Unlike most hostels each room is private, the only difference is that each bathroom is located at the end of the hallway and shared amongst the other guests on the specified floor. The Desert Rambler Suite is #1 and is the largest of our 5 rooms at Spin & Margie's Desert Hideaway, a quiet oasis retreat on 29 Palms Highway, less than 5 minutes from the center of Joshua Tree. This spacious suite has a queen bed, complete kitchen with oven and large fridge, and a small second room with a double bed. Situated on 2+ acre private grounds with a beautiful pool. Peaceful, secluded, yet close to Joshua Tree, 29 Palms Highway, the National Park, and other local attractions.

The Peacock Suites is located within walking distance (0.9 miles ~15 min walk) of Disneyland Park and the Anaheim Convention Center. The Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) shuttle stops at the Peacock Suites and is a short shuttle ride to the Disneyland Resort ($6 adults, $2.50 child for a one-day pass).

We have growing traffic on our main road; winter & spring, especially Feb-April events, bring staggering amounts of visitors to PS, as well as rains, flooding, & road closures, routing large vehicles down our street. Our guests love it here but we had our first complaint so noting it for light sleepers & those seeking ample quietude.
