My girlfriends and I loved our stay at the Big Dipper! The cabin is beautiful, comfortable and conveniently located. There was plenty of space for the six of us. We particularly enjoyed hanging out on the stunning deck, in the hot tub and at nearby Speedboat Beach. Sally was a communicative and helpful host, and her local recommendations are spot on! We would happily to return and will not hesitate to recommend this property to our friends and family.

The cabin is in a great spot and the layout was perfect for our needs. Additionally, the host was very responsive when we had questions. A great stay overall!

My family and I spent a wonderful weekend at this cabin. Cabin was well set up, beds comfortable, many games/ equipment available for use. The hot tub and views from the deck were amazing. Highly recommend!

Always a great stay. Thanks for turning on the air conditioner before we arrived. Understandably, the spa has a lot of chemicals in it, but as one point the smell made me dizzy. Beautiful water feature!

The house was a perfect hub for our family members for the weekend of our wedding. The gold room downstairs was such a lovely space to get dressed and ready for our ceremony and we really enjoyed the swinging chairs and gorgeous view from the big deck. Such a peaceful place! And large enough to accommodate family for meals and breakfast while they were in town, which was particularly nice since we didn't have a reception, just a small private ceremony. The whole house was well stocked with everything we could need including all kitchenware, appliances, and even an iron and ironing board. Check in and check out was easy and everything was very well cleaned. I felt immediately comfortable when we arrived! This place has great vibes. We had an unforgettable weekend.

Garrett was very communicative! We had no issues. Unfortunately the jacuzzi was in need of repairs, but he was so kind and gave much effort to have it done during our stay. It was not very important to me so it did not alter my experience. His home is a peaceful nest away from reality.

Nicolas’s home is excellent — clean, spacious, and very comfortable for more than just a short stay. The terrace is great for BBQ, and the shade from the acacia tree makes it perfect for breakfast outdoors. We truly appreciated that the house is pet-friendly. We had two large dogs, and they loved the small fenced area and dog door. Please clean up after your pets if you bring them too. Upstairs has several bedrooms, one with a beautiful sky and forest view. The kitchen is well-equipped (though a few more dishes would be great), laundry is available, and internet is strong. TV works well too. The host lives next door but gives you total privacy. Nicolas was always helpful and respectful. Only two small notes: the house is close to a road (not an issue for us), and we hoped the hot tub was in a more cozy location — we didn’t end up using it. Great location: close to wineries, an apple farm, shops, and gas stations. We visited Sacramento, Sonoma, Napa ,even Lake Tahoe to San Francisco

The place was really great. It had everything including the utensils, towels, barbecue, and many more.

We stayed here for one night but it was lovely. They had everything that we needed and it was very clean and put together and very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a very nice stay. You could tell there was a lot of thought put in to making guests feel comfortable, accommodated and informed. The location was perfect and within walking distance to restaurants, shops and the beautiful lake.

Great location and lovely place. Easy access and great communication with Amy. This is a perfect place for 2 if you want to escape to Tahoe for a long weekend.

Just stayed at this beautiful AirBnB cabin—absolutely stunning! The host has amazing taste in decor, and every detail is thoughtfully planned, from cooking equipment to outdoor candles for keeping bugs away. The breathtaking view and cozy outdoor deck made it easy to relax and count the stars. Plus, the host even provides a self-made handbook with local guides and dog-friendly trail information, which was a big plus for us. Truly a perfect stay!

We loved staying at Mike's cabin. It was a perfect relaxing getaway for us and our dogs on a very quiet street with nearby trails. We enjoyed the cozy feeling of the cabin and were glad to have a well stocked kitchen for cooking and plenty of firewood for unwinding at night. Mike was very friendly and communicative, and was able to offer some local suggestions when asked. Just a heads up - if you don't have 4 wheel drive, you may want to use chains to get up the last couple hilly streets to the cabin in case of icy or snowy conditions. Once we arrived, though, the stairs to the cabin were completely free of ice and snow. Thank you, Mike!

Great location and space! This was a trip for me and my husband and this was a great choice for the two of us. The space was beautiful and the location was great. We walked to restaurants and shops, it was a perfect combination of enough things nearby without being swamped with tourists. Neighbors were friendly and host was very responsive. Would love to stay here again!

We spent our wedding night at the cabin. It was a beautiful peaceful way to end our big day. The cabin is very cozy and homey. The view in the morning was amazing. The cabin itself has a great theme and touches. Had everything we could need. I could see this becoming an annual stay every year to celebrate our anniversary.

Beautiful cabin in the woods with comfortable beds and relaxing hot tub. Hot tub was already warm when we arrived and no extra charge to use the hot tub. Wonderful kitchen where we made breakfast and we went out to dinner at local restaurants. About 10 mins away from Boreal and Donner Ski Ranch and close to several other Tahoe Ski resorts. We woke up to several cute chipmunks running in the snow right outside the sliding door. Would go back.

Beautiful home in a neighborhood with close proximity to restaurants and gorgeous views. The cottage was very clean, comfortable and we would love to return again!

Steven was very friendly, easy to reach and fast responses. The cabin is quaint and comfortable, if the couch was a bit bigger might be more comfortable. The kitchen was perfect and being that we stayed in for dinners was fantastic, the stove and hood system was amazing! Loved the bedrooms in the upstairs loft, super cozy and comfortable. Would absolutely return and appreciate Steven's communication and overall positive approach!

This is a wonderful cabin in a peaceful setting. Awesome outdoor space with a huge yard, hot tub and lawn games. Well appointed setup with comfortable beds. Coffee and waffles a nice touch. Communication was excellent and granting us a late checkout on the day our son was headed to his first overnight camp was going above and beyond.

This was our third trip to the cabin in 3 years. That's how much we like this place. Carol is always very responsive, super friendly, and goes the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. The cabin itself is lovely, perfectly situated with a great view, and is one of our very favorite places to get away.

Had a great stay at the cabin in Clio. I was worried that it would get too hot inside since the weather was in the 80s and there was no AC but the inside stayed pleasant the entire time. We did not even need to use the fans. The place is exactly as pictured. We cooked most of our meals there without any issue. Everything is very comfortable. Enjoyed the history of the place. Neighborhood was pleasant to walk around and peaceful. Near town of Graeagle where we enjoyed the shops, stores, and the ice cream/coffee eatteries. Convenient for hiking in the Lake Basin area.

From the charming and spacious cabin main room to the incredibly well-stocked kitchen, every detail made us feel right at home. The cozy bedrooms provided a truly relaxing retreat, and the views from the deck were simply breathtaking. We will definitely be coming back again, and we're already planning to bring our friends to experience this amazing getaway!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was peaceful and the amenities made it feel like home. Note - There is only one bathroom located in one of the two bedrooms, which made it a little awkward when sharing the space with others. I should have noticed that before booking so that was my fault. My husband and I recommend this cabin👍🏼
