**★★★★★ Exceptional Hospitality – A Truly Welcoming Experience!** I recently had the pleasure of staying at RumahKu ,and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the owner’s warm hospitality. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable, thoughtful, and memorable—whether it was , e.g., "the personalized welcome greeting ," "helpful local tips," and “the extra attention to detail", most importantly feel like your own home. The kindness and generosity extended by the owner made all the difference, turning a great experience into an exceptional one. It’s rare to find such heartfelt hospitality, and I highly recommend rumahku to anyone looking for a place where you’re treated like family. Thank you so much for your kindness—I look forward to returning!

We stayed 4 days 3 night at Cheeleong place and it was a nice experience of old house vibe. Check in was smooth and easy thanks for Chee Leong for allowing us to come in early around 130pm. The place has its own charm but not to everyone liking is presume.. as the old wall crack, old wooden door, old glass panel window create the ambient of actual old house in Penang. All basic amenities provided, ample space for everything. The bedroom upstairs is huge with seating area and the bed is comfy enough for 2 of us. The place is located at the heart of georgetown and easy access to everywhere via foot or short car ride. Don’t expect hotel level services or condition if you decided to booked here as the house its actual old building in Penang. Well recommended place for people who appreciate heritage and architecture of old building.

Chulia Corner, Georgetown Unesco Heritage, Penang

This is a charming nostalgic shop house with true Georgetown spirit. While historic, modern things like the RIVA Turbo Bluetooth speaker in the living room was a nice surprise. Also great photography books of old and modern Georgetown and wider Penang complemented our own explorations. The bed is very comfortable as is the sofa for relaxing and reading, and the kitchen is well equipped for home food prep. For showering there's nice towels and body shampoo too. The WiFi is good and strong no matter what part of the house you are in. Above all else: the central location is perfect for exploring Georgetown in every direction. For all arrangements the host Ron is great at providing information to make everything run smoothly.

Very cute traditional little house ! Plenty of rooms and space for a big group. Close to shops and night market and an easy grab away to the airport. Be aware though that the stairs are a bit steep, and the ac is a bit lacking but hey it's an old house.
