Walking enthusiasts will enjoy walks from the back door straight on to the North Downs Way and there is a bench by the front door fitted with a heated element, perfect for warming up your walking boots. The Stables

The stables are a light airy open plan barn conversion finished in 2018. A sumptuous king size bed. Your own private entrance with your own kitchen with a starter pack all ready for your stay including continental breakfast for one morning There is Wi-fi within the barn. We are 20 minutes to Mersea island, 5 minutes to Colchester zoo and 10 minutes from the magnificent Layer Marney Tower.

The apartment takes up the ground floor of this handsome Regency townhouse & opens onto its own walled garden at the back. The five rooms are full of restored historic features & have been decorated appropriately to make the most of their low ceilinged cottage like charm.
