Vacation rentals with a kayak in South America

Absolutely loved my stay here! The surroundings were stunning—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect escape from the city. There was plenty of space to relax, both indoors and out, with cozy spots to hang out and unwind. The boat dock was a real highlight—perfect for morning coffee or just soaking in the view. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully set up for guests. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend!

Sergio is a wonderful host—very kind, attentive, and quick to respond to any questions. The stay was extremely comfortable, as the house had absolutely everything one might need. The location is fantastic, although it might be a bit challenging for those who aren’t physically prepared—but it’s still quite accessible. The view from the window is absolutely breathtaking—it's hard to imagine anything better. Thank you so much, Sergio, for your warm hospitality and for making our stay so pleasant and memorable!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! Jessica was an amazing host, with exceptional details and directions to the house and local recommendations that were spot on places to visit. Dillan was there to meet us and show us the place and make check-in and check out very easy. Her house is a fantastic place to stay in El Jobo. It was a short walk to a beautiful beach and the location gives you peace and serenity being right with nature, without being far from anything. The stars at night are amazing!!! We tried local restaurants like El Indio, shopped at the little store across the street and made the beautiful drive to La Cruz for coffee at Punta Descartes. We enjoyed the house and property so much. It couldn't have been a better experience. Jessica was so communicative and welcoming - she even sent a note to wish me happy birthday while we were staying there. She made it feel like we were staying at the home of a close friend. We enjoyed it all so much!

The accommodation is just like the photos, even more beautiful view. Before our arrival, we received clear instructions on how to get there and videos of the cabin inside, as well as information on the extras they offered. We used the jacuzzi, with a dream sunset. Pablo was always attentive to answering our concerns and accepting our suggestions. The cabin we rented, although small (tiny), was very functional and has a beautiful view through its window, and you can hear the sound of the sea while you enjoy your rest. We will definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house. Cristina was very helpful to offer suggestions of things to do on the island. Check in was simple - we were greeted at the gate and given a tour of the property. Marcela and Andres were attentive to anything we needed during our stay and kept the house in great condition. The house is private, quiet, and away from town which is exactly what we wanted. There is a lot to do within the house - swimming pool, ping pong table, hot tub, billiards, outdoor hammocks, or just lounging inside playing games. Each bedroom was spacious and the house was clean. When ready to visit all the island has to offer, a 20 minute mulita ride is all it takes. We highly recommend to anyone wanting a fun and relaxing stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The floorplan is amazing as every room goes out to the terrace and has a beautiful view. The kitchen has everything you could need and there are thoughtful touches throughout the house like a Bluetooth speaker and powerful extension cords to make it easy to charge all your devices. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, friendly and responsive.

This is certainly one of my favorite airbnbs ever. The view is superb - every morning waking up to the blue of the lake and alpenglow on the mountains and the shower has the best view of any you will ever experience. The place is private and peaceful, surrounded by beautiful tall trees and is visited by interesting birds. The house is beautifully built and Marcelo is a great host. I would highly recommend it!!

The cabin is a true dream retreat. Every detail of the architecture was thought out with great taste, mixing the rustic with the modern in a warm and surprising way. The huge windows let the light in and offer a magical view of the lake, which changes color as the day goes by. Everything was impeccable, clean, fragrant and ready to welcome us. The decor is so cute, with items that seem to have been chosen with affection, it even seems like we're in a movie. And the host? A true example of hospitality! Attentive, quick to respond and full of good recommendations. He made us feel very comfortable, but he also made sure that everything went well from beginning to end. After two years, I was able to return to the waterfall house, which remains impeccable and cozy. The accommodation is exactly as advertised, well-equipped; we didn't miss anything and felt at home. We went with our dogs, who really enjoyed the space and the river that flows behind the house. The land is completely fenced, which gives us a lot of security in relation to the pets that love to explore the yard once again. Sertão do Taquari is the right place for those seeking tranquility. By car we went to the historic center of Paraty and also to São Gonçalinho beach, where we used the kayak available at the house to paddle and it was an incredible experience. We had such a good time that we extended our stay by another day and so we could visit the waterfall house 2, which is equally cozy. Guto is super proactive, attentive and always available; an excellent host. This time we had the opportunity to meet Marlene, who was very nice to us. We left already wanting to return.

It was an amazing holiday at Antônio's farm. I didn't imagine I would enjoy it so much, my daughters loved it, we went kayaking, barbecued, it's a great place for those who like to see stars, the jacuzzi was great for the cold days. Thank you very much Antônio. We loved the house

A perfect place to rest close to everything but located in an almost private place from the reservoir, the property is full of antique items in excellent condition still in use, great detail. I will definitely be back!

The house is exactly as shown in the photos: beautiful, cozy and very well decorated. The cleanliness was impeccable, everything extremely fragrant and well maintained. The bed and bath linens are of excellent quality, bringing even more comfort. The kitchen is super-equipped, with everything you need to prepare good meals. It's the kind of place to relax, read a good book and cook in peace. The view from above to the lake is simply breathtaking, and it is still possible to go down and contemplate the landscape up close, which makes the experience even more special. We were warmly welcomed by Carol, who presented us with a delicious homemade bread upon arrival, a gesture that made all the difference. I highly recommend this stay. It was very worthwhile and I already want to go back!

Excellent location, you can enjoy nature at its best, beautiful sunrise and magical sunset. Clean facilities with everything you need for a peaceful stay. We were delighted with the place. We had rainbows, a full moon, hummingbirds, Pantera - the extremely docile, passionate doberman. And it's impossible not to mention the kindness, attention, affection, and availability of Gilberto, the father.

Mariela was by far the best air BNB host I've ever had! she met me on the beach to help me find the house and was very friendly. she was very responsive and always available for questions and to give recommendations. the house was in a great private location surrounded by all green. the bed was super comfortable as well. it was easy to walk to many places but also off the main roads. I would recommend this place to anyone going to ilha grande.

We loved it, the only thing is that the house is made with very low doors. I'm 1.92 and I had to bend down all the time

It is the perfect place to disconnect, find tranquility and enjoy harmony with nature, where the noise of the city is far away and only the relaxing murmur of the wind between the trees and birds remains. A paradise for those seeking peace and quiet The cabin is only accessible by boat, and in it you'll find everything you need to be very comfortable and enjoy wonderful views. The photos are a true reflection of the place. On the other hand, Eduardo was very attentive to our needs and eager to help us enjoy our stay, highly recommended!

We can’t thank Jonathon enough!!!! He was incredibly helpful. Very responsive. He helped arrange a few different excursions while we were in La Fontana and they were amazing. He also gave us some recommendations for restaurants which was extremely helpful because there are so many choices it was hard to know which ones were good and Soda restaurants (in Costa Rica means local authentic places) were they best !!! I highly recommend this place it’s secluded for privacy but close enough to go for a 10 walk and be right in the thick of everything. I would give him 10 stars if it were possible. 😀
