We had such a lovely stay at the Potting Shed. The location was beautiful- so peaceful and picturesque. The Airbnb was cosy and the bed was extremely comfy. We were there in 30 degree heat but it was lovely and cool inside. Would highly recommend and would love to come back one day and stay again!

Dunstone Cottage

TanyaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What an amazing stay! It was everything we were hoping for and more. The cottage had everything we needed and also some nice personal touches too. It was so relaxing sitting in the hot tub, listening and watching the birds . The weather was a little unsettled for us but not a problem, as we could sit in the summer house, and look out at the lovely view and our neighbours the sheep! Claire was very responsive with messaging and will look forward to visiting again soon. 🙂

‘The Nest’ A beautiful cottage in Devon

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Our family of five, which includes three adult children, thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Nest. It is as pictured and described and spotlessly clean. We stayed for 3 nights, which included a wedding at a nearby venue, spending time in all the different areas of the cottage, and going for a lovely circular walk from the door. Many thanks Sarah

Charming Stone Cottage: Hot Tub, Games Room

MartynRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Very well appointed and great for a family, we had an 18 month old with us. The games room is a little gimmicky but was fun along with all the board games as we had a little one with us so adds a little to the stay along with the hot tub and beautiful garden as couldn’t pop to the pub in the evening. There is also a cache of cars which our daughter loved to play with, it was these nice little touches that made a difference. Some great recommends from the host and the local area is handy and beautiful with a play park just a 10 min walk away. Recommend the Rose and Crown pub on a sunny day, 15-20minute walk, garden is great and little slide for kids. Traffic is the only downside to the area really but the house is nestled away from it all.

Abbey View Cottage - Scandi Hot Tub - EV Charging

ChristopherRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Ok, if you are looking at this cottage and wondering whether to book it....just do it, stop wondering. You can thank me later. The quiet hits you first, only birdsong and the sound of the breeze through the trees. A genuinely beautiful, tranquil cottage, simply but lovingly presented with all the things you need. A kitchen with stove/oven, fridge, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee maker. A spotless shower room, and a separate lavatory complete with wash basin. The lovely large bed, comfortable chairs, table and bookcase all highlight the time and effort the hosts have spent creating something special. Hot tub ? Yes, very private and very relaxing too. The hosts had fired up the wood burner so that when we arrived the water was nice and toasty, perfect to enjoy the sweeping view to the valley below. (Bring flip flops or crocs as the path to the hot tub has an area of gravel). In short, we have absolutely loved time here. Many thanks Rhys & Lizzie for making it possible.

Luxury, rural Piggery, near Sidmouth Beach

DebraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Claire was very pleasant and helpful. The Piggery is an amazing place to stay. We knew if a problem had arisen we could contact her easily. We tended to cook at The Piggery in the evening and found lots of very useful utensils in the kitchen to make dinner. Very good kitchen appliances and an extremely comfortable bed. Our Daushaund enjoyed the toys Claire had thoughtfully put in a basket for visiting dogs - even a box for doggy poo bags! The bathroom was fabulous, especially the walk in shower. The bed was extremely comfortable and we loved the automatic blinds and windows. The scenery surrounding The Piggery is beautiful and very relaxing and peaceful. Sidmouth and Exmouth were both easy to get to, with the beach at Exmouth being sandy. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful thatched cottage near award winning pub

RebeccaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a wonderful stay at the cottage over Christmas. Glenda gave great directions and check in instructions, with dinning recommendations. She was very helpful throught the stay. The cottage was perfect, it was exactly as the photos, stylish, welcoming and luxurious. We didn't want to leave. Glenda had also gone the extra mile with lots of fabulous touches. We felt so welcome and the were overwhelmed with the gorgeous Christmas decorations, a lovely surprise. It was also well appointed, so many thoughtful details. We loved the butter dishes, lamps and artwork. Everything was very considered, clean and comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. Great location and brilliant pizzas at the pub, just a walk away. There was a little park for the boys and the local shop in the neighbouring village was well stocked. We loved it and would love to stay again. Fantastic break, thank you so much. The perfect cottage escape.

Pretty cottage for quiet getaway

SamanthaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Lovely rustic country cottage in fabulously peaceful surroundings. Great location for numerous walks and a short drive away from the coast. Very comfortable accommodation with all facilities required, superb shower and spacious rooms. TV was sporadic in reception, through internet, but we didn’t watch it that much so not an issue. Very friendly village pub just a short walk away and everywhere was dog friendly. Highly recommended, we had a great stay.

Thatched Cottage by Lulworth Cove & Durdle Door

DeborahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Nut Cottage was a perfect location for us. We were able to walk to both Lulworth Cove and the Durdle Door, two of the sites that we came to see. There were also lovely restaurants within walking distance (we didn't have a car). Sam and Katie were very responsive hosts when we had questions and they provided a list of helpful (and great) restaurants for us to try. They also gave us a heads up to reserve ahead, which I am so glad we did!

Cheerful and cosy two bedroom cottage

JanRating, 5 stars2 days ago
A wonderfully peaceful place to stay. You can walk out down the lanes and also find fingerpost routes to explore. There are brooks and streams and fords to cross. Suzanne's cottage is spacious and very well appointed. I had every pan and utensil to prepare a meal. The shower was excellent and easy to use. The beds were so comfortable. We thoroughly explored Sidmouth and had an excellent meal in the Anchor pub. We ate from the blackboard specials fresh fish options. In Seaton we opted for Pisano and the staff were exceptional. You will need to book for the popular restaurants in the evening. Budleigh Salterton in a lovely place to wander round and we ate in Wesley's café , which was a lovely friendly place. We would love to stay again.

Luxurious studio for two with spectacular views

PhilRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Simply wow, this has to be the best Airbnb around! At the end of a country lane is heaven in Devon. Ruth's place is a large studio, perfect for a couple to escape from the city into the peace of the countryside. It's very well appointed for self catering, either in the kitchen or the barbecue area. Everything has been thought about and taken care of. From welcome touches like the pint of milk in the fridge, through to the custom official Ordnance Survey map shows a level of thought, care and perfection I've never seen before. Staying here felt like staying at your own luxury home where you have everything you need, but without any trace of the feeling of clutter some other places can have when they're full of your host's possessions. The hosts afford you total privacy, there if you need anything or want to chat, but leave your to your stay. We ate breakfast on the balcony overlooking the beautiful garden, and had a couple of barbecues down on the patio late into the evening.

Bluebell Grey, in the heart of rural Somerset.

AndreaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We booked a last minute mini break to Bluebell grey, enjoying visits to the beach during the day followed by relaxed evenings back at the cottage playing badminton and boules in the garden. As the evening light faded we settled down inside the cosy cottage with a gin and tonic or two playing cards around the table, feeling relaxed and comfortable. Thank you Michael for being so responsive with our last minute booking and for being so accommodating with an earlier check in time and equally relaxed with a later departure time. I will hold that lovely evening view across the fields in my memory. Thank you
