Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sotavento Islands

The house is just like in the photographs, a wooden construction in which nothing has been left to chance and which is filled with small details and revealing details of the love and affection with which it was built and appreciated. Like any wooden house, it is already showing small points in need of maintenance, but nothing serious. The view from the house on the outer porch is stunning and it's precisely what we loved the most. To stay outside at night, observing the immensity of the starry sky and in silence, only with the sound of the sea, was equally pleasant. The perfect home to welcome us with our family. We leave with great desire to return for more days. Small appliances missing can improve the experience (kettle or coffee maker). On the contiguous terrain of the house a new dwelling is being built, which removes privacy from the porch. Workers are respectful and do not start making noise too early.

Listing as described. Spacious, clean, close to small shops. You have to take a taxi or rent a car to get to the city center of Praia. Maria Teresa sent us a taxi to the airport for our arrival,she has a vehicle to rent if needed. Maria was very available and ready to keep our belongings for a stay on another island! In short we recommend, Maria Teresa is a very good host thank you 😊

We had a lovely stay at this authentic little house in the Picos Valley. A peaceful place where simplicity reigns. In addition, Lina's little dishes delighted us. We discovered the traditional Cape Verdean cuisine. Lina is a discreet neighbor who cares about the well-being of hosts. Our children enjoyed accompanying her husband to feed the animals. In short, a place with a beautiful soul.

VERY NICE HOUSE!! FERDINAND was an amazing host - but does not live in Cabo Verde. Beautiful views from the house and terrace .. Very tastefully decorated ... BUT ... the Airbnb photo is misleading. there is NO beach in front of the house. Also no bottled water when arrive. the shower needs a LOT of improvement.

We enjoyed the quiet stay at Dinohelders place in the hills of Santiago. The house has a very tasty interior design and we felt at home from the beginning. The garden is beautiful with all the plants and the pergola is beautiful. People living around the area are super helpful and friendly. You'll see all kinds of farm animals around the property. There are nice hiking opportunities available right from the house. Thanks again for letting us stay at this beautiful place.

Great place to stay for several days or weeks in Praia. Very easy to get around thanks to the minibuses (hiace or hilux) that pass by one minute from the house. The space is spacious, great value for money and delighted to participate in the SOS Children's Village association project!

The apartment was even better than we expected, super clean, very spacious with a lovely interior. Carlos was super responsive and extremely helpful with what we needed and advising us on places to go, how to get around etc. 10/10 stay would definitely recommend :)

Luis was responsive and a great host. He managed our transport from airport to accommodation. The place was really good for that price. Spacious and clean flat.

We had such a great stay at Fajã de Agua. Collin was perfect host and took a good care of everything. Brekfast was very good. The staff was nice. When I'll back in Brava I will definetly stay here again.

António was a great host, very welcoming and helpful, he didn't hesitate to introduce us to all the good spots and restaurants in Tarrafal. We loved staying at the apartment, especially since the terrace had a beautiful view. We would highly recommend this apartment.

The view from the balcony is magnificent. The rooms are nicely decorated. The shower is good. Grocery stores and restaurants are within walking distance. To the Mercado Municipal, a taxi is recommended for about €2.50. There is an informative brochure in the apartment with all the important tips. Else gave us more personal tips. Please note that if you check in after 9:30 pm, you are required to arrive by taxi arranged by Else.

Natacha is a great host, friendly and pleasant. She picked us up at the airport with her husband and we took a short drive to show us the different beaches. She helped my husband put a SIM card in the phone by going with him to a specialized shop. We had a great time at Natacha's quiet place and the apartment is in a good location for taking transport with restaurants and food stores nearby. We recommend

We stayed with Mickael for ten days and from check-in to checkout we were very satisfied. We arrived quite late in the evening, but that was no problem at all. He still took the time to welcome us warmly and gave us a tour of the house. During our stay he was always available when we needed him – really great! The house is spacious, clean and pleasantly cool on hot days. In addition, a baby bed was also arranged for our son, which was very nice. If we go on vacation to Praia again, we will undoubtedly choose this apartment again!

My stay at Casa Riviera went very well. The accommodation was large and spacious, with a cute little terrace. It was clean and nice. Very advantageous point, there is an affordable car rental agency right in front which is great. I recommend taking a car for 3-4 days to visit the whole island at your own pace. The beach is about a 10-minute walk. I recommend it:) Also, there's a lot of grocery stores nearby so it's great. Restaurant point: there is a brunch nearby Adèle good value for money.

Amazing! If you don’t stay here, you are missing out on a fantastic experience. Chris and Mona are incredible. such kind, generous and welcoming people. The meals they served us were so fresh and tasty, there are also lots of fun activities like snorkelling and fishing available here. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back again! Thank you Chris and Mona for everything.

A GEM! The dream apartment! Super comfortable, very well decorated, accessible on foot or by car, close to the sea and restaurants. Erico is an incredible host, proactive, responsive, warm, welcoming and very available. Very small downside for the water pressure but Erico has the solution to this problem. Bravo again and thank you! I recommend it without so much as a second thought!

Francisco had arranged transportation to take us from the airport to Stella Maris. The accommodation fits the description. It is in a very quiet, very clean residential park. The staff is lovely. Very kind person at the reception. Infinity pool overlooking the sea, beautiful. Very good site

The house is very nice, very clean and tidy, close to a central avenue and with a shower that works. The kitchen is equipped with necessities. Maria was very attentive to everything, and helped us with all our questions. However, if you come in summer, it's quite hot and there's no air conditioning.
