Chalet vacation rentals in Skye

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Breavalla Chalets. The inside of the chalet was well appointed with lovely views. Ian’s instructions on how to get to the chalet were extremely helpful and very much appreciated.

We had three amazing days here. The cabin is beautifully presented inside and out and the views towards the sea and over to Skye are incredible. The cuckoo was ever present nearby and we heard snipe drumming amongst the swooping lapwing. The location is perfect, I can't recommend Steven's place strongly enough. Thank you very much.

A cosy lodge in a beautiful part of Scotland. Plenty of space and the extra facilities in the games room and pool were great additions. It is in a remote location which may take adjusting to. The beds were comfortable, kitchen and appliances decent. Would happily stay here again.

Very nice peaceful spot

The location is to die for. Surrounded by the highland mountains. Beautiful. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back again. The cabin was perfect for our needs and so handy having the pub next door.

Nic & Lindsay were incredibly kind hosts- they even gave us homemade scones and traditional Scottish treats. We had a very relaxing stay!

A wonderful Cabin in the middle of the woods over looking the loch, a peaceful out of the way place right in a prime location for Loch Ness

David and his wife were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They checked in with us during our stay and were keen to see that we were happy and had everything we needed. David also recommended some local walks which were great. Lovely hosts and a lovely place. We fully recommend.

We had a lovely stay. The cabin was perfect, the view spectacular and dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Staff were helpful and super friendly. I only wish our plans would have permitted a longer stay.

first time been to this area, the view was stunning, hot tub clean and hot, lodge was cosy and the adjoining hotel was the icing on the cake with excellent staff and service - where we had a great evening meal and a few pints overlooking the loch.

The lodge on the loch was breathtaking, from the sights on the water to the mountains in the distance. Our lodge had a perfect view of the sunset over the mountains. The hot tub was clean and great for relaxation as we watched the sun slowly settle below the horizon of the mountainscape. Smoking is not permitted in the lodge but is allowed on the back porch overlooking the loch. The staff were very helpful and ready to assist with any requests. We were allowed an additional hour for check out. The lodge did not have any napkins or paper towels so be sure to bring your own; but it was well equipped with cooking and drinking necessities and a dishwasher. The lodge was clean and comfortable with a flat screen tv and 2 leather couches adding comfort from inside. The midges come out at sundown so be aware that they can become troublesome. Bring bug repellent and plenty of sunblock. The rooms can get warm on hot days. Our stay was incredible and a great experience.

facilities were good. easy walk to roam west restaurant for dinner. easy walk to the Corran ferry. Many midges outside the chalet.

my review: What a gorgeous lodge. We went up as a family of 6 and 2 dogs. Seil Lodge is beautifully decorated and so clean! Plenty of space, all appliances worked really well, wi-fi was great (fast), shower was amazing (especially after a 12 hour drive up). We were greeted with a warm lodge- heating on. Dogs were greeted with water bowls, treats and blankets (so impressed, extra effort to make it dog friendly, it’s so lovely). Jim and Pauline were great at responding to all questions we had. They had some great recommendations with where to go and what to do. I honestly can’t recommend Jim and Pauline enough. So many little touches that made it feel like home from home. We had such a lovely family experience, lots of happy memories were made. We hope to come back again soon.

We had a nice one night stay at the lodges. The Bedromms are little bit small If you have two Cases with you. Arivall and Check in was very easy.

The caravan is on the banks of Loch Shiel - super views from the window. Quiet and relaxing. It was roomy and suited all our needs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This is our third time staying at the Gun Club. We love the location in beautiful, peaceful surroundings and with a large, secure, enclosed area for dogs. The place is always clean and tidy and we can just turn up and set up home for a week. There is plenty of space for everything and the facilities are just what we need. We look forward to coming back time and time again!

We loved our stay at Karen's caravan, it was cosy, welcoming and spotlessly clean for a dog friendly caravan. We loved the location in Acharacle with lots of beautiful places to visit nearby, with a pleasant walk to the pub and shop.

Tulloch Farm is the perfect location to explore Lochaber and the Cairgorms with easy access to all the main roads. It is so peaceful on the farm. There are well laid out walks and paths around the farm and by the river which were perfect for us. We were so fortunate with the weather during our stay, but the cottage itself is cosy and warm with lots of games and books. Our children especially loved the well kitted games room onsite. Excellent recycling facilities too. We throughly recommend the Retreat at Tulloch Farm.

A relaxing stay with stunning loch views and a cozy atmosphere. Hosts Osh and Ash are welcoming and thoughtful. There are horse on the grounds which added to the charm of the property.

We had a wonderful stay at the cozy Bunkie <3 parking was so easy, the few is amazing. The cabin adventurous and we had all we needed! it's still in the middle of the nature, so be prepared for wild insects in the Highlands ;) we would recommend the stay.

Can’t say enough good things about this place! It’s so gorgeous, peaceful, beautiful inside and out, so cozy and comfortable! Osh met us on arrival and let us in, telling us everything we needed to know and gave some recommendations also! Very kind host. Having the loch out every window and being able to be surrounded by the sweetest farm animals was absolute heaven! Loved every minute!

Chris’s cabin is simply perfect. It is very private with the most wonderful outlook. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, yet still felt comfortable to relax in. As a host, Chris is also excellent. He was really proactive with his communication, and very responsive. We very much hope to return to Sealview Lodge.
