We had a wonderful time at the chalet! The accommodation is very nice, lovingly decorated and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The surroundings invite you to relax – perfect for escaping the ordinary. The contact with the hosts was super friendly and straightforward. We felt completely comfortable and can highly recommend the chalet!

We had an excellent stay at Anneke’s place. The place was quite aesthetic as well as so convenient with an amazing garden. Our 3 year old daughter especially enjoyed the trampoline and the swing in the garden. The location was really apt, we could do day trips to Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans, Hague, Utrecht, Haarlem. Overall a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

It was nice and everything is always nicer when the sun is shining but in all cases: - very nice, cozy cottage - terrace directly overlooking the pond (exciting conversations with local ducks) - very easy check-in and responsive host - superb sunset to end the day while eating on the terrace.

A great and clean house in a quiet area. With 8 people, we were fine with the rooms and bathrooms. Pool was to our satisfaction!

We had a wonderful time at Wenja's beautiful beach house. It was so lovingly and chicly furnished, the kitchen fully equipped. The description of the apartment is absolutely accurate. The kids had a great time swimming in the pool and the sauna afterwards was a treat. In a few minutes, you will be on the beautiful beach with nice beach bar. (It may be worth mentioning that one section is a dog beach. So many friendly dogs are a huge pleasure for our children. ) From the apartment it is only a few minutes by car to the shopping center in the village and many attractions (e.g. Keukenhof, Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Zandvoort, etc.) can be reached in 20-40 minutes. We enjoyed our holiday very much and will definitely come back. Thank you very much for sharing your beautiful house with us, dear Wenja. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We had a lovely stay at Michael’s place. We booked it for a girls trip with a group of 7. It was the perfect size, lovely surroundings and really central! Would definitely recommend!

Small cottage with in a top location. The house was very cozy in the backyard of Ellen. We found everything we needed (spices, oil, tissues, etc.) and even got some fresh eggs. We spend two lovely days here and will come back.

What a wonderful stay at the Guesthouse! Together with our 4-year-old daughter, we enjoyed it tremendously. We were very hospitably received and everything was taken care of to the last detail. The house is beautifully decorated, bright and cozy, and is in a great location: just a few meters from the forest, close to fine restaurants and a short distance from the beach. We were super satisfied with Denice's place. We lacked nothing, everything was very clean and lovingly furnished. Denice was easily accessible, friendly and helpful. For our dog, the fenced garden was especially great and the beautiful opportunities for walking in the immediate vicinity. Restaurants, some small shops and a supermarket are within walking distance and lots of excursion options nearby. We will certainly be back. :)

The stay at Els and Ted's house was fantastic! 😊 The house was extremely clean and tidy! And everything looks so beautiful and new, especially the bathrooms. Els and Ted are very warm hosts and very child-friendly :) The garden is large and also totally well maintained. The children had a lot of fun there on the swing/slide and we were allowed to borrow 2 go-karts and the children were also allowed to feed the chickens with Els :) We also got fresh eggs ;) In bad weather, there is an indoor playground nearby, where the children had a lot of fun. So an all-round successful weekend and we can imagine coming back :) All the best to Els & Ted and thank you for your hospitality :)

Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

Joke is great! She is very friendly and is always helpful. The apartment is just great for 2 people, pragmatically equipped and incredibly quiet. We sat in the garden in the afternoon after our morning cycling or hiking tours and enjoyed the tranquility. Restaurants, supermarket, bakery, etc. are in walking distance. Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Medemblik are within 1 hour by car. We felt more than comfortable here!

The house is very spacious, clean and has a great outdoor space. The bathroom is a stand out with a large shower and double sink. You can walk to the shops, restaurants and sightseeing in the city centre. Would certainly return to this gem in Alkmaar.

We had a super nice holiday week in the cozy cottage and the wonderful garden. The cottage is well located and well equipped.

There is nothing to add to the comments, the house has its peculiar charme. What is'nt mentioned clealy in the description: you have to bring your own towels. Two bicycles can be rented. The parking place behind the house is public but mostly available. For coffee lovers: machine is available with capsule system 'Dolce Gusto'. You can find more Infos at vakantiehuis-noord-holland(dot com). We would definitely come again.

We had a great time in our little home. The cottage is located in an allotment garden settlement, it is super quiet and the garden is really big. As a small note for families, the baby travel bed has no mattress. It was no problem for us, as our daughter ended up wanting to sleep in the big bed. We would come back and want to discover the area further. On foot you can go play mini golf and our daughter loved the playground there. Excursion destinations such as tulip fields, cheese market and Co are also quick to reach.

We are very satisfied with the accommodation! Everything was functional, and the bed was especially comfortable and spacious! As for the place itself – small, charming, and a supermarket is very close by.
