House vacation rentals in Spanish Wells

Location, Location, Location. Unreal. The house is dated and needs work, the power goes out sometimes and you might lose hot water. If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton, this isn't it, but if you want a once-in-a-lifetime experience, highly recommend it. The access to the water, sound of the atlantic ocean crashing in the background and beautiful wildlife all around you. We will return. Brenda was a great host and made it her job to ensure we had a great time.

This house was perfect for my short stay. It was very clean and an comfortable for the group of people there. The pool was a nice way to cool off in the afternoon and the decks around the house were also an added touch for beautiful scenery and relaxation no matter what time of day. It is close to Gregory town which has some grocery stores and restaurants and beach’s are in driving distance.

Wonderful stay at Sugar Apple! The house is clean and spacious. Having the pool was nice at the end of the day! Close to many beaches and not far from governors harbour. Second time renting this home and won’t be our last!

The house was immaculate upon arrival. lots of space. wonderful central location, so it was easy get to the popular sights. The pool was a welcome sight after the hots days.

Paradise! We visited Eleuthera 3 years ago and spent the day at Rainbow Beach. All day we admired the Sayle Point House. We were so excited that it was available when we planned our next trip. There is new construction, but I believe you will still feel like you're on you're own private island. We visited a few spots and kept coming back to the house thinking why did we venture out. We enjoyed our morning walks around the property and it provided amazing snorkeling opportunities in the backyard. We hope to visit again soon!

Gorgeous - as always! Beautiful airy house with enough bedrooms (and bathrooms!!) to keep us out of each other's hair when needed. The pool! And ability to walk right out the yard and over to the beach. THE OUTDOOR bathroom and SHOWER- still my favorite thing about the house after multiple trips. It's just a PERFECT place to stay when you have 2+ people. Centrally located, private as can be while still right in the middle of it all. And Rachel is, as always, an impeccable host!

We loved our stay at Come and Go Villa! The home is beautiful and hosts were very responsive. House has everything and more. Great location to explore sites north and south around the island. We will be back!

Our family of 4 had an amazing stay at Rainbow Charm. Our 2 teenagers loved the pool, jumping off the rocks, the hammocks. We have been to Eleuthera 5 times and this is our fav rental when bringing the kids ! The location is great for both north and south beaches/restaurants. We felt safe ( as usual in Eleuthera ) and Chris really knows what guests want at a vacation rental. We didn’t need to reach out to David the caretaker but we did meet him at Mel’s Snack Shack and he’s lovely! We are rebooking the home for our fall trip!

Loved the place! Super nice and unbelievable location right on the beach. We had two houses rented but, we cooked most all our meals here relaxed under the huge covered rear patio. Very impressed!

We loved our stay! House was exactly as described and a perfect vacation! The house was stocked with all of our needed kitchen utensils, beach towels and beach chairs. Absolutely loved the upstairs enclosed deck area with chairs! Will definitely be back!

The Bahamas Beach House was a great stay. It’s an extremely charming and homey beach vibe - even better than the photos, in our opinion - with best-in-class beach access. Like all houses on the island, it’s a little worn around the edges and suffers from predictable challenges of grit and bugs. But it was the perfect space for our family with a kid-friendly layout and ample room to host a few friends indoors and out. If we make it back to Spanish Wells, we would definitely book this place again!

Kissafish played a HUGE role for us in experiencing the charm and beauty of Spanish Wells and the Bahamas. The house was absolutely perfect (there were 4 of us - 2 couples), especially the wide open kitchen/living space that provided exceptional views of the dunes, and beyond to the crazy assortment of greens, blues and tans of the ocean. The deck also provided fabulous views of the seascape, but it set the stage for viewing the night sky and glorious sunrises. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable; bathrooms clean and tidy. Down at the end of a dead end street, Kissafish was a peaceful retreat, but still close enough for easy access to the Food Fair and other island shops. Communication with the owner and property manager were excellent; they were very quick in responding to all our questions. We’re hoping a stay at Kissafish becomes an annual event.

Howard was great with communication and setting up our golf cart rental and transportation from the airport. Donna met us at the docks, she showed us to the house and gave us a tour. The house was beautiful and the view is exceptional. It was a great location and had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely be planning a trip back.

We absolutely loved our stay at On The Rocks for our family vacation with a 1 year old. The house is decorated beautifully and was super clean with fresh bedding. If you're looking for a place to truly unplug, this is the place. The view is stunning and the local beach is a short walk away. We couldn't believe we got an entire beach to ourselves! The house was well stocked and had everything we needed, which made it easy to pack light. It is definitely remote – which is a amazing if you're looking for peace and quiet, but might not be for you if you're looking for something close to hustle and bustle of a town. The road in from the highway took about 10 minutes to get to the house. There are a handful of restaurants under a 20 minute drive and we enjoyed meals at El Karaka, Big Daddy's, and The Cove. We also did day trips to Harbour Island and French Leave beach (would recommend Tippy's as a place to spend an afternoon). We'd highly recommend On the Rocks or Due South!

Island Wave is fantastic. We’ve stayed there a few times now. We love the location right on the beach. Great hosts make this a top place to stay.

Although a short stay, it was a great stay. We found the video for the beach super helpful and the rental provided all we needed.

As they say . . . Eleuthera is not for everyone. This is a completely off the grid property. With that comes a certain understanding that not everything may be available on demand. However, we had plenty of water, Wi-Fi and electricity for 6 people. This was a wonderful trip and location. So secluded, so peaceful and so interesting. A true gem on ELH. Turtles and various fish visited the dock regularly. The breeze was God sent. No need for A/C. Rooms were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. The grounds were very well maintained and beautiful. Stars at night were plentiful. Awesome beach about a 10 min walk through a well-maintained path. The host was friendly, responsive and accommodating. What more can I say. Fantastic trip and adventure.

Pink Sands cottage is located in an ideal location. Short walk to the beach and you are there in seconds. This beach is one of prettiest I’ve ever seen. Shallow clear blue pristine water and you can walk out into the ocean quite a distance. At the end of the street on located on water way you can rent kayaks and tour through the mangroves. We saw a manatee and dolphins! Lindy’s food truck, Eagles Landing restaurant and the grocery store are all in walking distance. Don’t forget to rent a golf cart. It’s the ideal mode of transportation. We loved the out door shower and our group used that the entire time.

Blue Moon was an absolutely amazing right on the Beach at Gaulding Cay Beach. There are no other rentals directly on the beach here. The water was amazing crystal clear just a few steps through the coconut tree. (Not many bugs) We used the SUP and double kayak one afternoon. And everyday we snorkeled the rock everyday. Hanging out listening to the water and coconut trees in a hammock was extremely relaxing. The house has loads of books and a great collection of art. Daddy Joes was just a short walk down the road. Gregory town is just a 4 minute ride in the car. We are looking forward to our next stay. I am dreaming about that beach and hammock!!

Just a fantastic home in a beautiful part of the island. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need, and there are so many areas to spread out and activities to keep you busy that you will never get bored. Dee was excellent at helping us obtain a rental car, as well as introducing us to Horatio who made us a wonderful meal one night. While we didn’t get to explore as much of Eleuthera as we had anticipated, we were able to see many spectacular beaches within a 20-30 min drive in either direction. We’re already planning our trip back!

We miss it already! What a gorgeous home, that’s clean and homely with a lovely open living space. It’s less than a 5 minute drive from the most beautiful (and child friendly) beach, Rainbow Bay. In terms of convenience stores, you’re not walking distance to anything but easy to jump in the car and in 10 minutes you have a few options on Queens Highway. Lauren the host couldn’t have been more helpful and any questions we had she was really quick to respond. We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Angelika’s place. We had some travel plans change and Angelika was very flexible and accommodating. Early checkin was possible due to the travel changes. There was a beautiful welcome basket on arrival. The views of the Caribbean were stunning and the small cove in front of the Airbnb is a quick 2 minute walk down the hill. Wonderful snorkeling right there. The Airbnb was spotless, well designed, and felt like home. The house has everything you need and more like washer/dryer, well equipped kitchen, coolers, beach towels and extra towels, makeup towels, good A/C, and bath robes to name a few and the list goes on. Angelika was very responsive and had excellent recommendations on what to see, restaurants nearby, and beaches to visit. The roads are a little rough on Eleuthera, but the untouched gorgeous remote beaches are worth it. Very quiet and private place perfect for a relaxing beach vacation. Water pressure was a bit low, but always had good hot water.
