We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air and free spirit and are open to guests. The bake house, with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and completely timeless comfort, is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, purely minimalist! Adventure instead of luxury.

The house has a 22KW charging station for electric vehicles (seperately charged). The house is equiped with 2 bedrooms, 1 master bedroom and 1 bedroom with 3 beds, 1 specifically for a child the other two will fit an adult. A baby bed is available free of charge. bring your own, toilet paper, cooking oil and burning wood!

Where the fox and rabbit say "good night," our 3 small wooden huts are located on the Weserradweg between the center of Wahmbeck and the town of Bad Karlshafen. Our cabins are intended for people looking for a special place to stay for a short time. Each cottage for 2 people is 3 × 3 meters and very lovingly and comfortably furnished. One night including breakfast, bed linen and towels that you might not forget so quickly!

Vacation in the countryside

On our listed 300 year old farm we offer: two separate apartments for each 4 persons, with kitchen-living room, bathroom and bedroom with two floors each and about 50 square meters each. We are situated in the Südeichsfeld, a plush hilly low mountain landscape. Nature and surroundings invite you to hike or cycle. Draisine riding, visiting castles, climbing forest, a visit to the bear park Worbis or excursions to nearby half-timbered cities are popular excursion destinations.

The direct access to the forest invites you for hiking and relaxing walks. Along the three rivers there are great bike routes. The historic old town (20 min) and shopping facilities (5 min) are also within walking distance. Free parking is available on the street.

You will stay in a cozy, very bright basement apartment in a wooden house built according to building biology guidelines. The apartment has its own entrance, a beautiful terrace and the garden (fire pit) can also be used. In addition to a kitchen with an oven and fridge, a washing machine is also available. The house is located in a quiet residential area with nice neighbors. The small town, with good infrastructure, can be reached on foot in five minutes.

The sleeping barrels with fence and an animal-like cozy sleeping space, each equipped with two beds with 1.40 x 2 m or 1.20 x 2 m lying area and can accommodate up to two adults and two children. Fly screens ensure that uninvited guests stay outside at the table during a cozy reading lesson or playing or cloning. Even on cooler days, radiators ensure that there is cozy warmth in the barrel. Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
