Apartment vacation rentals in Sotavento Islands

We were in Tarrafal for 12 days. Great place, upscale amenities. Beautiful terrace with great views of the bay of Tarrafal and wonderful sunsets in the evening.

The house is amazing and same as the pictures! We couldn’t have been happier with the choice we did and we would definitely recommend it to anyone. Hector and Dyna were always available and extremely nice.. we will surely come back! Thank you for the amazing experience🥰

If you’re looking for a travel home away from home , this place is 100% peaceful and comfortable to stay in . You’ll settle in immediately and feel at home, the view from your balcony is a beautiful picture you’ll take back with you forever . The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet also…mostly easy to locate and yes there’s a walkable distance to some popular restaurants and beaches and high end chill out spots ….you’ll find the back end road. My experience visiting for the first time was great, the apartment is so clean and stylish as you’d have imagined and looked just as listed. The host is very responsive anytime you need some assistance plus the young man assisting for errands MUSA is a wonderful human being to get to know. I will visit here anytime I have the opportunity if it’s available . Never miss a wonderful time at Samuels .

We had a very nice stay at Luiz's house. Luiz came personally to greet us and let us check in early, which was much, much appreciated after 20+ hours and 3 consecutive flights from Detroit. The house is as in the photos, with a nice view over breaking waves. There is everything in the house we needed, even our favorite home appliance, the blender! We used it to make amazing local fruit smoothies. The area is very safe - there is the Spanish ambassadorial residence right in front of the house, the US is to your right, and the French right behind you. I cannot imagine a safer area anywhere :) We walked everywhere, even to the Plateau (takes about 1.5 hrs of nice walk mostly by the sea). There are grocery shops within 10-15 minutes' walking distance, nice cafes, and banks. (Note that you cannot exchange money in the banks, unless you have a local bank account, but we found a tourist center in the square where we exchanged money at an excellent rate, much better than the airport.)

Sidi and his place were great. Tastefully designed and a prime location in the Plateau neighborhood. Sidi was really helpful and met us quite late for check in. His recommendations for local eateries worked out really well for us. It was the ideal start to our time in Cabo Verde.

The stay was perfect. We enjoyed breakfast every morning. The accommodation is very large, with sea views and sunsets. The natural pools are a 30-minute walk away, and the pretty black sand beach is 10min away. The village is very cute and the locals very welcoming. Zeza responds to messages very quickly, and made our stay a lot easier by giving us information about the activities and she even booked us a day with a guide to hike in Serra Malagueta. Thanks again!

We really like the apartment. Everything was very clean, it's spacious and very cozy. The location near the beach is a great plus.

We had a few issues with the listing that the co-host promply resolved and even offered a better stay in another airbnb however that didn't work for us since we chose the place for the location but luckily we were able to work together to solve the issues and ended up having a lovely stay. The location is the best part, close to restaurants, hospital, bus stop and various stores! Jessica was always available to help and Kendra was attentive as well.

This unit looked exactly as the pictures. Check in was very easy and flexible. The host responded in a timely manner. When I first arrived, there was a few issues but they were resolved within a few hours. The host is willing to work with you to get whatever is you need.

The apartment was clean and perfect for our family. Location was good and check in and check out was super easy. Thank you!

Bino was a great host! He was very responsive whenever we had questions, and he also gave us helpful advice and recommendations. The apartment is very nice, spacious, and the outdoor area is lovely with a beautiful view. However, if we could make a small comment, the doors didn’t lock, except for the front door. Overall, we highly recommend this host!

Ze was very accommodating with my late check in 01:30am due to my delayed flight in. Also after I locked myself out of the apartment his sister was quick to provide as spare key.

Our stay had some great aspects, but also a few challenges. The hosts were kind enough to let us into the house before check-in time, which we appreciated. However, the house wasn’t cleaned upon arrival, and while we were told it would be done before 3 PM, it wasn’t. The location was a bit tricky to find at first, and the WiFi signal didn’t quite reach the bedroom. Also, the bed had no fitted sheet, and the top sheet kept slipping off, which made sleeping less comfortable. That said, the house itself was nice, and with a few improvements in cleanliness and amenities, it would be a great place to stay. Thanks to the hosts for their hospitality!
