House vacation rentals in Silverdale

This place was beyond our expectations. Immaculately presented, super clean, tidy, jaw dropping views. I can't fault it in any way and I can't rate it highly enough. Will definately look to return in the future. Stunning!

Jennifer’s home was beautiful, clean,extremely well equipped and had absolutely everything we needed for a lovely peaceful break away. Especially appreciated having little extras like the comfortable deck furniture, fleece blankets, salt pepper soap cloths etc. would definitely recommend and definitely would book again.

The lodge was fabulous, really enjoyed our stay. I even picked up a couple of decor ideas. Had a lovely time feeding the ducks, swans and other wildlife, very relaxing. Shops and amenities easy to get to by car, lovely restaurants around the area. Would absolutely recommend.

Extremely pleasant week in Kendal and surrounding area using Cathy’s lovely accommodation as our base . Fully equipped , very comfortable , lovely decor and the bonus of private parking blended with some very fine weather all added into a perfect week for our family holiday get together. Highly recommended to anyone wishing to be close to amenities within lovely surroundings…..

House was as described, beautiful setting with wonderful views of the hills and mountains. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds and bathrooms are nicely finished with good showers. Kitchen is a good size and has all required implements. A great location for exploring the central lakes and soaking up all that Ambleside has to offer.

I'd stay at Jackie's place again whenever I next visit no question. Good price, and the place is exactly as she's described. And whenever I messaged her she always responded back to me within 30mins at most which is excellent

Our family had a lovely stay at Burrowbank at the end of the summer holiday. The house is fantastic with all the facilities you could ask for. The kids loved the swings and most of all the pool, while the covered (heated) BBQ area meant evening meals outside watching the sunset. Great location and setting, very private and we would definitely come again and recommend to others. Martyn and Christine were very helpful and went the extra mile (even posting my daughter’s disposable camera that she left behind). Can’t think of any negatives and we made some great/happy memories.

We stayed for 2 nights at Delanie's property to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. The house and it's facilities are amazing. The pool Hot Tub and bar area really make this an amazing place to celebrate birthday's and the like. Warm welcome and a great hamper upon check in and always on hand for any issues. Highly recommend this place if your looking for a luxury break away. Will be looking to return in the future.

We did a lot of different activities in the Lake district but the house was the highlight of our trip, we’d have been happy just to spend the whole time in the house. The house has been designed to get the most out of the views and the decor is amazing too, it is really clean and feels brand new. I’d say it is definitely worth paying a bit more to stay here over anywhere else in the local area, and we will be returning at some point in the future, we miss the house already. Also Team Laik and the owners are all fantastic, communicate well and make everything easy, so if you haven’t used Airbnb before I’d go with these, you can use the messaging system on the app and get a response almost straight away should you have any questions.

Arnside is lovely, it's a 15 minute walk from the (small) village centre with a few cafes and shops. The house was easy to find, reserved parking spot outside and quiet street (we didn't hear a peep from our neighbours). Rooms were spacious and as described.

Very nice stay and a lovely house. Would highly recommend. Excellent for small children and the toys and games provided were a lovely touch. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay! Communication was great from the start, and the home itself is absolutely beautiful, cosy, warm, and full of thoughtful touches that made it feel really special. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was excellent too. Sarah, her husband, and Joey were so lovely and welcoming, and their gorgeous dog made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this stay, would love to come back!

Wow, Arnside is wonderful, special and every thing we wanted. Stuarts house and garden made for a fantastic all round experience. The weather was spectacular ....crikey, ive run out of superlatives. Faults, erm...it had to end. love John and Karen

We had a wonderful two-night stay! We all, including the kids, had a fantastic time. The place was peaceful and quiet. We're definitely looking forward to booking again on our next trip to the Lake District.

We had a wonderful stay. The cottage is very private with a fantastic view from the living room. Great location allowing easy access to nearby pubs and to the ferry. We were surrounded by wildlife, and particularly enjoyed seeing the family of baby rabbits hop around the cottage garden each evening.

An amazing property and beautifully presented. Everybody we met in passing on arrival was so helpful and clearly took pride in the property and wanted to make sure we were ok and happy. Sarah communicated with me quickly and clearly from booking to check in day and could not be more attentive. The location was perfect. So quiet and peaceful. We stayed in June for 4 nights as a family group of four adults for a birthday getaway and had the most wonderful stay. The house is beautiful, characterful and peaceful, absolutely immaculate on arrival and we especially loved the outdoor area with the seating and BBQ - we were blessed with warm and sunny weather so we could use it! We were very thankful to be able to bring our dogs as well and want to say an extra thank you for allowing that - great communication from host Craig. There is parking for three cars and it's only a short drive (approx 15-20mins) to Bowness - we did a boat trip from here one day. We also ate one night at the Mason's Arms down the road and had a very nice meal. Overall 10/10 from us!

We had a wonderful few days at Winkley Hall Farm. Fantastic property in a wonderful, peaceful location with everything you need for a relaxing, long weekend break. Our communication with our hosts was great from the moment we booked, to arrival and throughout our stay. And the lovely welcome gift was an added surprise and greatly appreciated! We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend this property, and will look to return at some point in the future.

Great cottage in the lovely village of Cartmel. Easy to walk into the village and surrounding countryside.

Beautiful home, surrounded by amazing gardens. Never been to an Airbnb that had more facilities and extras - from bbq and fuel to loads of condiments, to all of the leisure requirements you may need. Watching the wildlife on a morning and evening was beautiful and tranquil. Thank you Joel for sharing your home with my family.

A beautiful house in a lovely setting, great for family get togethers, location right on the lake was amazing, & easy access to lovely local town of Glenridding for essentials. Wide range of facilities at the cottage, we really enjoyed the private outdoor eating area next with the wood fired outdoor grill. Very nice well appointed kitchen with quality appliances, bathrooms clean and with quality fittings. Outside garden/woodland area was perfect for us and our dog, although the many steps and steep paths would not suit everyone, but this factor is clearly explained in the information host provides. We found some rooms a little dark, especially on a rainy day but there are some lovely lamps which can be moved around if required. Overall I would recommend this cottage as a great place to stay & enjoy the lake district and all it has to offer.

A beautiful little retreat, in a perfect location to go and explore the local attractions. White Scar Cave and the waterfall trail are both well worth a visit. Only a short drive to the Lake District too. Carly is an amazing host who goes above and beyond with all the extra little touches, she has thought of everything to make your stay so easy and comfortable. The Lodge is spotlessly clean and smells amazing. we will definitely be returning.
