Vacation rentals with a fireplace in South Padre Island

We enjoyed our stay with our two grand kids! Conveniently located to several great restaurants without having to cross the bridge. Would definitely stay again.

Great property for large family groups and especially those with kids. There’s something for everyone. From the secret room and slide for the younger kids, to private space for tweens and teens, to a private pool and large gathering spaces. This was exactly what we were looking for in our last minute weekend getaway. We had never been to South Padre since we’ve lived in Houston and usually chose shorter drive locations or short flights to other destinations but wanted to do something different for Father’s Day weekend. We had a great time. Although we didn’t use it, they have tons of beach gear in the garage and probably covers just about anything you’d need. That reduces the load on packing. There’s also a golf cart that seats 6 that we used a couple times. This adds to the value IMHO and is why we chose this property over another that was slightly cheaper. As a former AirBnB host I always appreciate super responsive owners like Melissa. It makes all the difference when things happen.

Great place for our family vacation. Located in the middle of the island so easy to get to everything. Backyard is nice and feels private.

Beautiful home, super close to the beach. The house was incredibly clean and comfortable, and the hosts were very responsive.

We really enjoyed our stay at Rod and Rosa’s place, and we’re so happy that they were dog friendly. Our pup LOVED their big back yard. Rod and Rosa were quick to respond to the questions and needs that we had. Keep in mind the sub tropical climate in south padre warrants the occasional unwelcomed rodent or guest but we thoroughly enjoyed the property and would absolutely stay here again. Very nice location to free beach access and all the nice bars and restaurants in south padre

This is a great property. It was perfect for our family's summer vacation. The neighborhood is lovely, quiet and safe. The beach is right out the back door and really nice. Great for all ages. The kitchen and bedrooms are nice and clean as well. We will be back!

Such a great home for my family while we waited to close on a home. The house was very well prepped for our stay and the host communicated very well with us. We’d book it again in a heartbeat. The back yard was perfectly private and provide my toddler with a great space to run around and play. The best tacos I’ve had in a long time are about a 1-minute drive from the house. Close to Walmart and HEB made it a very convenient place to live for an extended stay. The host allowed to extend our stay later than we thought and gave us plenty of time to check out. I recommend this home to anyone wanting a clean, comfortable, and private place to rent.

We had a fantastic stay at this beach house! The home was beautifully decorated, spacious and clean. The pool was perfect for relaxing after a day in the sun. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to go back and forth throughout the day. The house itself was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a great getaway. We also brought our two Schnauzers and they seemed to enjoy the home also! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing beach vacation! Host and SPI Rentals Team were great too!

Excellent stay and facilities

This was our second time staying at this location and loved it every time! I bring my boat so it’s so convenient to have the slip available and I feel safe knowing my boat is behind a locked gate.

Loved the place! It was on the first floor which was great for my mom who has trouble climbing stairs. Very clean with pretty decor that made it feel like home. Only downside was how tiny the pool is, however it was expected because the pictures from listing are accurate so I wasn’t disappointed. Close to beach access and beds were comfy!

First time staying at Airbnb...this place was very warming.. the host was always answering our questions prior to our stay...I would definitely look into booking again if needed...
