is stunningly beautiful with the Cromdale hills surrounding the town that's situated within the Cairngorm national park, there is so much to do locally, and further away, you will not be disappointed. Our host Alex was brilliant, from start to finish we couldn't have wished for a better host, great response, fantastic communication throughout, we will be booking with Alex for all of our trips to Scotland as it is just perfect for us.

Cnoc cabin, Glenlivet

NataliaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Myself and partner stayed here over the weekend and had an amazing time. Paul went above and beyond by preparing balloons, banners, and a card for my partners birthday. The cabin was really cosy and views in the morning and evening were beautiful. We were both sad to leave. Can’t wait to come back again!

Stylish Cottage in the heart of the Cairngorms

MalloryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! It is cozy and beautifully decorated with lots of charm. The group agreed that the beds were very comfy and plenty big. And amenities were exactly what we needed. It was our home away from home for 4 days and we couldn't have been happier. We used it as a jumping off point for many of the Highlands destinations so did quite a bit of driving from there as Inverness is ~45 minutes away, Loch Ness ~60 minutes, and Skye/Portree is ~3 hours, but we squeezed it all in. It was also nice being so close to Cairngorms National Park too. It was a great spot to travel around and see many of Scotland's beautiful sights and we really enjoyed our time there.

Resaurie - a tranquil retreat

PaulRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a lovely 4 nights here. It’s the most peaceful and tranquil place we’ve ever stayed, and exactly what we wanted. The place was spotless and tidy when we arrived and the kitchen is exceptionally well stocked with all the utensils you could need. It’s also not too far from amenities, and it was easy to get to Carr Bridge, Grantown on Spey and Aviemore. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough!

Cosy modern cabin- Carrbridge, near Aviemore

RichardRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a perfect stay! Laura was a charming host, very welcoming and full of local knowledge. The bothy was so comfortable, spacious spotless, and had everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the fireplace in the evenings. The highlight for me was lying in bed watching a gorgeous red squirrel out the window! The location is beautiful, with woodland walks across the road. I loved walking down the road in the evenings, and saw squirrels and plenty of deer! Joining the walk up into the mountains to meet the reindeer herd was one of the best things I have ever experienced. Wish we had spent more than four nights. Thanks, Laura
