A Magical Desert Escape – Luna Vista is Perfection! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our recent stay at Cindy's stunning Luna Vista in Joshua Tree was nothing short of magical. Nestled under the stars and the glowing moon, this home offered the most tranquil and soul-refreshing experience our family has ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the beauty of the home—perched like a castle on a hill, with breathtaking views in every direction. The house itself was immaculate: fully stocked, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed to make you feel right at home (or better!). Every detail was perfect—from the cozy linens to the well-equipped kitchen and outdoor spaces that felt tailor-made for relaxation and stargazing. Cindy was an absolutely exceptional host—warm, responsive, and genuinely committed to making our stay unforgettable. Her attention to detail and hospitality set a new standard.

Located in a great neighborhood, within walking distance to restaurants, coffee shops, bars and shopping. Also close to downtown and the airport. Plenty of on street parking. Owners were communicative and responsive.

Very safe and quiet neighborhood easy access to freeway and easy traffic flow. The house is as shown in the photos. Outside back area is wonderful. Easy communications, Bruce always addressed texts in a timely manner. Very easy check out - just drop keys in mailbox.

Context: We stayed at the Enchanted Manor for the July 4th Long weekend. We went in for a family wedding. The Guests were Myself, my mother, and my sister all sharing the house. The place is excellent, great pool, and accommodations, and is visually stunning, my mom was ecstatic about how great of a place it was. The place was clean, and as advertised. Georgia (the Hostess) lives on the premises, but you'll only see if you want to. the Property is divided into effectively a semi-attached house. However, we wanted to see her, and my mom and Georgia seemed to quickly develop a friendship. The backyard is fantastic, we had some family over to swim over the weekend and it went over well with everyone. Street parking was easy for us, and we didn't have any issues. Overall, great place, a great hostess, and overall quite a nice experience. We had a multigenerational trip and loved our stay here. The house was very spacious and clean, and it was so great for kids. The converted garage is fun as a play room, and the inclusion of the high chair/crib/pack n play was helpful. We really enjoyed using the common spaces (dining room was good for a large group, took advantage of the fire pit in the backyard, and the full kitchen was great for preparing breakfast). The beach is a quick walk away and the backyard shower is a nice touch. Really appreciated the thoughtful snacks and extras for our pup as well. Thank you Kim!

Everything we expected and more. Originally I was worried to book because all the positive reviews had been posted years prior. We stayed for a week June of 2023 and it’s wonderful. Clean, good location, everything you need. Will stay again if we’re in the area.

I know, we gave it all 5 stars and that looks unreal but it really was. It was a relaxing, well cared for atmosphere and exactly what our family needed. The hoot owl property is a true work of art and you can tell it was created by someone who loved what they were doing. Joshua Tree is just a short drive away, yet it feels like you are already in the park. I hope we can return one day.

House was much better than we expected- brand new looking, very clean, very spacious and already cool inside when we arrived (over 100 degrees outside). We think that it is well worth the price we paid. Our host, Bill, responded right away when I called and friendly. We really do not have any complaints at all.

Robin’s home was very comfortable for my family of 6, including a 4yr old & grandparents. The layout of the house make it feel larger than it is- especially with the huge front yard and a large fenced in back yard. Plenty of space to unpack and make ourselves at home. We were able to cook all our meals at the house. The kitchen was well stocked but some basic things like measuring cups and spoons were partial sets. The grille was in perfect working order as was the hot tub. We brought our own hammock which was easy to hang between the various palm tress in the front or the beams in the back. My two concerns coming in were the cleanliness of the home, after reading a reviewers complaint, and because dogs are allowed I was worried there would be dog/animal smells. Neither of these fears were realized. The house had no signs that any pets had ever been there and it was clean. It is not a modern looking pristine home, it has a comfy "second home" feel/look to it. Great location.

Our family of five enjoyed using the property as our home away from home. While Newport Beach was busy during the holiday weekend, the home is situated such that we weren’t in the middle of the crowd. We walked to our whale watching tour launch site, perused the shops on the harbor, spent a couple of hours most days on the beach (catching sight of dolphins playing in the waves a few times), and spent a few days at Disneyland. The place was well-maintained and adequately stocked which made making memories with the family easy. Would definitely return.

This was the perfect amount of space for our little family of 4. We were traveling with our sons aged 8 and 5. We enjoyed the local coffee shop, Red Kettle. And dined at the Nugget and Summerland cafe. This location is right next to highway 101 and the Amtrak train tracks, so it is on the nosier side although we did get used to it after the first night. We really enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night with the kids looking out at the ocean and we played board games in the living room. Overall, we’re very happy and would stay here again!

My family and I were very comfortable during our trip. The house was in a quiet neighborhood and conveniently located. The house was very clean and comfy.

We really loved staying here! The home was beautiful and very clean, and they’ve definitely nailed the boho desert vibe. We thoroughly enjoyed the yard — swings, hammocks, string lights, and beautiful sunset. If you’re planning to visit the area you can’t go wrong with this home. We hope to stay here again!

The picture listings doesnt do this house enough justice. It looks a million times better as soon as you step inside. Every room was spacious, cozy and not to mention a bathroom for every room. The host was responsive and super hospitable Amazing heated pool and jacuzzi combo with awesome lake views in this private gated community. Perfect home for families. 10/10 home. Definitely a great reason to travel to Indio. Plus a 5 min drive to the casino.

GiNie’s place was walkable to the downtown, restaurants and Embarcadero. Clean and peaceful. Easy check in. Would recommend her place.

The place is comfy and peaceful. We loved the patio. I stayed here because I attended a conference at a nearby hotel. I was able to easily walk to the conference. There is also a strip of restaurants that are within walking distance. This made my stay enjoyable. There is an instruction book that also let us know the WiFi information and the expectations for check out. The book was helpful. I would stay here again if I attended that annual conference again.

Sara's villa was exactly as described and the location was great. Plenty of restaurants in a walkable distance and even though it's close to a main road, it's really quiet and peaceful. The check-in process wasn't the smoothest (no instructions were sent and the lock on the gate doesn't work properly) but once we were past that, it was fine. WiFi speeds are good. Big TV and a coffee pot. oh, we did only have paper plates to use in the kitchen. weird. I'd stay here again.

We came for a long weekend and had a great stay! The space was clean, spacious, and cozy in a safe and quiet neighborhood. It was great to have an enclosed parking space. Joseph was a great host and incredibly friendly and responsive. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home and view! The house was super spacious and the kitchen was the star of the home - so much room to cook and set-up which we ended up just staying in and cooking both days. The view is spectacular! The bedrooms are downstairs so you’re in your secluded area for the kids to sleep! It can get a bit noisy if people are walking around on the main level but nothing a sound machine cannot help with. The only comment we have is there was very limited products to use. We had to go get more dishwasher pods, paper towels, and trash bags. I believe we had about 2 for each. Overall, fantastic stay and we would come here again!!! Thank you to the wonderful hosts.

We loved our stay in Grover Beach! It was within close proximity of the wineries and Avila beach hiking trails that we wanted to check out! We walked each morning to the coffee shop down the street and loved it!
