Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Shoreline

Recommend to all, view excellent, nearby Safeway and a lovely espresso bar drive thro. We cooked almost everyday while here, prep Bendo for my son’s internship. Bed super comfortable and, did I mention the view? Communication was excellent, Pilin responded within minutes, wouldn’t wanna leave this house, I’m in love with Seattle coz of this place. Definitely coming back if I’m in town.

We had such a wonderful stay. It is about 15-20 minutes to Seattle, but distant enough to be away from the hustle & bustle. The light rail station is about 10 minutes away and the grocery stores are 5 minutes away or less. The space itself is exceptionally clean with many little touches that make it feel cozy. Would absolutely stay here again!

Home was comfortable and perfect for my family. We enjoyed the back patio especially had breakfast and loved seeing the bunnies come by to say hi. Kirstin is a great host and was very helpful. We will be coming back next year!

Our family had a fantastic stay at Caralee's place. She was very accommodating and easy to work with. The home felt like an escape from the busy city life while being very close to downtown Seattle. She has taken great care of her home and we truly enjoyed our stay. The place is close to everything such as groceries, beach, many shops etc. The only thing we wish we had access to was laundry at home since we were staying more than a week but there were laundromats nearby so that did help however they were quite expensive. Overall fantastic stay and we will return :)

We stayed at Bethany's place for six nights with our eight kids and our family friend for family time and to celebrate our son's third birthday. We were welcomed with a little happy birthday banner and cookies for our little guy, which was just so thoughtful and kind. The kids loved playing outside and especially enjoyed the patio and scooters. On two occasions I lured my toddler into the hammock with me and he fell asleep. Win! The large dining room table was in constant use for 1,000 piece puzzles and board games. There was plenty of space for our big kids (17, 15, ~13, 10, 7.5, & 3) in the bunk room, which also had a portable AC so the kids stayed comfy and slept well. My husband and I were in the downstairs bedroom with our 8m twin girls and it stayed nice and cool down there too. We had a really fun and relaxing week and got lots of quality family time! It was magical! Thank you for sharing your home and please thank your kids for sharing their toys!

Haley was kind and communicative. She had extra toiletries, cooking necessities and a care kit for after travel for the guests. It was so considerate and intentional, we loved it. When there was a small issue, her and Paul came through to care of it quickly and effectively. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Lori was an amazing host. This is an excellent place to stay with beautiful surroundings. The house itself was well furnished and had all the amenities one would need for a long stay. Lori made us feel comfortable and was very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!

I had a great stay! The cottage was charming and had everything I needed. It’s located right on a creek, which made for a peaceful and scenic setting. The host, Emma, was wonderful—responsive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

Loved the spot! Cozy/small with a beautiful yard. I’m very glad it was a bit further down the road from the fraternity houses - very quiet at night! Directions/labels were posted all over the apartment which I found very helpful. Kristi really knows how to make things easy to understand!

We keep coming back! It's comfy and cozy for two, and it's convenient for visiting Ballard or getting to downtown Seattle. The description and pictures of the space are accurate, and we appreciate the well-laid out space.

Easy parking, easy instructions to get in, felt very cozy and relaxing, and had everything you could need there! Would recommend anytime! We loved our short stay there and would go again.

We had a great stay at Sue's house! All instructions were clear, the place was clean, and it's a 10 minute walk from all the shops and restaurants. Highly recommend Sue's place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a nice town that's close to both Seattle and the ferry to the Olympic Peninsula.

Julie's place was absolutely perfect! It had every amenity you could need, was super cute, wonderful neighborhood with a great park. Julie was also great with communication. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. The one thing i would note is that if you're like me and have sensory issues the noise from the tv upstairs might bother you. (I did not say anything about this to Julie because i know it's a me issue) if i ever come back that way which hopefully i will i would love to stay again. Everything was wonderful and you created the perfect home away from home. Every night we actually felt like we were going "home" thanks again for your hospitality!!

The place is charming and cozy. We had a great time, and it was perfect for three people. We could really relax and feel at home after a long day out. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. Overall, a great place to stay. So sad we didn’t get to enjoy the area itself as all of our plans are in downtown.

Check in was seamless and we really enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants in town. The place was very cozy and perfect for my husband and I. The bottle of wine was a nice touch. We will return to Tonia’s next time we are in Bainbridge!

Michael's place is a beautiful apartment just as described in the AirBnb posting. It was impeccably clean, and nice modern decor. The Wi-Fi was great, and there were lots of nice touches throughout the apartment to help us feel right at home. Michael was a great communicator, and made us feel welcome. In particular, when I reached out shortly before our arrival to let Michael know that my wife had feather allergies, he ordered brand new non-feather pillows, which were waiting for us at the front door upon our arrival! This totally exceeded our expectations, and made for a really comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again if available on our next Seattle trip.

Lessley has been excellent. She has been communicative and her website she created had all the instructions in there. The house was super cute and she even labels the remotes so you know what is what. Love that the restroom floor is heated too, a pleasant surprise :) One thing to notice was the hallway to her place smelled of heavy cigarette smokes, it isn’t her doing but it’s unfortunate as the smell can mildly leak into the apartment to the kitchen area. Overall, loved the apartment and the appliances are all well maintained and clean. I would stay again - highly recommend!

A lovely stay! The apartment was perfect for us, the beds were comfy, amenities as described. Benjamin always responded in a timely fashion if we had questions. The building is quiet, never heard neighbors, very secure. Loved the rooftop, it is a must see! Close to everything! We didn't need a car, used Uber or Lyft if we didn't want to walk and most fees were under 10$. Best suited for 2-3 people.

Jing was a great host! She was able to accompdate us for early check in! Could not have asked for a better host! The space was clean and tidy, had wifi, and had a killer view of the Space Needle. There was also a washer/dryer and a portable AC unit. Complimentary Hi Chew and water was also a nice touch. The only other accomodation we could have wanted was place to hang out clothes. Not a big deal, but just a convenience. The place was about a 5 min walk to the Space Needle/Chihuly and a 15-20 min walk to Pike's. Having a parking space was key in the city. The parking space was tight and small, but was in a remote accessed garage and felt secure. Had a great time and stay in Seattle. We would certainly stay here again next time we visit!

The location is within easy walking distance to the heart of Ballard, which was a huge plus and exactly what my group was looking for. The hosts were very responsive and very accommodating to our needs - no complaints at all about the hosts, location or the home itself. Be warned the lofts are really only maneuverable on your hands and knees, so expect them to be used only for sleeping!
