Townhome vacation rentals in Southern France

We spent two nights with my husband at Guillaume's apartment. It's great for a weekend in Sète. The city is very pretty (restaurant, beach, bar, etc.). The only downside for us was the parking (free area) for the car. But reasonable, we had to explore the surrounding alleys a few times. We had little contact with the hosts except for the welcome and departure but they are warm and give good tips for exploring the city. Small bonus point for the decor, very nice :)

Philippe’s house is an unexpected oasis just 15 minutes walk over the bridge to the centre of Arles. Beautiful pool and garden to relax in. Cool accommodation with welcome air conditioning in the bedroom. Philippe was charming and communication was excellent

A charming home! Perfection for 3 F senior friends who each had their own bedroom. Area very quiet in evening/night. Great base for road tripping the local towns. Eric and Aline very helpful with suggestions as where to visit. Eric responded quickly to questions we had. 2 flights of stairs to the 2 bedrooms and another to top floor bedroom so not for bad knees. Good railings for support. We are from 🇨🇦 so loved our time here in this old city and the beautiful historic home!

Hans-Jurg was extremely responsive to my questions. His duplex has a beautiful view of Lake Geneva. Our family of 5 enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at Numero 6 apartment during our elopement and our vacation. We really enjoyed our stay, apartment is clean, spacious and the terrace (and view!) was 100/10. The host and team were very polite and responsive. Definitely recommend this apartment! 🤩❤️

We had a great, short stay and it was fantastic. The villa is beautiful, we loved having the pool to cool off in after a days riding. The villa is a short walk from the old town of Annecy with its wonderful bars and restaurants. It's also very convenient for the lake. Our hosts Aimé and Faïza were very friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend their place as a base for exploring Annecy and the surrounding region. I'll be back with my family at some point.

We had a very special short break at Zillah’s place. Valbonne is quintessential French: packed with independent boutique shops and restaurants with plenty of outdoor seating. Despite being an obvious tourist destination, it felt pleasantly ‘local’ as well. Our neighbours were very friendly and it was lovely to see the children playing in the street while parents and grandparents sat and chatted. The house itself has a small footprint but plenty of space over three floors. The main bedroom is particularly handsome, although the second bedroom has no windows, which would not suit everyone. The top-floor bedroom is open to the spiral staircase so privacy is a bit limited, but not a problem if you know all your fellow guests well! 😁 The roof terrace was a treat and a perfect spot for crémant and crevettes at the end of the day! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back.

We felt very comfortable right away. The apartment is very tastefully furnished with a lot of flair. The bedroom overlooking the pool was especially nice. A beautiful, clean pool with a nice garden, very private, for your exclusive use. A very well-maintained facility. The landlords are very friendly and helpful. We had amazing stay at the stunning property. The host, Frederique was very helpful, supportive, responsive. Our stay was simply perfect. The place itself was magical, with amazing design and spacious bedrooms, private pool and outdoor areas. All expected equipment available, with fully equipped kitchen. The village is s stunning and short distance drive to many chateaus, vineries, restaurants. The host was super helpful. Quick with responses, helpful with instructions and recommendations. Would recommend the place for friends reunions ( as ours) but would be equally perfect for family holidays.

The apartment is truly wonderful, a private space with wonderful views. It felt more like staying with friends than a rental with a homely feel and decor touches. We will be going again.

Enchanting stay in a charming place in nature. From the moment we drove into Burzet, we felt at home and that was only the beginning. Emmanuel met us and we followed him up the Roman road. Sounds good already? Then we followed him across a small footbridge crossing a lovely little stream. A private oasis awaits. A private garden overlooking the village and the sound of the stream—perfection. We loved our two levels filled with quirky, retro items. The bedroom above is warm, light-filled & inviting with a nice view of the village in the distance. The bed was very comfortable and the space is large. Emmanuel is a wonderful host who really truly cares for his guests in a special way that is authentic, caring & warm. He’s full of the best suggestions and in our week at the house we were thrilled with the hiking, the large local market in Aubenas, the utterly magical medieval villages, and much more. Gilles’ home is so lovely and relaxing and offers space to spread out (there were 6 of us). We felt right at home immediately. We cooked dinner 3 nights and the kitchen was well equipped. Small grocery within walking distance and larger stores within 15 mins drive. We ate at nice Italian restaurant in Gassin and had a great meal. Close to beaches. Highly recommend this location and this home!

This beautiful home is conveniently located to everything Carcassonne and area has to offer. We would stay again!

Vincent's place is absolutely beautiful. Very stylish yet personal, impeccably clean and most kindly prepared... He even put up a Christmas tree which was so adorable!! You have to be aware that the place is in the wonderful Centre historique of Ramatuelle and you absolutely cannot access it by car. We did not mind, because we knew. Ramatuelle and St. Tropez and the whole area is also amazing. This was our first time over Christmas. We loved it!! Merci Vincent!!

The little cottage is extremely stylish and furnished to a high standard. Within walking distance of the apartment, Fontvieille offers everything you need, restaurants, a very good ice cream parlor and - super convenient - a supermarket just a few steps away. The beautiful terrace was wonderful for breakfast before starting the day. Fontvieille was ideal for us to explore the many beautiful cities in Provence. We felt completely comfortable and can only recommend the host and apartment. Hervé was very warm, easy to reach and, as we found, had a wonderful sense of interior design.

The house is tucked away in a quiet little backstreet in the middle of this romantic old town. It is beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Everything can be reached easily on foot and there is free parking at the school only 5 mins away. We didn‘t get to meet Karine personally but the communication and the checkin over Airbnb worked perfectly. We will definitely come again the next time we are in the Provence!

An absolutely wonderful home and Isabelle is a superb hostess!! The house is charming—beautifully decorated and fully equipped with anything and everything guests could want or need. beautiful house, exactly as described, very clean, very modern small pool largely sufficient for cooling off, all amenities available whether towels, sun loungers, dishes, pots and pans, really everything. the host wasn't there but was very responsive on airbnb, easy to access and I really recommend this accommodation. There were 9 of us and it was perfect!!! don't hesitate and don't be afraid

We had a brilliant time at Steph's place - it is stunning and the photos don't do it justice! The place is spotless and very cozy with amazing views and gardens. Toulon itself isn't the best city but this was the perfect base for us to explore the Provence coastline. Steph was always responsive and helpful, including many great local recommendations! Would definitely stay here again.

This was the perfect work from a home away from home getaway week for me. Cyril was super responsive and always ready to help with anything I needed. The location was perfect too - peaceful, quiet, tucked away, and also walkable to everything you could want in Biarritz. I'm looking forward to going back already!
