Welcome to a historical beach house on the shore of Väddö canal! We are renting out the upper half of it - the spacious upper floor with a private entrance. The story of this beautiful house dates back to the 19 century when the school teachers from Stockholm used to spend their holidays here. Beautiful back yard with a sitting area facing and with access to the sea (Väddöviken). 5 km to lovely Grisslehamn with the nearest grocery store, restaurants, marina, luxury spa hotel and ferry to Åland.

I närområdet finns gårdsbutiker, cafeér och restauranger inom cykelavstånd. I huset finns flera kakelugnar, öppen spis samt vedspis. Stort badrum med dusch och vc samt (bastu mot extra avgift ) på övre plan. Köket som är ett stort charmigt lantkök med modern utrustning såsom integrationshäll, diskmaskin, kyl och frys

Mysigt hus från 1900 talets början i Herräng. Bara några minuter till havet och bad på klippor eller strand. Medel standard och finns allt man behöver. Till Herräng är det 6 km och till Hallstavik där det finns fler affärer, apotek, systembolag m.m är det 16 km. Huset ligger i ett område mellan naturreservat så det finns otroliga naturupplevelser för den som vill. Vi har en grillplats vid havet som man kan nyttja. Vill man fiska går det bra. Lite inne och ute spel finns samt studsmatta.

Här kan du skriva/läsa ostörd, vandra i skogarna o bara vila o njuta. Uteplats i morgonsol. Cyklar finns att låna, grill, grillkol, solstolar. Stilla o tyst men höns, galande tupp o ankor finns hos oss. 3,5 km till frekvent buss mot Norrtälje - Sthlm o Grisslehamn, till Roslagsleden o till fina bad. 30-40 min körväg färjeläge för Åland-Finland.

Kombinerat sovrum (2*80 sängar) och vardagsrum övre plan. Ca 180-200 cm takhöjd på nedre plan i köket. 5 minuters promenad till mysigt strandbad i sjö. Lantligt med hästar inpå knuten. 300 m från roslagsleden. 5 km bad i havet. 9 km till Älmsta med Ica och restauranger. 25 km till Norrtälje.

Nära till Kapellskär och utflykter till Åland. Huset kan tyvärr inte bokas för fester.

Båtsmanstorp i lantligt Roslagen. Närhet till djur och natur. Varsamt renoverat torp med vedspis och öppen spis. Lummig, avskild och stor trädgård med många kultursorter av växter. Närmaste sjö är Erken där det finns flera olika badplatser och natursköna områden. Vid torpet finns vedeldad bastu. Det finns bra busskommunikation till exempelvis Stockholm eller Grisslehamn för dagsutflykter. Norrtälje stad är också ett trevligt utflyktsmål.

Mysig stuga invid skogen

We had a wonderful stay at Magdalena's magical home. The location really is quite special - backing onto a forest, it feels like nature is all around (we saw deer several times from the decking!). The gardens are beautiful too - with raspberries, blueberries and blackcurrants to pick, as well as thyme, mint and dill. There's a good lawn for badminton and croquet too. The home itself is spacious and beautifully decorated, with lots of nice places to sit on the terraces outside (including hammock chairs). Eight minutes walk away is a gorgeous lake (not too cold!), and perfect for swimming. Magdalena is very responsive and friendly, and greeted us as we arrived. All in all, very highly recommended!

A Perfect Summer Getaway for the Family We spent two wonderful weeks in this beautiful holiday home with our children and dog. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the tasteful decor and the thoughtful design. It is clear that a lot of care has gone into creating this space. The location offers remarkable peace and tranquility, allowing us to relax and unwind far from everyday stress. We loved being close to nature, enjoying the calm and serenity that the area provided. A highlight was the nearby lake, with its clear water and idyllic setting, which made for perfect summer days. We also loved the small café nearby, Otto, where the friendly owners welcomed us with homemade treats. Overall, this holiday home is an ideal retreat for families looking for a peaceful and cozy environment. We are grateful for these memorable days and would love to return!

Wir (meine Partnerin und ich) haben eine ganze Woche in diesem Airbnb verbracht. Es ist der perfekte Ort um die Natur zu geniessen und sich zu entspannen. Lesen, Spiele spielen, Beeren pflücken, etc.. Eine wunderschöne Gegend! Einkaufen und auch andere Möglichkeiten in der nähe mit dem Auto erreichbar. Wir verliessen die Unterkunft nur schweren Herzens und können sie nur weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Huset är en lika fin pärla som dess värd, Mathilda. Huset var väl planerat, med fina sovrum och ett mindre allrum på övre plan. I husets allrum på nedre våning, återfanns en rymlig matplats, en öppen spis och mysiga fotöljer sköna att sjunka ner i. Altanen var rymlig och utsikten mot havet blev till pricken över i:et för hela vistelsen. Läget är fantastiskt, med närhet till underbara badklippor, Hotel Havsbaden, med spa, Eckerölinjen till Åland, hamnen i Grisslehamn, med fiskbod och keramik-/konsthandel, ICA, restauranger och Brödboden. Allt på gångavstånd, mellan 2 - 15 minuter. Mathilda, som värd, var både lättsam, behjälplig och informativ. En riktig pärla!

Otroligt ställe! Vi hade en fantastisk helg i detta boende. Vi lagade god mat i ett väl utrustat kök, bastade, sov gott, njöt av naturen genom att kall bada och gå långa promenader. Huset har allt man behöver och Fredrik var en otroligt hjälpsam, välkomnande och trevlig värd. Vi rekommenderar detta ställe och vi hoppas kunna komma tillbaka.
