Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Southend-on-Sea

The house was beautiful, tastefully updated and very well organized. We loved using the fireplaces and Kate had the house nicely decorated for the holidays. The kitchen was wonderful and we enjoyed cooking our Christmas dinner there. It was a perfect setting for a vacation rental, lovely grounds, footpaths just around the corner, just perfect! And Kate was very responsive to all our requests. Recommended great local restaurants and a 13th century church for Christmas Day. Excellent accommodation! We loved it!

Comfortable home in peaceful location but near to the beach, very pet friendly. Mersea island is a lovely location. Plenty of lovely pubs within 10min walking distance. Mel is a fantastic host, very friendly and goes out of her way to make your holiday special.

This was our third stay in Whitstable and we had again a very relaxing time. Fleur’s house is very nice, full of light, well located, quiet and we had everything we needed.

We had a lovely stay, and even though we know the area well the house was a perfect addition to our plans! The property was very nicely furnished with everything you could need and a very helpful host!

Stayed here with 10 guys. There is ample room to sit together to have dinner, a large enough lounge for everyone to relax and all spaced that require less clothing is very private and not overlooked. The upper balcony is shared with a bedroom from 16A, but I assume that is not in use when the place is booked. Driveway is shared with adjacent property but you can still fit 4 cars. Hot tubs extremely well maintained. Furniture is in excellent condition. Furnishings are modern and tasteful. All kitchen appliances work with ample crockery and cutlery. Beds are very comfortable and allow flexible sleeping arrangements. Bathrooms were very clean.

Had a great time staying here. Stayed for a work trip with a colleague, lots of space and great that there are 2 en suites. Gave us privacy. Frances was a lovely and friendly host, really responsive with messages. The badgers were the icing on the cake! They were so so cute, loved putting food out and waiting for a sighting. The garden is beautiful and really peaceful. Beds were comfy and bad a great night's sleep. Will be back! X

From the moment I booked, everything was incredibly smooth and welcoming. The feeling of comfort hit as soon as we stepped into the house — we instantly knew we’d be coming back. Mark was a gracious and responsive host. Mark pro-actively checked- in with me regarding the comfort and satisfaction of the flat. The flat was clean, comfortable and as pictured. The location felt safe and is an idea location close to the train and within walking distance to lovely shops, cafes and restaurants. Should I return to Southend-On-Sea, I would book again.

Savas was the perfect host! We stayed in his apartment because we were in town for a wedding and he made us feel right at home. Would highly recommend it for anyone in the area.

this is a review on behalf of my nephew and his g/f who due to a domestic issue i had to de-camp them to somewhere other than my home. nikkis places was well described and more than reasonable, in fact it was quite a bit cheaper than the local chain hotels. comms were good through out and she was warm and welcoming when i dropped them both off. they said the room was perfect, clean, well presented and comfortable and nikki was always on hand and friendly throughout. The only thing they mentioned was it would have been nice to have a small fridge somewhere in the room, this of course is personal preference. they were both sad to leave, but leave they must. i cant thank nikki enough especially as the booking was done with only 24hrs notice of their arrival. i/we would happily recommend staying here if you are in the area

Had the most amazing stay with Paul who was amazing from start to finish, was very attentive, went the extra mile with every little detail from muffins, fresh croissants, fresh juices and beverages, highest quality hand gel, shampoo etc. even had a love heart in rose petals on the bed this has definitely been my best experience through air bnb and would be back again, would highly recommend. If i could give 10 ⭐️ I would Thank you Paul for an amazing experience

Ivy was an outstanding host. Her communications were fast and she was really helpful. The stay was great, an easy to find location and exactly as described. Everything was clean and all our needs were met. The location is easily walkable to the nearest tube station and yet really quiet so we had a really peaceful nights sleep. Overall I highly recommend booking here and we will certainly be returning guests. A 10 out of 10 experience from start to finish.

Really convenient location for us: visiting family in SE London. Really easy to get to and really nice feel: you really have a lovely place! The kids felt right at home and thanks for making us feel so welcome. Absolutely loved our stay: thank you!

Vincent was extremely helpful with anything we needed to know and responded very quickly. the place was very unique with so much detail. even though it's end of his garden it did not feel like that as has been made to be very private. the jacuzzi was lovely with the fairy lights around it. the bottom bunk of the bed was so cozy and the tv in there made it even more enjoyable. and could even have a curtain round it. didn't want to get of bed 😅 also the bathroom had bird noices when you went in there which was a nice touch.

Really lovely peaceful cabin, perfect to place to rest and recharge! Vikki-Jo was really responsive to all our questions and all the details on the place were super clear. Very beautiful location too!

Beautiful cabin in a stunning location! Perfect to relax and be in the nature. Tom gave us very clean instructions and local recommendations. We loved watching the sunset by the fire and having a morning coffee listening to birds. Amazing place for walks, runs and exploring !

The lodge is beautifully decorated and very clean. We did need help with something there, Charlotte and Billy were very quick to respond and resolved the issue in no time. It’s really spacious inside and all the lamps around really add a homely vibe. We had a lovely time and would definitely return!

Thank you Deborah. an amazing long weekend away for my partner and myself. it was my parners birthday. Deborah went out of her way to make it special. Great cabin and location. Exactly as described and perfect to unwind. Julie is a really informative host and provided a lot of local knowledge in terms of places to go & things to do etc. Perfect weekend getaway.
