Monthly Rentals in Shortstanding

We was met by Chris and Diane on arrival they are lovely hosts and everything was perfect, the property had everything that you could need and the hot tub is huge. You step outside the property and you enter the Forest of Dean with many walks (some hard on the legs lol), I would recommend downloading an ordinance survey map which was a great help. We will definitely be back as it’s beautiful, thank you Chris and Diane for your hospitality

Lovely flat and VERY clean and comfortable. This was our 1st AirBnB experience and we were delighted with our booking. If you want a flat with views this isn’t the one…. however if you want a spacious comfortable clean flat in a beautiful area then this is ideal. We were delighted to be so close to the forest, especially the sculpture trail at Beechenhurst. Also enjoyed Symonds Yat, Ross on Wye and Clearwell Coves. Excellent value for money too.

Fabulous property in a beautiful, peaceful location. This property really is something special and very very homely with the added bonus of being just a 5 minute walk to a friendly pub /restaurant. Great location for exploring the area - 10/15 minute drive to Symonds Yat and forest walks and if we’d stayed longer there looked to be some beautiful walks from the doorstep. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some peace and quiet in genuine quality accommodation.

Myself, my daughter (7yrs) and our dog stayed at the Butty Barn for the weekend. a lovely property. We enjoyed a local walk around the immediate area. We visited the local shop to purchase some essentials. Lovely visits to Puzzlewood and Symmonds Yat Rock. There are a lot more places to visit locally. The hosts were so kind to watch our dog while we visited Puzzlewood as dogs are not allowed. (Thank you so much) We paid to use the hot tub, which was great after a day out walking. A really lovely stay. x
