Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Sintra

We just finished a fabulous five night stay and highly recommend. Gui greeted us upon arrival and walked us through the home. It is a historic home so there are some quirks, though nothing crazy. The house was a perfect size for our party of 8 (ages 12-70). The location absolutely cannot be beat - we never walked more than 15 minutes to get anywhere we wanted to go which was much appreciated at the end of the night! There is noise as the home is centrally located but that is a worthwhile trade off for the location. Washer (line dry) worked well and there were umbrellas, towels, sand toys, etc for the beach. We did not cook at the house so cannot provide a review but kitchen was spacious and well stocked. There is only AC in two of the rooms but there are shutters that help keep the heat of the day out and there were two fans available as well. Especially for the price and location, this is a great home for a large group.

Lovely stay, even lovelier host. Super friendly and responsive, and even sent a list of local recommendations for everything one could possibly need during a holiday. Would love to come back as it was such a special home and held spectacular views. Gorgeous vibes 🫶🏻🙏🏻

I rented this house for my parents when they were in town for a visit -- it's a great space with an amazing view and they loved it. The kitchen and dining area was great to join them for dinner and if we had planned ahead more we definitely would've taken advantage of the bbq grill in the garden!

Very well designed place .. it’s a very quiet and private newly renovated house .. someone put a lot of thought into the architecture and design of every detail .. agent was very easy to communicate with .. everything was perfect

Très bonne hôte! Elle nous as reçu avec beaucoup d’informations et des bonnes recommandations pour restaurant et visite de Lisbonne. Le ménage était impeccable. Cependant, il y avait une odeur d’humidité présente. Peut-être juste les bâtiments en béton qui cause ceci que nous sommes pas habitué à cette odeur au Québec. Le petit coin intime est invitant! We are locals and rented Mariana's place while we put the finishing touches into our new home which was delayed. Mariana was extremely helpful and understanding with our shifting check in and check out requirements given constant changes with mover and builder schedules. Mariana was so friendly and responsive. She sent us wonderful information to make the most of the area. Since we live here we didn't need it, but anyone coming for a visit will get the best of the best of the local experience. The house was perfect. Great location, great distribution. Great light. The pool was refreshing fun. Everything better than in the pictures and the description. If we ever need to refer anyone to a place to stay in Colares, Mariana's place will be top of the list. Highly recommended....and I have stayed in many Airbnbs all over the world.

Um refúgio perfeito! Que descoberta incrível! Desde o momento em que chegamos, sentimos a paz e tranquilidade que tanto buscávamos. O lugar é um verdadeiro oásis de serenidade, ideal para quem precisa escapar do ritmo frenético da cidade. Nossos dois pets também adoraram o jardim e o amplo espaço para corridinhas e brincadeiras! A acomodação estava impecavelmente limpa e decorada com muito bom gosto - simples, mas elegante. A cozinha bem equipada nos permitiu preparar refeições deliciosas sem maiores problemas. A piscina foi, sem dúvida, o ponto alto da nossa estadia. Água cristalina em temperatura perfeita, cercada por espreguiçadeiras confortáveis e vegetação exuberante! Os anfitriões foram extremamente atenciosos, nos receberam com muita simpatia e estavam sempre disponíveis quando precisamos, mas respeitando completamente nossa privacidade. Já estamos planejando nossa próxima visita. Este lugar ganhou um lugarzinho especial em nossos corações!

Mathieu and Carlota are gracious and accommodating hosts with a beautiful family. The house is in a quiet village very close to Cascais and Guincho beach. Easy to find and park. The pool is fantastic - deep enough for jumping and great fun for kids. The whole family was very welcoming and friendly and we felt very at home. Thank you all!

Johanna was in touch well in advance to make sure I could find her place and had no issues. It is a very welcoming place to stay. Ideal for women travelling alone as it's very safe. I'd recommend her place for anyone wanting to enjoy the beaches around Ericeira.

This is a superb property for a group/ large family holiday. The pictures hardly do it justice and with the pool, padel court, bbq and pizza oven there is so much to entertain everyone during the stay. Elisa provided some great recommendations for the area and met us at the property for check in to ensure we settled in very quickly. The local beach at Magoito was only 8 mins drive away and food at Duna Mar was great so well worth a visit.

We loved our stay in Ericeira - it’s a beautiful beach location, we visited as a family and found the property to be clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The building is historic, with a lovely shady shared court yard with a small pool, although we were the only people that used it for our whole stay. Communication with Tom was fast and clear, he greeted us on arrival and even gave us a short tour of Ericeira to help us get orientated. Our children were very excited to see the large beach less than five minutes walk from the front door. Five stars - very happy.

Le site correspondait exactement à ce que nous cherchions. Très calme, vue magnifique, belle et grande terrasse. Pour trouver de l'animation (en mai) il faut prendre la voiture, pour les courses également, c'est un choix...

Spacious, spotlessly clean, bright with everything you could need. Very comfortable bed. We really enjoyed our stay. Great host - always responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend Carolina's place. Also a lovely big balcony to sit and have breakfast - would also be an added bonus to have a couple of loungers/comfortable chairs to enjoy this further.

The view was absolutely amazing! Loved having coffee on the patio every morning and beautiful sunsets at night!

What a beautiful, peaceful retreat in nature to enjoy! We really loved walking to the cliffs and surrounding areas. Came across a farmer grazing his heard of goats… our daughter really enjoyed that. The air was crisp and fresh so make sure to take cozy clothes for the mornings and evenings. I would highly recommend and would be happy to return! The place is very cute and the beach and how open and undeveloped the beach was is unlike anywhere else. We did three days of surf lessons from Caeser who is literally 100ft from the house down the beach and there is surfing right out your front door with board and wetsuit rentals.. The town itself is a little bleak and there wasn't much to do and we found if the weather was bad restaurants close very early (like 6pm) so just make sure to find out times if you are planning on eating out for dinner. Our family of four was in love (2 boys ages 7 and 10) but my in laws came too who are in their early 80s. I clearly wasn't thinking bc the walk to the house is through the sand and hard to navigate, my mother in law also couldn't get over the sand dune to go to the beach, and the stairs in the house are more like a ladder. so it's wonderful for able bodies but if you have someone with special needs it may not be suitable. but otherwise if you love surfing, beautiful sunsets book it!

Loved everything about this air BnB. Celso had thought of absolutely everything, probably the most well equipped air BnB we’ve ever stayed in. To wake up in the dunes and watch sunset from them was such a treat - hope to return again soon! Recommend avoiding heavy luggage and packing smaller overnight bags to make it easy getting from the car park to the air BnB. Would also recommend princesa beach club for lunch nearby, had a great day here.

Manuela desde el principio hasta el final estuvo atenta en que todo estuviera bien. Ha sido muy amable y agradable en todo momento, y muy atenta con nuestro perro. La casa estuvo muy acogedora y tranquila. Es verdad que por las mañanas es muy luminosa y a mí con tanta luz me cuesta un poco pero está bien.

We had a lovely stay in Sintra. The house is charming and worked perfectly for us as a family of five, including 3 grown-up sons. Joana was a good communicator and Rosa is generally around in the mornings. A beautiful location and not far from the old centre.
