Great location in Carnelian Bay overlooking the lake. Nice house with well stocked kitchen and amenities. Close to many Lake Tahoe destinations and host was very proactive in communication. Would recommend staying here and had a great time! Look forward to future trips.

We had such a great stay here with family and friends over the weekend! The cabin was beautiful, in a great location, and the host was super friendly and responsive. One thing that really stood out was how well-stocked everything was, which isn’t something we’ve typically seen at other Airbnbs. The kitchen had everything we needed, from pots and pans to coffee machines, spices, and seasonings, which was perfect since we did a lot of cooking. Just a heads-up if you’re a coffee person: they provide the machines but not the coffee, so be sure to bring your own! The place was also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus. We loved that there were tons of games, activities, and even outdoor gear to keep everyone entertained. You can tell the host really cares about the guest experience, and we’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Ron's house was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The location was great - just 20 min from the Lassen visitor center. In addition, there is a road closed in the winter that was right near the house and we had beautiful walks on the snowy road without even getting in the car. Lovely house and we look forward to staying there again.

My brother and father and I truly enjoyed our stay. The space is large, with great natural light and functional heating. The office lounge with hit tub, sauna, pool table and DVDs to rent was fantastic. Parking was easy with a covered designated garage space.

Our stay was great. Chris was very responsive whenever we communicated with him. The place was great, good location and very clean. It was convenient to be by the grocery store and local restaurants. We typically cook during our trips as well and loved that the place was well stocked with all the kitchen things we needed.

Great place to stay, you walk out the back gate and just around the corner is the lake front area. You can also walk to a nearby market for groceries, sandwiches, and coffee. There is a nearby boat launch and a ski lift for winter use. Also, great area to catch transportation such as TART.

Great place with all what you need. We went my kids 4&6 and Grandpa&Ma along with me and my wife. Plenty of space for everyone and the view is very bliss. Bill is a great communicator. Thanks

This place is great. Has everything you need for a family trip, girls trip, trip with friends/couples. You just show up and put your stuff down and relax. Comfortable, well stocked and thoughtful. Good together space but also seperate hang out spaces if you want. We've stayed here twice in the winter to ski Dodge Ridge and had a great time both years. Kristin and Bob are super helpful and they really care about there guests and the house and you can really tell.

My family and I had a blissful stay at this quiet and quaint cottage up on the ridge overlooking the lake. Everything was very neat and clean, the place is tastefully decorated, and it immediately felt like a home away from home. Shannon was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay, and she provided some great recommendations for local businesses to check out in the area. We were glad we chose to stay here and will definitely be back!

A great base for enjoying late winter snow! The hosts were super responsive and accommodating. The house was very clean with cute touches. A fun discovery was walking to the creek at the bottom of Long Barn Sugar Pine Road, with the potential for longer hikes/snowshoeing along the creek. Note that the house is at the top of a short but fairly steep road (or slightly longer, less steep road), which would have been challenging for us in snow (2WD w/ chains) but manageable for 4WD. Neighbors staying across the street with sedans parked along the main road during the snow storm and walked up until the plows came through, so that's an option too.

Love Neals place, so serene, literally! The three bed was great for our family. The kitchen was very well stocked and the road the home is on is so sweet. In the winter, be prepared for snow for the ski bunnies! Soda springs is at the highest elevation… We came looking for snow and found it. I bet the lake in the summer is gorgeous too. Staying at this cabin was a pleasure. The location was perfect not far from Pinecrest lake, the home was cozy and clean, and Alicia was always available to answer our questions. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a great time at the cabin. Our kids loved it so much that they kept asking us if it we could stay longer. It's such a great location for activity's near Donner Lake and Truckee. Also, really appreciated the great kitchen for cooking home meals. Thank you again for letting us stay at your wonderful cabin and hopefully we can return in the future!
