The edge of the forest and the starting point "Wanderbares Deutschland" are just a few minutes' walk away and the adventure playground for the little ones is also just 100 m away.

Our farm is a real oasis of well-being surrounded by forest and extensive fields. Some lakes are also within walking distance. We have great hiking trails and bike tours in the Hassbergen. An absolute place to arrive and feel good and an ideal starting point for day trips, for example to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bamberg.

When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. Have you always wanted to know what it's like to sleep in an old horse stable? Then leave your tent at home, bring your sleeping bag, and give it a try! We offer a rustic and simple place to sleep in the middle of nature. We are a small campground, so you also have the option of using the shower, sink and toilet as well as a mini kiosk in the sanitary building. The barrel sauna is available for cold evenings (for a fee).
