THE HOUSE AT THE END OF THE WORLD. No, not quite but nice away from the everyday hustle and bustle. Our holiday property ( house with 2 apartments with respective separate entrance ) is located on the outskirts of Benneckenstein , right on the Rappbode. 4500 sqm property also leads to the campfire , camping and in winter for tobogganing on your own toboggan slope. The house only serves as a holiday property So it doesn't have a permanent tenant. Since dogs are allowed in both apartments, we ask to be considerate to each other.

Our apartment is located in Hohegeiß, a district of Braunlage. Hohegeiß is centrally located in the Harz Mountains at 640 meters above sea level. It is a place of relaxation for vacationers seeking peace and quiet. In summer, it is ideal for hiking and mountain biking. In winter, ski resorts are available in the village and nearby. There are excursion possibilities, for example, to Goslar, Wernigerode and Quedlinburg. The guest fee of €3.00/night for adults is charged in cash on site.

The apartment is 36 square meters and is located in a well-kept 12-party house in a central location (about 300 m from the center). We took over this in 2018 and refurbished it (kitchen, completely new furniture and good sofa bed). It is a living room with kitchenette and dining area, a separate bedroom and a small bathroom. Since we (4 adults + 1 schoolchild) regularly use our apartment ourselves, it is quite well equipped (sufficient dishes, coffee maker, TV). No Wi-Fi!

Our cozy and popular attic apartment is available again for guests after I lived in it myself for a year! The apartment has two bedrooms and also has a sofa bed (1.20 m bed surface) in the living room and is well suited for up to 5 people. There is also a fully equipped, enclosed kitchen, a bathroom with tub, shower and window and an extra toilet. In the living room there is a dining table for 6 people.

The apartment is ideal if you are traveling with small children. The children's room was absolutely awesome and the toys were accepted with enthusiasm. But the apartment also offers all the amenities for adults: plenty of space, large, bright rooms with high ceilings, a well-equipped kitchen, a large bathroom with bathtub and shower and a comfortable sofa. Nicole's kindness and helpfulness definitely matched the great ambiance and made for a happy stay.

Everything was great! Thorsten welcomed us in a very friendly way and was always approachable for us, so that all our questions could be clarified quickly and easily.

We (5 adults+2 children) had a very nice stay at the chalet. There was plenty of space for us. Everything was very clean and we felt completely comfortable. The children were delighted with the many toys available. Beds were very comfortable. Only the sofa bed was not quite as comfortable. The chalet is very quiet, but is a good starting point for great excursions. We were very satisfied and can absolutely recommend the chalet for up to 7-8 people.

The vacation home Berg-Zeit is something special. Old and modern designs are in harmony here. The living/kitchen area invites you to cook and play together. The rustic square table is ideal for 6 people. We were very happy to arrive back in the mountain time after each excursion. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and also designed in the rustic/modern style. Communication with Dietmar was possible at all times and there was no question/concern that remained unanswered. Thank you
