This newly renovated cozy cabin is located in the middle of the forest in the Småland highlands. The cottage is close to hiking trails and lakes and by car close to the unique wooden town Eksjö, the moose park in Skullaryd and skurugata. If you want to go on a day trip, it's an hour to Astrid Lindgren's world. All of the rooms in the cottage are newly renovated with care to preserve the feeling of this soldier cottage from the 18th century. There are 4 beds and a sofa bed. Fishing is available as you have access to a boat about 1.5 km from the cabin.

A perfect place for those who want to have a lovely holiday with family, a weekend with your partner or a quiet and peaceful place to work. This cabin you will find next to the petting lake in the middle of the Småland forests about 30 minutes outside Jönköping. You will find your own jetty by boat 100 meters through the forest from the cabin. 3-minute walk, you also have a beautiful public swimming area with summer café. Approximately 4 km from the cottage there is a grocery store, pizzeria and train station.

One bedroom with a luxury bed for two and one room with a very comfortable foldable bed sofa for two and a kitchen area. Wood stove sauna, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The host lives in a house about 50 meters further away from the beach. The kitchen is for simple cooking, the use of a frying pan is not allowed, but charcoal barbecue is available.

The garden is a meadow and behind the house starts the forest. In the vicinity of the house there are two ponds and 700m away there is a lake. In the lake you can go down to swimming and fishing. We have a small boat that you can rent per day, SEK 75 You have neighbors but at an appropriate distance.

Note that bed sheets and towels are not included but can be rented for 100 SEK per person. Pillows and duvets are included.

Lovely Little House, beautiful interior and nice details like a bag for grocery shopping and fly screens that you don’t get with every airbnb. Loved the little garden, very very quiet and Maria was very nice and helpful during our stay.

This vacation home overlooking the lake was even more beautiful than we had promised from the photos. We enjoyed the days very much and the children (2-3 years old) had a lot of fun on the trampoline, on the small beach by the lake or with the toys that were available in the house. The house is equipped with everything you need and is very tastefully decorated. Everything was clean and we felt at home. The two SUPs that we were allowed to use were also a lot of fun for us adults. Within a radius of about 30-60 minutes by car you could make beautiful trips, such as to Bullerbü, Katthult or an elk safari. We would 100% recommend the place and would be happy to come back.
