Cottage vacation rentals in Sovicille

Davide and Annalisa's cottage was absolutely gorgeous, exactly as the pictures showed. It was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy our last week in Italy. Breakfast out on the patio with the birds chirping and surrounded by nature was a great way to start the day. Davide lit the heater for the hot tub for us and we were able to enjoy a wonderful evening relaxing. Davide and Annalisa were full of good recommendations for restaurants and local places to visit. The cottage is within driving distance of so much - Pisa, Florence, Siena and of course San Gimignano just to name a few. All the amenities we needed were included, the WIFI was great and the cottage was very comfortable. I would highly recommended staying here and if we are ever in the vicinity we would certainly stay here again.

We stayed at the wonderful Fontanaro villa in the village of Paciano, and it was truly a soul-refreshing experience. Lucia is an incredibly caring host, and Pam, who looked after our stay, was a real treasure. She not only provided excellent recommendations on places to visit but also took care of reservations, ensuring we had nothing to worry about. This was not just an ordinary stay; it was a unique experience. We had the opportunity to participate in an olive oil tasting and a cooking class—both activities left an indelible impression. The villa we stayed in was not only stunningly beautiful but also boasted an impressive wine cellar with an extraordinary collection. Overall, our stay at Fontanaro villa exceeded all expectations. It was more than just accommodation—it was an experience we will never forget.

What a great place to stay. Everything we needed during our stay was available, from a cot for our baby to an iron and a full kitchen etc. The location was great for Tuscany, with Siena, Montelpulciano and others an easy drive away. The pool was just what we needed in the afternoons to cool down and relax after spending our mornings out and about. We hosted a dinner with family in the large dining table overlooking the pool, a lovely end to our stay at a superb family spot.

Complete accommodation and very well-equipped. Its private terrace offers very good tranquility. Daniela and Alberto are very welcoming and friendly. 20 minutes to the most beautiful beaches in Tuscany! Grazie Daniela and Alberto!🙂

This place is truly a 10/10. I’ve stayed at dozens of BNBs over this year and I have to say that this is one of my absolute favorites. Every detail, from the decor to the cleanliness to the nature to the spaciousness, is phenomenal. I cannot recommend this place highly enough! One thing to keep in mind is that it’s nestled quite far into the mountains so whenever we went on day trips like to Pienza or Pitigliano, it was always around an hour drive or more.

If you want to experience the Tuscany of your dreams, then this is the place to stay! The pictures are accurate but do not do justice to the beauty you will experience. Birds chirping and bees buzzing around the fragrant jasmine and roses bring peace and calm as you gaze out over the olive grove to the surrounding hillsides with views of Pienza, other towns and a retired monastery. Frank and Phil are incredibly gracious hosts and will not steer you wrong with recommendations, including wonderful restaurants, beautiful churches and abbeys, and wineries. The garden cottage is quite private and you will have no intrusions. Sitting on the patio with a glass of wine, some local cheese, and a good book was our favorite escape.

What a fantastic cottage overlooking the valley (UNESCO heritage). Super quiet area, within walking distance of a nice village with various possibilities. We had a great time here and would book it again in a heartbeat!!

What a fabulous place - if you want to escape from it all, this is the place to come! Love the private pool too! Air conditioning in the bedroom was very good and appreciated. Olga and Max were very accommodating and answered questions very quickly. Maybe consider installing a BBQ outside the house otherwise could not fault it and we cannot wait to return!

The farmhouse among the olive trees is an oasis of peace, we had a very good time as a group of four with our two dogs in absolute tranquility and with a spectacular view of the hills. There is everything you need in the house. Thank you so much Federica and family

We had a pleasant stay at Vito's. The house is very well arranged and offers many amenities. The place is idyllic surrounded by olive groves and high up allowing exceptional views of Tuscany. The pool is simply fantastic, spacious and extremely well maintained thanks to Vito's right-hand man who takes great care of the entire property. This is a property to remember that we highly recommend.

This casa is an absolutely spectacular place to stay when in Tuscany - I was amazed by the photos, but in real life the place is somehow even more beautiful and scenic! The hosting is absolutely faultless - we were made to feel right at home immediately with homemade treats, and every arrangement we needed was made super smoothly. Utterly perfect - this was our first introduction to Tuscany and we will remember it forever!

The property was beautiful amd loved the scenery and friendly animals such as the donkeys and horse which greeted us each night. Serena and Mario were exellent hosts and made us feel at home at welcomed. We enjoyed a home cooked dinner with a view and breakfast. Very comfortable rustic farmhouse accomodations. Highly recommend and would love to go back as it is close to all in Tuscany.

We stayed here with our two young adult daughters. The home and the views are just magical! The home was well stocked and provided everything we needed. It very peaceful and quiet. The grounds are stunning and well kept! Only a 15 minute drive to the town of Pienza which had some of the best local restaurants. The pool was very nice to enjoy on a hot summer day with a glass of Rose in hand. We we would stay here again in a heartbeat! You will not be disappointed!

This was one of the most relaxing vacations we've had in a long time! Everything was fantastic, both the location of the place and the place itself. We would have liked to have stayed several weeks!

Laura is the perfect host and the house is really amazing: very large and stylish, with a nice private garden and pool area. The best rental place ever!

My husband and I stayed two nights in the Chestnut Dryer of the Podere di Maggio. What can I say? A real paradise: nestled in a wonderful valley with Mount Amiata in front of it and the beautiful medieval village of Santa Fiora. We could not ask for more: wonderful structure, well cared for, in detail, priceless peace. The hosts were great, hospitable, and really made us feel at home. In short, everything is perfect, nothing is missing, of course you have to love bucolic life like us ! The only downside? Two nights were too short and we'll definitely be back . We had a great time at Antonello's place. He is very welcoming, despite the fact that he only speaks Italian, and German, if I'm not mistaken. It was very understandable that we were arriving earlier than the scheduled time. We were able to drop off our luggage and the food we brought from our previous home. When we returned, we were pleasantly surprised to see that he had transferred everything to our rental and even put our bottles in the fridge🤩. The pool is superb, at very good temperature, and the sunbeds available, are comfortable, there is even a shower, which is very good. You can eat outdoors, in the shade, there are different spaces at your disposal. In summary, we can say that we had a great stay, in a beautiful environment, quiet, tastefully furnished. You have to plan to come by car, if you want to visit....

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The cottage and gardens are beautiful and stylishly designed. Leonardo was also a lovely and accommodating host. The local town was approx a 20min walk away with a small supermarket and some lovely restaurants. We recommend Pomario winery for their wine tasting and charcuterie and also Slow Cooking school for a cooking class which is about 25min drive away from the cottage. A local hotel in the area, hotel Vanucci, was also a great place to grab breakfast or for late evening drinks after dinner. Highly recommended booking this beautiful place.

We spent two and a half wonderful weeks in this holiday home. Both Andrea from Be Home Services and in particular the owners Nara and Nino welcomed us warmly and were always available for questions and very helpful. We liked the secluded location of the house very much - you have a stunning panoramic view and it is largely very quiet despite the neighbors. It should be known that the nearby Villa Ulignano is used as a wedding location. On two weekends, there was live music until the early hours of the morning, which was clearly audible, but did not bother us excessively. It is worth mentioning that the lower floor shown on the exterior shots of the house cannot be used, but serves as a storage room for the owners. The drive to the house is - as already described here - quite adventurous and leads a few kilometers over unpaved, partly steep paths. If you drive slowly, this is easy to cope with.

From the moment we arrived, your warmth and generosity was simply wonderful.When we saw our incredible welcome platters, so beautifully presented with Tuscan delights and homegrown herbs & flowers,it meant so much! Everything you did,was above and beyond what any other hosts had ever done Absolutely nothing was missing. Luna took our hearts from the moment we met her; her daily visits/rolling over for tummy rubs, gave us such joy. When you both went out,within minutes shewould come &. lie peacefully on our terrace,joining us as we enjoyed looking for hours at the absolutely beautiful view. We treasured our times chatting with you -especially the last night when we watched those incredible fireflies giving us an evening of their display!Ally,for lending me those cookbooks & for your infinite kindness,& Bob,for always helping us with any queries..a hugeheartfelt thankyou!Our love to you.Please keep in touch
