The lucky ones may spot a sea eagle couple living nearby, or maybe the beaver down by the water's edge? Deer, squirrels and foxes also live here. The cabin is from 2009 and is great to use all year round. Four-wheel drive is recommended in winter.

The cabin is small but you have access to most of the facilities as well as a separate toilet and outdoor shower with hot water. Note: when the frost comes, the outdoor shower is closed but there is still hot water inside. A short drive inside the field and you will come to the swimming area and jetty in Røsvika. There are nice hiking areas right outside and active wildlife.

Small cabin on island

"Kjempehytta" is an Idyllic small cabin located on a beautiful island in Lake Toke in Bamble, Telemark. A perfect place to see the the starry night sky, and enjoy nature. In summer you can go swimming an fishing in the lake. To get to the island you need to padle a canoe. The canoe and two lifejackets are included in the rent. Great hiking areas with fishing waters, mountain peaks and marked hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Lifjellstua (restaurant) is located 150 m from the cabin.
