Townhome vacation rentals in Sintra

Miguel’s house is a bit further outside of the small city center, next to a gas station and the parking lots of the market. The Main Street runs directly in front of the house, so that it’s impossible to stop here to carry the luggage to the house. The beach is in a walkable distance where you find a view cafes and restaurants. The house itself is pretty new with a nice and bright furniture. Unfortunately if it rains there’s no place to eat. The only table is outside and gets pretty wet from the rain. The high chairs are a bit too high on the kitchen table. Another thing is that people who pass the house can watch inside the sleeping room. There are no curtains, either you close the (very beautiful) shutters and it’s totally dark or people can see you laying in bed. The whole house has a beautiful design. Everything was spotless clean with a good smell. The small garden is very green and well treated. In total I can highly recommend Miguel’s place.

Christina’s place was roomy for 2 couples - 2 nice bedrooms with comfortable beds and 2 well appointed bathrooms. The only detail was the musty odour in the kitchen/ living room. This was mentioned in a previous review so we were aware. Resolving this would make it a 5 star location.

We had the most incredible time at Lia’s stunning home it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautifully presented and thoughtfully equipped everything was. The pool was a true highlight absolutely gorgeous and the games room was a huge hit with our kids. Lia was the perfect host warm, welcoming, and full of brilliant local tips. Every recommendation was just what we were looking for and we especially enjoyed the Tik Tapas restaurant. Lia herself is so kind, and her lovely children were just as amazing. They gave us space but one day kindly asked if our kids wanted to play football which was great fun. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our stay feel even more like home. We can’t thank Lia enough for her beautiful home and generous hospitality. We’re already looking forward to returning!

We stayed here for a week and everything was good, it was a minute walk down to the breakfast cafe, a minute walk to the beach, and about a 3 minute walk to restaurants which we were spoilt for choice. The beach nearest to us was beautiful but there are also other beaches along the coast which are a must see. The people were friendly, not only the host but the locals also. This place was highly recommended and we agree, it is.

The place has amazing views, and awesome outdoor space! The house was extremely clean and has a creative and laidback vibe. Perfect place to relax and smile!

We stayed for whole August. 2 Adults, 2 Kids + Nanny. We really enjoyed the time in Ericeira and Heike’s house. It offered all we needed and the location is excellent for walking into the city centre and Praia das Pescadores. Great stay overall. We can only recommend it.

The apartment is quiet, well-equipped, bright and with a pleasant view of the golf course. Ana was responsive, available and caring for all our questions, before and during our stay. There is a small grocery store and a restaurant right next door, as well as convenient supermarkets a little further away. Lisbon is a 25-minute drive. We think the apartment is better suited for stays with a car rather than public transport. The apartment matches the listing (description + photos) in every way. A very pleasant stay that will be gladly repeated by renting this apartment again next time. We couldn't meet Ana when the keys were handed over, but her husband was able to inform us with a good welcome. Thank you.

Elizabeth's house gathers enough to spend a few quiet days, comfortable in an excellent atmosphere. The house is beautiful and all distribution and bathroom, kitchen, garden etc were in perfect condition. The only one but, is what other users have already described, parking is difficult and complicated to be a very narrow road. In general we recommend it to people who seek privacy and tranquility, but also to say that it is not accessible for people with reduced mobility... Finally mentioning Mafalda as a contact person while we were staying, was very friendly.

We had a great stay here in Ericeira. The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, close to the beach and town. António was a very helpful and friendly host who made everything easy. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The house is wonderful. Nicely furnished and comfortable. Great location--close to center of town, beaches and some really great restaurants. We would not hesitate renting this again.

Excellent accommodation and fantastic service throughout our stay. Friendly and professional. A group of 6 of us spent 3 nights here. It’s a perfect location a little distance from the main tourist area but easy walking or metro ride away. The property is cool, bright and very comfortable. The amenities are excellent, with comfortable bedding and a wonderful patio space. Top class Lisboa - what a wonderful City.

Emilie’s home was beautiful and an incredible location. It exceeded our expectations and we had a fantastic week in beautiful Cascais. I highly recommend this place to anyone! Thank you to Emilie for being an incredible host and most of all making our son feel comfortable the moment we arrived with all the toys and activities.

The place was very cosy and cute. Dinning area was excellent to spend time with family. Bedrooms cosy and warm. We had a good sleep. Kitchen was spacious and well equipted. It got everything from breakfast to super to cook by myself. Very good utensils. Washing machine works not so loudly and got drying option, which is really good for family with kids. The host was very responsive, quick to answer all the questions. Really great experiance in Lisbon.

We had an extraordinary stay at Beija-Flor. Ana and Mario know how to take care of their home and garden, and are very responsive when there is a small problem to solve. The beds are comfortable and we felt at home very quickly. The wifi is fast for work, and the garden is perfect for family dining. In short, we can only recommend Beija-Flor! The house is located in Ribamar, with several shops (grocery stores, butcher, pharmacy) and restaurants (Le Pescador and Estrela do Mar are institutions) 3 minutes' walk, as well as a small bar in which there are regularly events. There is a perfect path for runners 5 minutes' walk from the house, which leads to the famous Ribeira d'Ilhas beach. This cliffside (but safe) path is breathtaking! We leave the Beija-Flor with regret and can only wish a wonderful stay to the next guests!

My family and I loved this accommodation. Amazingly clean. Great bed linen and comfy bed amd pillows. Fantastic shower. Great sleep. There was an appetising welcome platter with cheese and chorizo, crackers, cherries and grapes and jam. We bought sausages from the butcher below the accommodation too. There are great details in this house that make it really very special like blankets in a basket for chilly nights, coffee capsules, lots of condiments for cooking and tea bags which was heavenly after i realised i had forgotten mine for my first morning cup of tea (i did replace 😉). We loved the outdoor terrace for eating and drying beach clothes. All the thoughtful details make this accommodation feel more like a very comfortable home than a standard airbnb. Thank you

Our family loved staying at Joana’s place! Joana always responded quickly to any questions I had. There were several bus stops nearby to take us to various locations throughout the city and the metro wasn’t far either. It was great to have a place with 2 1/2 bathrooms bc we had two families staying there. It was convenient to have a washing machine. We also enjoyed the patio out back since the weather was perfect. We would definitely stay at one of Joana’s places again.

It’s a very quiet neighborhood and yet easy to get around. The room is clean nice little terrace and there were enough kitchen appliances. I highly recommend

We were very well received and guided by Alajoeste's collaborators and also by the owner. The space is cozy and contains everything the same as the listing description. Plus, the shower is wonderful, the bath towels are super comfortable. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, coffee capsules, and pastries typical of the area. Very kind and careful. Surprise when we leave 4 am…we lock the house, with the cell phone inside the space and deposit the key in the agreed place. Aware that we would bear the financial responsibilities of our act, we packed the place where we had deposited the key. We found our phone! We closed the house again and followed. We communicated to Joana da Alajoeste who reported what happened to the owner. To our surprise she understood the situation and didn't want to charge us for the loss. We did not have the courage to accept, but we will never forget such delicacy in understanding and comforting ourselves.

We spent 4 nights in this dream accommodation! Everything is as described and photographed! If you visit Lisbon, we recommend that you have a car because the accommodation is 30 minutes from the center. On the other hand, you will be close to the beaches 100% perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay, we will be back! Thank you very much

Great house to spend a few days with family on vacation. Close to Cascais and beaches. Very quiet the place and close to a supermarket and a little mall.

Ana is a wonderful host! We connected prior to my arrival and she came by to check up on everything once I got here. She has been incredibly helpful with all my questions & shared the best recommendations. The space is in a good location, in the center of a cozy town, walking distance to restaurants, the beach, bars, etc. There is street parking available right by the apartment. The shared patio is cozy & great to relax! Apartment as described, would recommend!! :)

We had a great stay! We particularly appreciated: - Easy street parking - Easy to access from the north of the city - quiet and pleasant neighborhood - bus stop opposite the house offering a regular line to the city center in 15 minutes (bus 759) - warm house, nicely decorated and where you can easily feel at home - very pleasant terrace and small garden - very well-equipped kitchen - pleasant bedding - Responsive, friendly hosts with good advice We loved it!!

Diana's place was perfect for us to explore Lisbon and Sintra from. It's very liveable home, and the washing machine and dryer was so convenient to have for travelling families. The place was very specious, super clean, and secure. There are three bedrooms which is what our family of four required. It's in a quiet, safe neighbourhood, and easy to find. We used Uber to get around which was cost-effective and convenient.
