Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Sofia

The PERFECT place for me to adjust to the long flight and seven hour time difference. I was able to sleep in the cutest, most adorable cottage. Comfortable bed, nice hot shower, very quiet neighborhood. Super cute kitchen with everything needed for cooking and a wonderful grocery store less than two short blocks away. In the opposite direction, is the charming village filled with green parks, cafes, coffee houses, cute shops, a green grocer and more. The hostess was magnificent !! Kind, attentive, well organized. I enjoyed my stay in this beautiful cottage. THANK YOU !!

We spent a lovely winter weekend in this cozy two story house, where it was warm and cozy inside despite the weather outside. Plenty of room for 5 adults in the 3 bedrooms upstairs (lots of pillows and blankets on the comfortable beds). A large bathroom on each floor. Enough space downstairs, with a sunken living room (couches, TV), dining room table and kitchen (with utensils etc. to do a moderate amount of cooking easily but it wouldn't be easy to cook all meals). Location is great: close to the Metro (which is really easy to use), buses and trams, though Sofia is super walkable. Grocery stores for all basic needs right across the street, supermarkets in walking distance, cafes and restaurants closer to the pedestrian Vitosha Blvd which is nearby. Our hosts were terrific. Proactive in making sure everything worked out, answering our queries quickly and thoroughly, friendly and informative. Definitely a super base for visiting Sofia.

There are a lot of positives about Joannas listing. Being fully detached, the place itself is very peaceful and private. It's a very well equipped apartment, pretty much any utility you can think of is available. Temperature control is excellent, the air conditioning is very effective either to heat or cool and the shower water pressure and heat is extremely high. If you are visiting Sofia for tourism the location is fine, there is nearby metro/bus station and taxis are cheap if coming from euro/gbp countries. Though crossing to the east of Sofia from here is fairly long. The area itself has walkable supermarkets and shopping mall. Joanna is helpful and responds quickly. It's a good property, hard to fault.

Fantastic space and host! The location is fantastic wand you can walk around easily and it’s very close to the metro! The hosts are very responsive and friendly, offered lots of useful tips of the city!

I spent 8 wonderful days and nights in Anita’s tasteful, bright and open-spaced place. The efficient heating was essential with the chilly outside temperatures. The shower was one of the best I’ve experienced. The house is situated within a short walk from an array of restaurants, cafes and shops, without another tourist in sight! Would thoroughly recommend Anita’s place.

We had a wonderful stay at Evelina’s place. It’s a very nice apartment- convenient location, well-decorated super clean apartment, comfortable beds and the kitchen had everything we needed. Evelina as a host is wonderful - provided clear instructions about the check-in, always proactive and responsive and went the extra mile to book an early morning taxi for us. We couldn’t have asked for anything more or better. It was simply the best.

great place close to Vitosha and the NDK

Alexander’s place is situated in a vibrant and interesting community—by our last day we were weaving our way to and back home from our favorite spots like a couple of pros (including their bakery, Altruist)! Alexander and Miryana are A+, so friendly, responsive and charming. We will remember them and their city always!

Small and nice, a beautiful place with everything you need. There is really everything - from basic supplies, such as oil, sugar (even coffee), detergent, to things that are not obvious - toothbrushes/paste, umbrella, even sunglasses, first aid kit, etc. You only need your own clothes:) Close to Central Metro, a new elevator in the house. Nearby is a nice playground. Everything great, anytime.

Martin's place was great! I had to work my first day there and it provided a comfortable space with reliable wifi. When I was finally able to go out, it was located about 15 minutes away from the center but the flat itself was quiet and cozy. Martin was very quick to respond and helpful. I would recommend his place!

This place is a little gem in a part of the city that feels very local (right next to the Women’s Market). We were a group of six and perfectly comfortable during our short stay. We appreciated that it was spotlessly clean and the attention to detail in the interior design. And we absolutely loved the view on both sides, especially the nearby church. The main bedroom is spacious (and even has its own sunroom!) and the other beds in the shared living room space were comfortable (including the sofa beds). We weren’t there during the daytime but at night it was a very peaceful neighbourhood and yet close to local restaurants, cafes and more. Bobby was very responsive and also gave us some recommendations for places to eat and have coffee. I’d definitely return to his apartment if I visit Sofia again.

The apartment was very cozy with a big terrace and a beautiful sunset view. The communication was very fast and the host was very helpful. Would definetly recommend.

Nikola's place is located right in the city centre, with most tourist spots within walkable distance. Nikola was very responsive to our messages and was very accommodating to our requests. Do note that the property is located on the 5th(?) floor of an apartment building and access is only by stairs, so it may not be suitable for people with accessibility needs.

Me and my wife were delighted of this beautiful place! The area was very familiar to me- I grew up in this neighborhood: this was the reason to choose it in the first place. We felt like we were in home like years ago!! Biliana described the place very well, and everything matched exactly. The apartment was extremely clean, and equipped with all amenities. The surrounding area is full of attractions in walking distance. We highly recommend this apartment to everyone who wants to have a great time in the heart of Sofia!

Rossen's place is a just perfect! The apartment is incredibly convenient and located in a prime area, with free parking available, which is a huge plus. It’s within walking distance of the center, making it easy to explore the local attractions. The beds are extremely comfortable, and the quiet ambiance ensures a good night's sleep. Everything was spotless clean, which added to the overall comfort of the stay. One of the standout features is the presence of two bathrooms, which adds to the convenience, especially for larger groups or families. Overall, the apartment is well-equipped with everything you might need for your stay, making it a perfect choice for anyone looking for comfort and convenience.
