Vacation rentals with a patio in Silver Lake

I hope other hosts I've stayed with don't see this review because Cathy was by far one of the best and most a welcoming hosts I've ever stayed with! Her place was immaculate and very homey, not to mention a perfect location only a few blocks from downtown, but just far enough to still be in a quiet neighborhood. 10/10, would stay again (and probably will!)

We spent a beautiful and relaxing week at Wendy & Jeff's Seascape. The place is EXACTLY like the photos, the view from the balcony is a dream!! Waking up to the ocean sounds every morning is something we will never forget. The apartment is very well-stocked with all the items you need to enjoy the beach, clean up afterward (lots of hot water and good shower pressure!) and cook a delicious meal (plenty of kitchen gadgets). Very easy to walk around the neighborhood, up to the pier for quick eats, or less than a mile to the little mini-mart. Parking is easy. Area is safe. The pool area across the street was clean and fun too! The hosts gave excellent, clear instructions for arrival/departure and even checked in on us via the app during our stay. The loft looked just like the photos and was very clean and nicely decorated. Hosts were quick to respond and very helpful!

Was in Wilmington for a 5 day work trip. Great place to break up the monotony of staying in a hotel every week. The location is perfect and the vibes of the unit and building are immaculate. Would 100% book again if I find myself in Wilmington for work or personal travel!

This place was beautiful! Erika has a very clean space and it was perfect for my friend and I’s vacation! The walk to the beach was a breeze, and there were lots of fun things and cute shops around the area! Erika was super responsive and helpful and gave perfect instructions that made getting checked in & out super smooth. I will definitely be back! Tippy was the cutest :)

We absolutely enjoyed every minute of our long weekend stay - the location was perfect, with restaurants, shopping and beach access within steps. Very convenient and felt safe to walk around with our son, both morning and at night. The dedicated parking spots, along with generous beach day and in-unit amenities were very much appreciated. The morning and evening views from the balcony were peaceful - by far one of our favorite long weekend memories as a family. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for the perfect beach trip location with responsive, welcoming hosts. We will be booking again!

We had an amazing stay! The home was new, clean and beautiful! There was plenty of room, especially with the decks! It met our needs perfectly! We loved all of the activities in the fun yard! It was the best one in the area! We also enjoyed how close we were to the beach! Drew responded quickly to my questions before our stay, which I really appreciated. He was very kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again, if we vacation in Oak Island in the future.

We stayed at this Airbnb for three days and had a wonderful experience! The place was super clean, peaceful, and exactly what we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. One of the nicest surprises was how kind the neighbors were someone even left a note on our car to let us know we’d accidentally left a light on. It really added a personal touch and made us feel cared for. The location was great too only about 20 minutes from the beach and a waterpark, Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Wilmington!

We had a fabulous 2-night stay at Sam’s place this week! We came down from upstate SC for our daughter’s freshman orientation at UNCW. The location was GREAT! It was a less than 5 min drive to campus, and anything else we needed was very nearby, too. The house was lovely: cute, updated, super clean, private and quiet. The beds were comfy and we felt right at home. Excellent communication by Sam. I’m already planning to book again for future trips to visit our daughter at college. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We loved our 3 night stay at this beautiful home in downtown Wilmington! The space was just as described: clean, spacious, comfortable, and peaceful. We had all the amenities we needed, and we walked into downtown and back easily. The neighborhood is full of historic homes and, although located close to the highway, very quiet in general. It was real warm and muggy during our stay so we did not get to take advantage of the side patio, but we were cool and comfy inside. We would recommend this home to friends and stay here again, for sure!

Chad was fantastic! Super sweet and attentive! Place felt bigger in person! Loved the way it was decorated and glitter ceilings was a nice touch! Loved the location and easy beach access! Would stay again!

Beautiful view of ICW and ocean from your own personal deck! The deck furniture got an upgrade and are two Adirondack high chairs (comfy!) but no table. Only a mile away from the downtown area of Carolina beach, perfect if you love a little bike ride to get to breakfast or dinner. About 20-30 min to downtown Wilmington. Very short walk to the beach, easy to pop back for lunch or the bathroom. Host gave excellent recommendations for local events and restaurants. Provided ample soaps, towels, and detergent. AC worked great and they had an extra fan for the bedroom with darkening blinds. Recommendations for other guests: If you plan to cook know that the kitchen has VERY BASIC kitchen tools/supplies. Beach chairs were Tommy bahama (woo!) but umbrella was broken and other guests haven’t taken good care of other supplies. Bed has a memory foam topper and I’d suggest bringing your own pillow, they have super thick or super thin.

We had an amazing stay at Harmony’s place! It was super clean, incredible views of the ocean and watching the sunsets each night. The place was beautifully decorated and up to date appliances, everything we needed was there. Comfortable beds and pillow were a plus. We loved how easy it was to walk right out to the beach. Having two young kids, it was awesome to have beach chairs, toys, boogie boards, umbrella and MORE all provided! Short walk to the pier for food at Koko Cabana and Ruby’s coffee. We hope to make Oak Island our family spot each year and will book this condo again!

Warren's condo was perfect and just as descried and pictured. The evenings on the deck watching the boats go by and beautiful sunsets were wonderful.

Corey and Hayden’s AirBnB was a perfect place to stay. It is super walkable to all that Wilmington has to offer. The place was clean and very easy to access. Both hosts are very responsive and kind! We would definitely stay here again.

Anne was so wonderful to work with and her communication was excellent! Her place was not only beautiful, but it was the perfect location to both the beach and the pool! It had multiple private decks for our family to enjoy the view and sounds of the ocean. The house was spotless and has been very well maintained; and as an extra bonus- it included ALL of the linens including plenty of extra bath towels and beach towels! We will definitely be back for many years to come!

The location of this condo is perfect! We had the best weekend, everything is in walking distance. The beach is super close, it’s close to the boardwalk and so many restaurants. Our host was very friendly and super responsive to questions! We will definitely book again.

This was one of my favorite AirBnb’s. I felt right at home from the minute I first entered the door. It was the perfect size and the view was spectacular. I loved sitting on the balcony and watching the waves and listening to the sound of the surf. The bed was so comfortable. I wanted to find out the brand of mattress before I left but I couldn’t get the mattress cover off. Bummer! There was one time when I sent a message to the host and didn’t get a response, but it wasn’t for anything urgent so I didn’t bother to try to reach her again. But otherwise, the host was responsive and the instructions were very clear. I would love to come back and visit again someday, it was so peaceful, and the condo complex and town of Kure Beach were wonderful.
