Charming cottage with hot tub & private garden

HayleyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Gorgeous cosy cottage - just what we wanted. We stayed here with our 3 year old and 8 month old. The place is just as gorgeous as the photos and immaculately clean and comfortable. Kirran is a fantastic host with lovely little extras. 15 min drive from Diggerland and up the road from a lovely little Zoo. The hot tub was fab - would definitely recommend.

Amberlea: Serene Japanese Tea House Retreat

GovindaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We came down here for my son's 22nd birthday. He has always wanted to visit Japan so when I saw this house, I really wanted to try it out and surprise him as it looks like a beautiful traditional Japanese country house. It was exactly that ! it was so beautiful and made with so much attention to details , so peaceful , with a beautiful Zen garden and wind chimes. You can see the care that Nam and his wife have put in creating this space. It was like an experience. We only stayed one night but we will definitely come back !

Coastal 2-Bedroom Cottage w/ Hot Tub & Log Burner

LouiseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great stay in a lovely location. Everything we needed on our doorstep, the sea, a few restaurants and pubs. View from the house was amazing and a delight to open the curtains each morning. The cottage had a quant and homely welcoming feel. Rowland (and his dad!) were always on hand if we needed the smallest thing (not that we did really). Overall a lovely place to stay with our 3 year old for a few days away, close to the coast.

Forest Cottage, Medieval home up to 700 years old

Aston-JRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
My friends and I had an outstanding time at the cottage. Everything was as expected and more. Jason was an amazing host and made sure we were well prepared. The location was great and the surroundings were stunning; we saw deers within 10 minutes of arriving. We highly recommend visiting Hatfield Forest, especially a walk around the lake, and a local pub lunch.

Striking Fisherman's Cottage by Whitstable Harbour

JoanneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Stayed for a girls weekend and the cottage is in a great location within a very short walk of the harbour, beach and high street with many lovely independent shops, cafes and restaurants. The cottage is cosy and characterful and the garden and parking are a great advantage especially as on street parking is hard to find. (However there is long stay public parking a few minute walk away) It wasn’t an issue for us, however if someone is elderly, has restricted mobility or perhaps very young children they should be aware that the stairs are particularly steep without handrails to the first and second floor where the bedrooms are located. Furthermore the bathroom is located on the ground floor so if requiring it in the night one has to navigate the stairs. All in all, lovely place and great location so we had a great stay and would recommend.

Lovely fisherman's cottage near beach and harbour

JamesRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Perfect for a weekend stay. Well equipped and comfortable house for 2 adults and a baby, perfect location, minutes to the high street and the beach. Only issue was parking, nearest spot we could find over two days was about a 10 min walk - but it was a very sunny summer weekend. Otherwise, everything was great, thanks!

Tranquil luxury fisherman’s cottage close to beach

SarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place is great. Fiona was friendly, helpful and informative from the start. She gave us advice and guidance about her place unlike some people who are over the top with their rules. Her place is very clean and comfortable. It is also very stylish with high quality fittings. I don’t think I’ve stayed in a place that is more equipped; the kitchen has so much. Fiona has really thought about the place and what is needed as a guest. Parking in the local area was straightforward and the neighbourhood is quiet and safe. We walked to the Old Neptune, Tapas and the newish pizza place also on Harbour Street. Very good coffee from Grain and Hearth and Blueprint. This was a perfect place for us as 4 adults- us two in our 50s and our daughter and her partner (18/19 year olds). Excellent.

The Merchant’s House

MehganRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our stay at the Merchant House! It's a charming old house with loads of character. It's updated enough to make it comfortable and was very clean and well cared for. The location is amazing, a block away from the sea and surrounded by shopping and restaurants. Emily was very accommodating, letting us check in early and out late. There was a little welcome basket of snacks and prosecco waiting for us and she even left milk in the fridge for tea (which was also provided). The property was exactly what we were looking for for our long weekend trip. We would definitely choose to stay here again and would happily recommend it to others.

Oyster Catchers Cottage. Burnham on Crouch, Essex

ThomasRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had an excellent stay at Henry's place. A beautiful historic cottage with eclectic and interesting touches. Henry clearly has an eye for design and this quirky and charming property has it all. The garden is wonderful and a overall a great place to get away from it. Location is excellent, less than 5 mins puts you to shops restaurants and historic riverfront but without losing its peacefulness. Henry's local knowledge, responsiveness and amenable nature helped make our stay even better.

Lovely little house, beautifully decorated and very well equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Extremely central location with parking for one car. Excellent communication from host Dean who is very knowledgeable and happy to help with any questions you may have. Would definitely recommend. Hope to return in the near future as there is so much more to see in Canterbury than we managed in just a weekend!
