The place is located at the Marina in Penang - a nice spot of its own with restaurants, entertainment and a small mall. The apartment is equipped and suitable for short term and outgoing guests enjoying a marina lifestyle with waterfront, bars and restaurants. The place has a spacious balcony to enjoy the view over the marina site and its strolling visitors. Some construction work has started for creating an additional island across the marina with a slight visual impact on the view from the apartment.

The unit was superb with spacious rooms and also private tub. My kids really enjoyed it.

it is a great experience staying at Alvin's place. It is a heritage house, full with characters. my family and I also want an Airbnb which is bigger than a hotel room and has privacy. This place exceeded our expectations. The place is easy to find, there are a lot of good restaurants nearby(Alvin also gives good recommendations!) Alvin is a very accommodating and proactive host. I would love to come back to stay with Alvin again! lastly, Penang is amazing 😍

Our stay at Cecilia's condo was for 2 months, so it quickly became our little home away from home. Everything met our expectations as per the description of the condo. The bed and livingroom furniture are comfy and the kitchen is well stocked with supplies and cookware. We used the stove daily for light cooking and there are two fridges which helps if you stock up on groceries. We loved the nature surrounding this condo and the regular visits by the monkeys. They instantly became the highlight of our stay, for sure. The sea view is also beautiful. There were plenty of cargo and cruise ships to watch, as well as the fishing boats that arrive early every morning. We chose not to rent a car. This location is very doable without one. We used Grab to get to and from Georgetown for shopping and touristy things. Overall, Cecilia's home is a wonderful stay for anyone looking for a natural setting, quiet, and of course monkeys! We had a fabulous 5 week stay in Daniel's apartment at Jazz Service Suites. The apartment is really well laid out and even bigger than it looks in the photos, with amazing views. It was perfectly set up for a long stay, with a well appointed kitchen, washing machine and tumble dryer. Daniel was really friendly, helpful, and responded to all our queries quickly. The outdoor pool was great for our daily swim, with a kids pool and a few loungers. We didn't try the gym but it seemed popular. The surrounding buildings do cause a shadow across the pool area at times during the day, but there is always somewhere in the sunshine to sit if you wish. Tesco Lotus is just across the road, plus Sam's Groceries at Straits Quay (5 mins walk) for a more international choice. There is a food court underneath Lotus, lots of restaurants at Straits Quay, and the bus stop to Georgetown is only a few mins walk away. So overall an excellent location.

Nice place, great view. Lots good food nearby, and a few little night markets with good food (one by the nearby Lotus). A bit far from Georgetown but a 20min Grab will get you there. If you want to stay a little out of the hustle and bustle this is a great choice. Also low traffic and open areas to run (good place to prep for Penang Bridge Marathon) if that's something you are looking for.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The location is great. It is close to the city and other major places. Moreover, the host is friendly and very helpful. She made us feel like a home. We definitely would love to come back.

Where to begin? What an absolutely stunning colonial home in a perfect location. Shawn and co were amazing with communication, the self check-in was well explained and super straightforward. Very easy to find the property too. The house itself is beautiful, plenty of space, very tastefully decorated, and comes equipped with everything you need for your stay. A big bonus is the outside seating area, garden, and wet kitchen area. Lots of nice places to eat nearby, and a very short grab ride to the beach, shopping malls, and Georgetown. Honestly one of the nicest places we’ve stayed during our travels around Malaysia, wouldn’t hesitate to come back here next time we’re in Penang. We stayed here for a month and had a great time. The beach view was great and we had live music from the beach bars and fireworks each night (for more than 4 weeks). Maybe that had to do with Chinese New Year, but it actually went on after CNY as well. Communication was excellent, there was a helpful representative who was almost always nearby and ready to assist with some very small issues we had. The security guys were very friendly to our kids and would accept packages that were delivered for us when we were out. The only significant point of improvement I see is that a bit more attention should be paid to the cleaning.

great location, great little flat with everything you'll need

We had an overall great experience staying at the Batu Ferringhi apartment in Penang. The apartment was clean, spacious, and came with a beautiful sea view that made our stay truly relaxing. The location was also perfect , close to the beach and local eateries. The host was responsive and check-in was smooth. However, we did notice that the pillows had an unpleasant smell, which could be improved for a more comfortable stay. Other than that, everything else was lovely and we would definitely consider returning!

The host is very helpful, responsive, and friendly. Check-in was easy, and the place is clean and tidy. I enjoyed the home theater, but some items in the house could use replacing. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

We came as a family of 6 with a teenager, tweens and a kid, and the house is perfect for us. Our son sleeps outside, using the extra mattress, with cozy linens and all. Air cond, fans and heater works well. We brought simple food to cook for breakfast and supper, and the washing machine and dryer were very useful. Gana was a responsive and accommodating host. Check in and check out were simple; the guards and cleaners working there already knew what to do and they assisted us with getting the keys. It is a prefect stay if you have a large family and planning to stay longer than a couple of days. Will definitely come back in the future.

Very clean and comfort

Excellent home at a very affordable price. Very clear, detailed, step by step check in instructions. Close to restaurants and grocery. Convenience store in the same building. Ping pong table, gym and pool available until 10 pm. 3 AC units, one in the living room and one in each bedroom. Host was quick to respond and helpful. Night market on Fridays is just at the corner of the street and is a must for food and street purchases! Thanks!
