'Silverknowes Suite' is a small, newly renovated, light and airy ground floor studio with own front door, kitchenette and ensuite. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, within 5 minutes walk to bus routes to the city centre and 10 minutes to the airport bus stop. By car, the city can be reached in 15 minutes. There are beautiful nearby walks down to the Forth River front and beach. The suite is attached to our family home but the connecting door will be kept locked ensuring your privacy.

Our large family home in Blackhall is perfect for visits to Edinburgh and beyond for families and groups. A short journey from the airport or into town with a large outdoor space with all the ‘mod-con’s’ you will find our home a relaxing place to enjoy yourselves. We have four large double bedrooms as well as sofa bed in the snug. A modern kitchen/diner/ sitting room, a kids play area with trampoline a sunny conservatory, large bathroom with bath and shower as well as living level WC.

Book Toby's without a second thought. Welcoming and yet discreet we spent a week Royale 🙂 very good sleeping The bus line 29 at the sylverknowes short stop will put you near the train station and downtown get off at princess street. For restaurants we recommend the Toby cave 10mn walk excellent value for money we went there 3 times. Great tour in the Highlands and the royal ticket is perfect. In short, a great stay in Edinburgh 💗

We found the flat easily and parked right at the front door. The room was perfect for what our needs, comfy bed, great shower, plenty of space. The location made it easy to avoid the centre with the car when we arrived from the Fife side, but also to get a bus easily into town and back for the gig we were going to.

accommodation was affordable with very simple and close by transfers via bus to city center. house was cozy and clean and Ian was a wonderful host who provided a wealth of info for our trip and endeavoured to solve any problems we may have had. overall the house made for a brilliant weekend away and was an affordable way to do so. would stay again :)

The room and the flat was really nice and Matthew was really friendly and flexible about me arriving late in the evening. I would certainly stay again.
