Cottage vacation rentals in Skidaway Island

This is a super cute and cozy little cottage in a newer RV resort. Everything was really clean and felt brand new. It’s in a great spot—about 20–25 minutes from downtown Savannah, but nice and quiet, so it’s perfect for relaxing and getting good sleep. The WiFi was great too, no issues with streaming or browsing. We’ll definitely look to stay here again next time we’re in Savannah. Highly recommend!

We had a great experience. It worked well for our two families and it had a private space in the back. The host was very responsive and responded immediately.

This was our first RV resort stay, so I wasn't really expecting such a beautiful place. It truly is a "resort". We were visiting our grand-twins for their first birthday. They live in Springfield above Savannah, and the location was only 24 easy miles. The two bedrooms tiny house was comfortable for four adults and our pup. We had everything we need. What I was surprised most about was how quiet it was, and there were a lot of people camping. The amenities were top-notch. We even had food trucks Friday and Saturday night. How awesome is that? The ladies who work there were super friendly and helpful. We have stayed at several different places while visiting our family in Savannah, but this is going to be our go-to place. We loved it.

Loved staying at Missy’s place on Tybee Island. Especially loved the enclosed porch with TV and 2 swinging couches. Missy provided everything we could possibly need in her cozy adorably decorated place. The hot tub was great! She even provided a golf cart so we were able to explore most of the beautiful Tybee island without paying parking fees. Missy gave us recommendations for restaurants. The Crab Shack was a fun place to eat with great food and some alligators and birds to see. Definitely recommend Missy’s Salty Mermaid Couples retreat and hope to visit again one day. Missy truly is the hostess with the mostest.

We loved our week long stay. The kitchen is fully stocked. The leave was clean and with great instruction the pool and spa were easy to use and a fabulous addition to our beach days. Internet was little spotty. Wished we could have recycled. Grill is small but perfect for the 2 of us. Absolutely amazing and responsive host. This was a splurge for us and we’re glad we did it!

Missy was indeed, the hostess with the absolute MOSTESS! She was on top of every little detail or issue (which we didn’t have any, but needed some detergent for the dishwasher and her son was right on top of it!). She has truly created a magical oasis full of such biodiversity in a small space; it’s like being transported to another time and place of peace and harmony. We made multiple skink friends by the pool, a raccoon named ‘Mac’ and wonderful neighbors (of the human variety), too! The location is perfection in a bottle; everything is walkable, bike-able or golf cart accessible. If you want to hit the beach, take the bike right down 6th to the dock and Viola! The pool and hot tub were our favorite spots to kick back and relax, then it was off to a few of our favorite foodie gems: The Seawolf (amazing cocktails and vegan noms) and The Crab Shack (prawns were AMAZING, rescued parrot fun and gator watching galore). We miss The Salty Mermaid already! Thank you, Missy! 🌊🧜‍♀

Lauren was very responsive and very detailed with everything. The house was clean,spacious,cute and had everything you could ask for! I would definitely come back and recommend to friends.

Jenny’s cottage was simply adorable! I traveled from California to visit my daughter and her new husband. We were exploring Savannah and the Tybee area. The cottage was centrally located to both. Only about 20 minutes to historic Savannah. The cottage is beautifully appointed with a lovely family room and a vintage chic kitchen. The bedrooms were very nice and the beds were very comfortable with a king bed in the master and a comfy trundle in the second bedroom. Jenny was so responsive and easy to contact. We had a few requests and she responded so quickly and generously. She had wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. The grounds were lovely with a sitting area and fire pit. We enjoyed a walk through the neighboring areas. It was very peaceful and quiet. We would definitely stay at Jenny’s cottage again and highly recommend her property to anyone visiting the area. Thank you Jenny for hosting us! We’re so glad we found you!

Her place had everything we were looking for - great location - easy access to restaurants, stores and the beach, as well as a peaceful, beautiful setting. Also, a big plus on vacation … the beds are extremely comfortable!!

Loved the private fenced yard. Comfortable home with everything you could want. Home is 25 min from Hilton Head beaches, but the local food is top tier, so don’t sleep on them. Lovely porch, patio, and kitchen space.

Such a great location with a nice sized dog-friendly yard, too! Kevin was an excellent communicator and the whole experience went smoothly. Would recommend and come again!

Tennille’s place is amazing. So peaceful. If you’re looking for a retreat from the madness and enjoy quiet, beautiful beaches this is the place for you. There were about 20 other people total spread out down the beach on Memorial Day weekend while we were there! This tiny house doesn’t feel tiny at all. It’s crazy how well it is designed. Bikes/Easy golf cart rentals will get you anywhere on the entire island you need to go. Would def book this place again, even if our kids are with us next time.

We loved our stay at the dreamsicle cottage! The beds were VERY comfortable, even the bunk beds. We loved the outdoor showers, they are so convenient. Kids enjoyed the tired swing and are already begging for one at home! Everything was exactly as described and the home is very well stocked with just about everything you need. The host is wonderful and very helpful. He always answered messages within a few minutes. Would definitely stay again.

Our cottage was perfection! Beautiful, clean, very well stocked, wonderful location complete with pelican and dolphin sitings, friendly neighbors, very serene & that intoxicating porch swing!!!! The owner was so kind and we even met him in person when he delivered a golf cart to us ( to replace one)…we appreciated that personal touch! Five stars all around… my friends and I now know why this peaceful island can “get in your blood,” making you want to go back..and, this cottage is the perfect place to go back to!!!! Thank you for the stay!

We had a such great weekend at Keila's home! We arrived late at night to plenty of lights on, cold drinks in the fridge and snacks on the counter, all very much appreciated! The kitchen was well stocked with all your cooking needs and a cute little coffee station. We appreciated the washer and dryer after a weekend of exploring it was nice to go home with clean clothes. The home is located approximately 20 minutes from downtown and is an easy drive to get there. Keila was very responsive to my questions and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Thanks again for a great stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and overall, Savannah was fantastic and unbelievably charming. The apartment was clean, spacious, and presented exactly as described. The only hiccup we rain into was the lock/app system to get into the apartment; we were locked out at one point but Charles provided us with alternatives for entry. The location is just outside of the hustle and bustle of the city, yet in excellent walking distance of Forsyth Park and excellent restaurants and shopping. Savannah has a piece of our heart, so we will definitely return and would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay on Tybee Island! Grateful Cottage was exactly as described. It was super clean and stocked with all sorts of useful things: beach towels, sunscreen, beach chairs and umbrellas, snacks. The location was great…walking or biking distance to the beach, grocery store, and lots of restaurants. We highly recommend a stay a Jennifer’s home!

We absolutely loved our stay here with our 4 year old and 6 year old. The cottage was even cuter in person and felt both tucked away and connected to everything. The walk to the beach was easy (especially with the provided bikes) and we were able to easily get around Sea Pines by bike. (We rented from Sea Pines which made it super easy.) The kitchen was well stocked and we loved meals on the screened in porch. The pool was lovely on hot afternoons! Highly recommend for an easy stay in Hilton Head.

Their attentiveness and helpfulness truly exceeded our expectations, making our stay memorable and stress-free. We loved the location and were pleased with the spaciousness. The location was perfect for us. We thought the price was fine but we expected to have additional toilet paper and paper towels included but it was something we purchased at the store. It was a lovely place to stay except for the pillows on the couch were dirty as well as one of the cushions was ripped on the smaller couch. The planes overhead were quite loud, but I don’t know what you can do about that. The pressure in the master bath shower was very low.

The best thing about the house for us was proximity to the beach. It is one block from the entrance to Burke’s Beach. Beach chairs do not come with the home but rentals are available on the beach. The home was very clean and some basic pantry amenities were available on arrival. The front porch is great for morning coffee, book reading, or family dinner. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.
