Cabin vacation rentals in Skagafjörður

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Wasmachine!!! Vaatwasmachine, broodrooster, met als kers op de taart de sauna en hot tub. Alles was erg schoon en goed verzorgd met aandacht voor details. De koffie gelegenheid maakte het verblijf helemaal af.

Amazing views and so many cute animals all around. Sheep, horses, cats, dogs all came to the cabin balcony for petting. we even saw several whales out in the ocean. Easy to spot, just look around the whale spotting ships.

A very cozy and peaceful cabin in a beautiful surrounding. We were 7 people in total, and we fit very well in the cabin.

Cute and cozy cabin in a beautiful valley. The hot tub by the river looks amazing, too bad we didn’t have time to try it out. Daniel sent us clear instructions and was very friendly when we met in person.

Was a very cozy and clean cabin! Beautiful surroundings and relaxing in the hot tub was the perfect way to wind down after a long drive. Staff were very kind and made check in very easy. Look forward to our next visit!

Madara’s place was beautiful! The outside surroundings were incredible and we had a perfect blue sky day. The inside was adorable and very well maintained. We soaked in the hot tub for a bit after checking in, then used the washing machine. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed in the morning. Follow Madara’s directions, as Google Maps is just a bit off. This was our favorite stay so far in Iceland!

Well made, new cabin. One of about 6 in a cluster. The upstairs attic space can get hot. Adjust the heat / open the window as soon as you get in to make it comfortable to sleep. The ladder to the upstairs beds is steep, be carefully with young kids. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely cabin in the middle of nowhere. Our cabin was number 3a and looks better than the actual photos. Warm and cozy both rooms bathroom and main room. It has a big window great to see the Northern lights (although we couldn’t see them). The place was clean and had a comfy bed.

Such a beautiful and private location. We thought the cabin was very homely and comfortable. Enjoyed our stay very much! The only suggestion I’d make is to amend the listing to say it has an oven as opposed to a microwave, because we brought food to microwave thinking that’s the option we had. Such a great place though and we would definitely stay again 😊

this cabin is a recent build in a stunning location and nicely staged. the beds were comfortable and the linens all high end. the small kitchenette is suitable for very light meals, i.e. soup and sandwiches. a very lovely cabin in a peaceful setting. .

Clean, looks very new, good beds. Great environment, beautiful valley with great hiking oppurtunities. I really recommend booking the breakfast, we got f.ex. among other things smoked salmon and smoked trout, on freshly baked bread, yummy :)

Nous avons passé une merveilleuse soirée dans ce chaleureux petit chalet propre, bien rangé et bien équipé, dans un environnement calme et avec une belle vue sur les montagnes environnantes! Arrivée simple et pratique avec la boite à clé. En plus, la source d'eau chaude au centre des chalets (partagée) était vraiment très agréable. Quel dommage que nous n'ayons passés là qu'une seule nuit, on aurait aimé en profiter davantage ! Je recommande vivement

Very cozy cottage! Enjoyed waking up to the Mountain View’s and animals on the property! Bathroom was clean and host provided extra towels and blankets!
