Vacation rentals with a fireplace in South Haven

Overall really liked the place! Very modern and high end feeling. The host was very kind and let us check in a little early. Our bed was comfortable and water pressure/shower were great. There’s plenty of space and everything is well stocked in terms of kitchen ware, extra towels etc. I really enjoyed being able to have a dog friendly space, my pups loved looking out all the windows/doors. The backyard although not fenced is pretty easy to contain dogs as long as they are somewhat trained. Super close to Douglas, holland and saugatuck. Felt very safe as well which is important to me.

We really enjoyed the property. It was clean and cozy. Everything had a place and it was decorated beautifully. You can tell they take great pride in the property and making you feel at home. Instructions were clear and they even provide you a guidebook to help you. We had a question about the light/fan in the bathroom and they responded with in 5 minutes. They really thought of everything!

This home exceeded our expectations! A fully stocked, gourmet kitchen with plenty of seating and overflow areas. Bright, fresh and clean with exceptional detail in every area bth indoors snd outdoors. Our children and grandchildren loved the warm pool (81 degrees) and of course the in-ground jacuzzi was amazing and relaxing. Loved having bikes available to ride to the beaches snd beyond. Downtown South Haven is minutes away; great restaurants, a Speakeasy opens Thursday-Sunday. Farmers Market at the pavilion offers local foods and gifts every Saturday and Wednesday 8am-2pm. Every morning and evening we watched the deer 🦌 just outside the sunroom windows. Our family said that this home set a high bar.

We had an outstanding stay at Sarah’s place! It is abundantly clear that Sarah puts a lot of care into what she does. Every single detail felt purposeful. I would be so happy to stay here again! Excellent location, we were able to walk to a lot of things. The place had anything we could have wanted or needed. Can’t say enough good things!

We loved our stay here. The house was great and had a great space for the kids. The location is great and very close to the park and beach. The house had lots of things for kids (toys, booster seats, stroller, etc). The kids all want to come back.

My group of seven stayed at Carrie’s property for a girl’s weekend and it was amazing! The house is beautifully remodeled, clean and sits just two blocks from the beach and about five blocks from downtown South Haven. We walked everywhere and it was so convenient. Check in was easy, the fire pit outside was amazing and overall, we had a great time!

This location was perfect to accommodate our party of 8 adults. The home was modern and well furnished from the bathroom to the kitchen. We loved the outdoor amenities such as the fire pit and the hot tub. Tim had all the amenities and supplies to ensure we could take advantage of all the perks this listing had to offer. We will be thinking of this place the next time we want to get away.

This place is even more magical in person and perfectly accommodated our group of 10! We loved it so much that we looked to book again this summer, but it was all full. Hopefully will return next year—everything was perfect! The house is clean, has so much space, all of the amenities you could need, and the view/ beach was so beautiful. Highly recommend staying here—we can’t say enough good things!

Great little place. We had issues with the ac unit the first day (probably the first time the air has been on for the season since it was unusually warm outside) but host was responsive and resolved the issue to the best of their ability. Beds are super comfortable and my daughter loved the bunk bed. Right in the center of town and unbeatable views.

The place was amazing, very cozy Airbnb and for a great price! The view of the property from the Airbnb was beautiful and gives off farmhouse vibes, space was great for my family and I! We had some friends and family over and everyone was comfortable in the space and it didn’t feel cramped ! Very beautiful place with great home owners!

We had an amazing time! Me and my boyfriend stayed for one night, the patio and dock were super cozy and we really enjoyed sitting out there at night just listening to music and having some drinks. Super nice area, the beach isn't too far and they have some fun bars and restaurants in the area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

I can’t speak highly enough of Lynette and the accommodations. Lynette was a very responsive, communicative host. The extra touches she put into the stay were noticed and appreciated. The accommodations were sparkling clean, ultra comfortable and matched the listing photos and description perfectly. The property location was extremely serene. I would most definitely recommend staying here!!

Beautiful house perfect for our girls getaway, however, it was s very tight squeeze for 12 since 2 adults on a double bunk didn’t really work but there was lots of couch space & the couches were so comfortable! The house was very updated & clean. It was perfect for our girls getaway & downtown Saugatuck was so fun!

Hany was very responsive, informative, and accommodating. The home looked just like the photos! It was a quick walk downtown to restaurants, shops, and a park. This was a perfect place for our family!

We had a lovely family reunion at St Joe’s overlook. Kitchen came with literally everything- all sorts of cooking instruments (crock pot, air fryer, toaster etc), spices/oils, and zip lock bags for leftovers. All brand new appliances and ample prep space. We got the pool heated and it was wonderful! Very large size to fit all the family kids. The hot tub was a nice save for the adults who were freezing. Beautiful views from the living room of the river with ample and comfy seating. The home was perfect for a large gathering. We appreciate Evan and Claire hosting us they were always responsive and helpful.

This place was awesome, a beautiful cottage in the woods with a fire pit, hot tub, walking paths, and just 5 minutes from downtown. My only feedback is about the room setup. The listing shows a room with two bunks, but it’s actually an open loft with one bunk bed. It’s not a private room, so don’t count it as a secluded space. When I book a house, it’s really important that everyone has a quiet room to return to, so I was a little disappointed that some guests got shorted on that. Honestly, it might have affected my decision to book. Otherwise, the stay was beautiful and peaceful, I’d definitely come back!

Bruce & Carol were excellent hosts anticipating needs while going above and beyond to make the stay special. The home has beautiful landscaping and gardens. Plenty of room for children to run and play. The breeze from the lake can be enjoyed throughout the home. The house has lake front views throughout the main rooms. The home is positioned ideally for guests with 3 separate living spaces and an open kitchen to the main gathering space that opens to the deck and grill. The walk to St. Joseph is less than a mile and we completed this enjoyable walk daily. Farmer market operates every Saturday during the summer with concerts on Sunday evenings all in walking distance of home. The private beach is beautiful and hosts shared paddle boards and beach toys to add to experience. We enjoyed sunset walks to the lighthouse pier. The internet is fast and reliable for those looking to work away from home with 2-3 possible office locations in home. We would return here again.

It was so peaceful and quiet, a perfect retreat. Impeccably clean and pristine, it felt like a sanctuary. The decoration and art were incredibly tasteful, and the music environment was equally delightful. The experience was simply exceptional and truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this gem!
