Experience the serenity of Northern Iceland and fill your days with the endless possibilities for adventure that Skagafjörður has to offer. Our cottages are nestled together up on the hill only a short walking distance from the centre of Varmahlíð. In town, you will find all the services you need: tourist information, grocery shop, restaurant, petrol station, ATM, swimming pool, and more. From the natural hot tub at the center of the well-maintained cottage site, you can enjoy the golden light of the midnight sun or watch the northern lights. You will stay in one of our four studio-style 2-person cottages. They range from 30 to 36 square meters in size and feature different decoration. You can choose to have one large double bed or two single beds in your cottage. Please state at the time of booking which one you require.

Cosy Cottage- peaceful countryside

Wooden cottage, perfect for a stay in a peaceful environment. Suits for couples and families with children. Kitchen and private facilities. The cottage has a bunkbed with double bed on the lower level and single on the upper level. A sofa sleeps 2 persons. A set of linen and towels is included in the price. Horseback riding available on the farm. THE OLD STABLE - a turf house exhibition on the farm, free access for our guests. Beautiful location, no light pollution, 20 km from road #1.

Heidarbaer - Log House.

Family Log House in the rural North Iceland. Located in Skagafjordur in North of Iceland. Complete privacy with only farms in the vicinity. Wake up in silence with occasional bird songs and possibly lamb bleating (during May - June). The cabin is brand new, well heated with WIFI connection. The kitchenette has a fridge, washing machine, coffee machine, small stove and an Air fryer. The bunker bed can sleep 3 children (2 young ones below and a bigger one or an adult above).

The Cabin is located in the bottom of fjord Ólafsfjörður, in the mountains. It has three bedrooms, a living room and a private geothermal water jacuzzi on the terrace facing south. The cabin is well equipped, with new WIFI for guests to use, and has new quality mattresses made up with comfortable linen, soft towels and warm blankets. The area is extremely peaceful. In the backyard is a heated football court and a playground for kids.

Small cottage (37 m2) with two bedrooms and a large patio. Peaceful and quiet but yet close to the town of Dalvik and only about 40 km to Akureyri. Located at the heart of the Troll peninsula, with beautiful mountain and ocean views. Perfect location for exploration in the Eyjafjordur area, both summer and winter, hiking biking, skiing etc. Ideal for mountain skiers. Daily whale watching tours with Arctic Sea Tours from Dalvik.

Very nice 32m2 cottage located 23 km away from Hella with sleeping up to max 4 persons, best for 2-3 adults or 2 adults and 2 kids. We are 18km away from road 1, for those who are looking for peace, quite and great view we are the right place :) Enjoy the Icelandic mountain views and see the northern lights in the peace and quiet of the countryside. Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis.
