Beachfront vacation rentals in South America

A beautiful place to slow down and relax, the view is beautiful and the beaches are calm. I had rainy days, but I still managed to enjoy the place. The cottage has everything we need, check-in and checkout were quick and the road was quiet. I loved it!!

Our stay with Erwin was a great experience. Check in and out were smooth and easy, and Erwin was easily accessible at all times approaching and during our stay. Erwin helped our group with tour guides, dinner recommendations, laundry and more. The apartment itself was clean and had a beautiful view of the city and lake. Our only regret was not staying here longer.

We spent three absolutely incredible days in Jon and Cheryl’s cabin. The accommodation is beautiful, very comfortable, and perfectly equipped. The cabin is set in a truly stunning environment and allows you to fully enjoy nature. From the window, you can spot many birds (toucans, hummingbirds, etc) as well as many other animals within the reserve. Jon and Cheryl are very attentive, fascinating, and generous hosts, they will do everything to ensure you have an unforgettable stay. Don’t hesitate to talk with them about their project, you’ll discover how remarkable and inspiring the work they are doing to build their dream property with their own hands truly is. Even though everything you need is available to cook for yourself, we highly recommend choosing the meals they prepare, the food is simply outstanding. Thank you again for everything, this was one of the greatest highlights of our trip through South America, and we will never forget our time in your little paradise!

Luiz was extremely helpful and kind, received us super well, responded quickly, gave incredible tips and presented the house. The atmosphere is beautiful, airy, full of character and history. A Vista can't even be talked about, it's a spectacle apart, beauty everywhere. Comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen and super comfortable room. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back soon!

The place is very quiet with the view of the Santa Marta lighthouse, an incredible place, the hosts are good people, we love the place, we will definitely be back soon. Everything is impeccable, everything is clean, smells nice, we love it!!!

We will definitely come back! The place is beautiful, super neat, the view is wonderful. Juliano was extremely attentive and careful, we were greeted with treats and a plaque with our name! Communication was quick and easy! Juliano gave us some tips, great restaurants on the beach of the fort. It's easy to walk to the beach, which is super quiet and very beautiful! 20 minutes from downtown Florianópolis and less than 5 minutes by car to Jurerê! What delighted us was the view, the calmness of the place, everything was very clean and organized! The bathtub is great, after a day at the beach! If you like quieter beaches, without loud music, the beach at the fort surprised us! Thanks Juliano!

We had a great time in Maria Eduarda’s apartment in Leblon. Waking up to that view never got old! Maria Eduarda, provides concierge service, recommending a boat trip, restaurants, best gym etc. She also did regular check-ins via message throughout the stay which was very thoughtful. Basically, she was available whenever needed and that is very appreciated. The apartment is equipped with every thing that you need, the daily cleaning is a big plus too. It’s like being at a hotel with the convenience of an Airbnb. The bed was a bit soft for our liking, but that could just be personal preference. We really enjoyed being able to walk around the neighbourhood, as it felt very safe. Lots of coffee spots, restaurants, gym, supermarket and more! I would recommend staying here 🙂💫

We enjoyed our stay here, the host is very accommodating and responsive. Building security is very tight. I thought that this would hinder some fun for us but the host assured a great time and great experience for us. The pent house view is beautiful to wake up to every morning. It’s nice and bright with a beautiful view of the ocean. I believe the pics may have be taken at night. One tip I would leave them is to take more bright high quality pics. Other than that thank you for your hospitality! The Penthouse Cartagena experience was amazing! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🌟

If you’re looking for a safe place in a great, walkable location, book this Airbnb! The pool and rooftop spaces were lovely with great views. There was a restaurant / bar on the second floor which was a perfect spot for a tropical drink happy hour and snack! There was a delicious coffee shop and more restaurants / shops right below the condo too. Plus, short walking distance to some of the best shopping and restaurants on the island. (Lucy’s, West Deck, Aru-bean were some of the highlights for us). We enjoyed this location vs the pricier spots right on the beach. (Only a $10-20 taxi to visit the beaches from this condo) Mahssa’s communication was incredible and she greeted us upon arrival and showed us around. She also had great recs for beaches, restaurants and more! The security workers in the condo were friendly and helpful - always calling us taxis (no Ubers on the island!) and recommending local spots. We felt very safe the entire time and the condo is a perfect spot for 2!

It's a perfect place to rest and enjoy as a family. It has everything to make a vacation perfect. Super responsive hosts. The beaches of the French are a hidden gem of the Colombian Caribbean Sea. Aracelly is very attentive and helpful. The store in the back is very well equipped and useful. We will definitely be back.

The stay was perfect! The lawn is impeccable, the house is right on the sand. The beach is beautiful and calm. A tent was placed on the sand to protect us from the sun, kayak for a ride, lounge chair, beach chair, bath towels, freezer near the beach. Bed and breakfast experience with Airbnb, very good! And there's still Kratos to play with!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Karen and Chiri's home. Esterillos Oeste is a charming little village off the beaten path and provides a great "local" experience with charm. At the same time, it is close enough to more populated cities like Jaco and Quepos that we were able to visit by a relatively short car ride during our stay. The home is a short walk to the beach and you can hear the ocean waves from the balcony, which was lovely. Karen and Chiri were welcoming hosts and their restaurant Los Almendros was excellent! We would stay again and would recommend to friends. Thank you!

Had a really good time here. Having the ocean as your backyard and being able to snorkel was an amazing and priceless experience. The beaches nearby were also spectacular. One thing I’ll note though is that if you want to do stuff in the main city (Willemstad), it’s about a 50m drive so keep that in mind. It’s perfect though if what you’re looking for is to be surrounded by nature and the water.

The space is wonderful and is steps from the beach. The swimming pool is a differential. The house also has several items to make your stay more cozy, such as a beer maker, barbecue, hammock and beach items. As a courtesy, they serve a breakfast specially prepared by Dani - who also provided us with two delicious lunches: shrimp bobó and fish stew. Camila is a super host and helped us with everything, even renting bicycles. We love every day at Casa Sal.

Gilles place is magical. I loved every minute of my month long stay there and was incredibly sad to leave. The views are incredible and the wildlife is abundant I don’t surf but the beaches here are delightful for long walks and I really enjoyed taking dips in the cool river and floating in the tide pools. I loved the daily workout of climbing the steep hill but if you are not very fit you’d be wise to rent a 4x4 or an ATV to get around during your stay. Lastly, Gilles presence on the property was an added bonus! He has lived in the area for a long time and offers great suggestions. He is very respectful of your space / privacy but quick to respond to questions and consistently jovial if you happen to see him outside. Highly recommend!!!

The house is excellent, the rooms are very comfortable, with air conditioning and all the spaces are very good. The children and we all took advantage of the heated pool at any time and the beach is steps away. Very good service and the food by Sergio was A1. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back.

Our stay at Villa Delfin was outstanding, we can’t recommend this place enough! The ocean views are gorgeous, especially the sunsets, from your own private infinity pool. The rooms were very comfortable for 2 couples and our baby. The A/C in the rooms kept us cool at night. The kitchen is really well equipped to cook - highly recommend using their chef for a night or two, she made amazing Nica meals for us to enjoy! Easy to walk to a few restaurants on the beach and you are right on Maderas surf beach to catch some epic waves. The staff are extremely accommodating and helpful - it’s also a nice touch having a Doctor on site. We can’t wait to come back to stay at Villas Playa Maderas again!

Amazing place to relax and forget about everything outside. Exceptional view. And very nice service to keep our of the duties. Don't hesitate to try it. Worth every penny.
